Move On
(Anacreontic Verse)

Oh you tiresome
earthen road,
this traveler
faithfully has walked
your rocky path
of mystery.
I've traveled far
and traveled wide;
tired, I pause beside
your peaceful stream.
Its quiet soothes
my soul to long for
sleep in endless dream.
The fire is made,
the chores are done
why must I ever
move along?
Just let me lay
upon your bank
to hear your carefree,
rippling song.
But I must move on...
on and on!
Make haste while there
is sun and light.
More roads to walk,
more hills to climb,
before the dark
and cold of night.

Time To Move On -

if she permitted
i would have curled in a ball
in a dark closet somewhere
and wept my whole life
“too many tears are too much“
“grief is a bottomless pit”....

i read a MAAD book
that lectured me on coping
with a loved one lost
of an only son
‘lean into it’ they advised
i learned not to lean

i learned my lesson
the lesson was not to lean
on anyone but myself
and my late lost wife
i knelt face down on his rug
she came and knelt over me
when we heard the news
the news of our worst nightmare
our nightmare come true
six months of eternity
so it seemed----she knelt once more:
“it’s time to move on”...

(to this day i’ve not heeded
her advice twelve years after)

Drowning in the knowledge
That change is inevitable
Afraid that your decision might backfire

What can be more spine-chilling?
Is the fact
That not making the change will
Lead you to a point of frustration
Discontentment

In the end to stagnate is also a choice
It also has a consequence

Sinking into a True Despair

It’s like trying to shoot a monstrous ghost that you can’t ever see,
and, at the same time, this applies when one wants to kill a rumor,
and where everything is just like water running off a duck’s back,
and when you can’t see the source of it as it disappears over time.
Yet, if this leak becomes a true object of issue and a real concern,
then all the damage is irreparable and beyond any hope of saving.
It’s at this stage that we choose to cut our losses and to move on.
And, why not? Despair is always a part of the human experience.
Yet, where there is “despair” there can also be “hope,” if each of
us have the courage to summon it and to never take counsel of
our own fears. Hope can spring eternal, if the human will is stout
and courageous. Let us hope so and make it so!

What Makes Me Move On Is

Even if I am soaked with tears,
Even if I am burnt to ashes,
Even if I am hurt to the core,
I move on…
With a new hope…
For that for every winter there is a spring
For that for every tail there is a head
For that for every pause there is a play
So…move on…
With a new hope…

Move On

Shattered heart, quivering lips,
Anguish laden tears,
In sync with dragging feat.

Embedded footprints of echo and impressions,
On the drenched empathetic sand.

Sparkling rainbow sailing proudly on the waves,
Roared loudly," No sorrow can be forever grave."

Washed away every bemoan,
Sprinkling beautiful shells and stones.
Spreading a new lease of life to hone.

They don't think about their past, recent or long behind them.
Thoughts about their future are totally alien.
They strictly live from moment to moment.
They live in the now, unlike people who don't.
Animals have a tendency to move on very quickly
from situations that would cause people many years of therapy.

