           The Midnight With You

To have a sensual repast with thee,
Upon a midnight, beneath our beloved
Oakwood tree!
Whenst the world, not a sound doth make.
Just lovers lips heard, smacking of
heavenly, baked earthen cakes.

Goblets, golden with jewels that doth
laugh and twinkle
This midnight repast we, sipping wine
so deliciously, swirl with our tongues.
Finding our bodies tingle.
We, the Romeo and Juliet of our day,
Unashamed to celebrate our lives in our
own private, hot foray.

Only celestial guests join us, the heavenly
moon and we...verily faint at the beauty of
our guests, the constellations.
Kissing unabashedly, in front of these guests.
Which human would have any reservations?

This very silent, intimate space on God's
firmament actually took place.
At midnight be, 'twas the blessed you and me,
Under the eyes of God and His most loving face!

Fool's Gold

Buying 22,000 acres for trinkets was bold,
Indians traded and Manhattan was sold,
Minuit land grabber,
Indians madder,
soon realizing $24 worth was fool's gold.

Les Visiteurs De Minuit

shipwrecked delirious at 89 bunker street
there lives my cloudberry doll
singing the songs of the blue hour

there lives my chantress with wax wings
my dormant (tor)mentor of keyhole view
reanimér les mémoires d'automne
in cryptic silence of a ramshackle silo

too late! I noticed the pallor of peonies
now here come the sleepers of far-off borders
les visiteurs de minuit,
the soldiers of melancholy
obsessed with sacred orders

and the sleepers shall not be awaken
for their spirits are in a perfect rapture
along with the pain that maddens my brain
that's when the hunter becomes the capture
that's when their sight turns into sick
la gloire ignoré, les yeux fatidique

You Think You Know

He leaves me speechless with his words,
stunned by the hurt I carry...
I never knew the power he had
to test my heart in wearing.

We dream of men to be polished,
So Minuit in gentlemen flaws...
The texture of reality surfaces,
That in him - is without laws.

Laws that hold a standard -to care
for others more than number one...
Minding the words one speaks,
To prevent future damage to be done.

We are taught words won't hurt us,
But in fact they pain most deep...
A fistful bruise will heal itself,
But words continue to seep.

Made a fool for what I thought I knew,
A man stronger than his tongue...
An apology comes in many forms,
After his battle is already won.

The blame will fall upon me,
For my insecurities pester...
Causing turmoil to those surround me,
but worse in my heart it fester.

Easily forgiven
is what is made to be done...
The heart forgives generously
but the mind holds the gun.

Years of foul tongues
leave little room for patience..
What is not his burden to pick up
will surround his existence.

I
                                              awakend
                                        in the dead of night
                                    passionate desires nibbled
                                hunger and thirst, consumed me
A Mayan princess was of no use to me now
I, who was king, became a slave to my lustful desires
Gargoyles and the devils helpers would fall at my feet, in death
yes in triumph I marched forth, eyes aglow, at the pastries I would devour

Note: The Title in English means "A Crime at Midnight" yes since childhood I am guilty of this crime!!!

Premium MemberI Stare At the Clock

I STARE AT THE CLOCK
ON MY WALL
THE SECOND, MINUIT, AND HOUR HANDS
MOVE AT DIFFERENT RATES
SOME QUICKLY
SOME MORE SLOWLY
AND SOME APPEAR TO MOVE
NOT AT ALL

I GLANCE AWAY
TO DO SOMETHING
AND THEN COME BACK
I ALWAYS COME BACK

THE POSITIONS OF THE HANDS
ON THE CLOCK
ARE DIFFERENT FROM BEFORE
BUT ARE THE SAME AS THOSE
OF A PREVIOUS TIME AND DAY

OF MANY PREVIOUS
TIMES AND DAYS
THEY SEEM TO REPEAT
BUT I AM NOT THE SAME
NOR IS ANYTHING ELSE

THE CLOCK TRIES TO FOOL YOU
IN BELIEVING
THAT TIME REPEATS ITSELF
AND DOES NOT MOVE ON
AND THAT ONE DAY IS LIKE ANOTHER

BUT ALL YOU NEED TO DO
IS LOOK AT YOUR OWN HANDS
AND THOSE OF OTHERS
TO REALIZE THAT TIME HAS MOVED ON
THAT WE ARE NOT FIXED IN THE PRESENT
NOR ARE WE THE SAME AS YESTERDAY
NOR WILL WE BE THE SAME TOMORROW

THEN YOU COME TO REALIZE THAT
OUR HANDS SHOW THE PASSING OF TIME
BETTER THAN THE HANDS ON THE CLOCK
AND THAT
THAT IS WHY WE PLACE OUR WATCHES
ON THE WRIST ABOVE OUR HANDS
TO WATCH
NOT ONLY THE TIME
BUT THE PASSING OF TIME

Full Moon, November

What color is it? that luminous light
throwing patterns past midnight under my
archway, and on the sand of the ocean
where I used to walk, wading home in the surf
from Moore's dance floor, where there was a real
live band on Labor Day at summer's end,
where window after window facing the roiling
sea brought a salt aphrodisiac as if
the moon was not enough?

Is it the pale blue of Roquefort, or more like Stilton,
color of cream, you might say, more radiant than light
spilled by the indecent bright glare of the Sun God?
It's the 'Minuit' stare of the Maid In The Moon, no
matter its color. She wakes us from sleep to put
our feet in her deep-cast beauty, to trouble
our hearts for lost youth and love, and if she's
not made of cheese, as fairy tales tell us -- No
matter! She brings us to our knees.

God Blog

I believe in God. because someone must have created earth and man.
There is a reason for everything on earth.
He created us in his own image.
The reason could be that he must comply with a universal rule "to increase or decrease"
Or to find the Son of God. a perfect human being without sin.
Every human being is examined by God at death for the answer.
Maybe Jesus Christ was he?
But he did cry out "Why hast thou forsaken me oh God"
Did Jesus fail the final test on the cross?

When God does find his Son.
The end of time will come.
A minuit will be the same as a millenium years.
This explains the truth of reincarnation.
Space will end, we will all be as one without any separation between us.
Come soon Son of God. how wonderfull it will be.

When you die the question will be asked are you the Son God ?
You may be reborn or end.
No thought of hell or punishment will be administrated by God.
We must set an example show the way make our children children of God.
We must live in a Godlike way.
Norman Purvis.