Whatever Happens Life Has To Move On

THE SUN IS RISING BREAKING THE DAWN
SPREADING HIS HANDS ON THE WRITING DESK

THE CLOCK IS SCREAMING WAKING US UP
FULLFILLING IT’S YESTERDAY ASSINGED JOB

THE CALENDAR IS CALLING TO LOOK AT IT
MENTIONING THE NEXT 24 HOURS OF OUR LIFETIME

THE FLOWER IS SMILING WITH CHARM
EVEN AFTER KNOWING IT WOULD DIE THAT DAY

ONE MAYBE STANDING INFRONT OF THE CLASS
WHERE THE OTHER GET APPLAUSE BY TEACHER

ONE MAYBE PROMOTED AS THE TEAM LEADER
WHERE THE OTHER GOT FIRED BY THE MANAGER

ONE MAYBE IN 1ST POSITION IN BIKE RACING
WHERE THE OTHER IS IN ICU BY BIKE ACCIDENT

ONE MAYBE IN SAFER SIDE DURING EARTHQUAKE
WHERE THE OTHER IS RECOVERING FROM THE LOSS

ONE MAYBE LUCKY ENOUGH TO ENJOY TRUE LOVE
WHERE THE OTHER IS STRUGGLING TO EXPRESS IT

ONE MAYBE TRANSFERRING LUMPS OF BLACK MONEY
WHERE THE OTHER IS SAVING FOR DAILY BREAD

WE MAYBE THE ONE OR THE OTHER
FOR EVERYONE THE SUN RISES BREAKING THE DAWN
WHATEVER HAPPENS LIFE HAS TO MOVE ON…

Do I Have To Move On

Things we never used to let that pain
Now were so coward like strings broken
Were so afraid of not coming back by those memories
Memories forgotten.

I am still here, I won't change a thing darling
But you insisted to get me lost out of nothing
Again, I am still here darling
For you I let myself in, like in our childhood dream.

There the two of us smiling
Tears fallen, promises never broken
We both sang our songs of living
You held me like I am insane.

I just thought you and I will last
Like we did in the years past
But you gave up on us, twist of two casts
They fell in love and now faded fast.

Slow motion and fast forward hallucinations
Love happens, love ended so soon
You left me like I am wandered, fragile, and torn
But darling, do I have to move on?

Forgiveness Is Key To Move On

forgiving those, who have done wrong against you is key to move on.
although they don't deserve it
if you dont forgive, the you, you once knew will be gone.
once you forgive, you no longer need to earn it.
you've moved on from the past.
and now, you're free at last.
go ahead and lock the door with your new key.
and open a new door that will move you on, and make you happy.
the time was hard, the time was long.
but now you have the key of forgiveness, which is the key to moving on.

To Move On

love isn't a mask for sex
its the person who could make your life a success
lust is just pleasure you don't ever need to like each other
love makes ya interested
lust keeps it going
If its both you probably found someone so magical
don't blow it

life isn't a chase
i'm just gonna live it
gonna pursue my dream
of PHDs I'll be the bees knees
with or without ya
I'm gonna be the best I can be.

Holy Spirit Move On Me

Move Upon Me Holy Spirit…

Holy Spirit, Please move upon me…
May these chains be broken, so I may be free!

Holy Spirit, I ask that you
refresh my soul
It’s only in you that I’m complete and whole!

Spirit of God, your presence makes
my life complete.
The words from you are ever so sweet!

  Keep me from
 all sin and shame.
I humbly bow before you and
give glory to God’s name!

Your touch is real and relevant.
May my desire for you be
truthful and evident!

Please move me
 in a Godly direction.
Take control and give me much
needed correction!

It can more clearly be seen.
Jesus my righteousness and everything!

Mold me and shape me
 according to your will.
The emptiness inside of me…
You’ll always fulfill!

I give you worship
and praise!
I’ll bless your name.
all of my days!

Holy Spirit… I come to you
 in prayer and fasting!
I’m leaning on your waves of love
that are everlasting!

I Must Move On

I Must Move On

It's been so long, why can't I move on?
I chose to leave on my own,
But now I always have memories of our love.
Part of the reason I left you is gone,
I left all of that too.

I go out and I think about you.
On this night I was alone and ready for a good time,
At the beginning of the night, it seemed that was all I could do.
As the night continued though, thoughts of the past,
Brought pain and it felt like I was right next door to hell.
I continued to remember that in my eyes you were so fine.
I fought tears back because I don't cry but
It hurts to know that we are estranged.
We probably would never be close again.
All I thought about as I stood by the water,
Was seeing you with another man.
It was there that I wondered should I slash my wrists?
As this thought ran through my mind
I know that I need to show a little patience.

Time went by,

Then I would try to only think of right now,
To have nothin' but a good time.
This would be great, I won't forget you but,
I need to move on.
It's been a decade and I ended it but I still miss you,
Maybe it was a mistake but life goes on.
I may tell myself I need to keep going,
But I just can't let go.
I will always have your beauty on my mind,
And no matter what it will hurt that I let you go.
They say every rose has it's thorn,
but this thorn is there because of me.
Now I stand by the same water,
Should I inject this poison to forget.
I just don't know.

Will I ever find love again?
The only way to know is to move on,
And forget the past.
