Affirmations insistent,
in truth make us resistant,
because love employs no force,
so why then cry ourselves hoarse?

Our heart, not mind, does capture,
thunder of bliss borne rapture.
To perform a true soul scan,
do we need a middleman?

Premium Member No middleman needed

we witness in dismay
the fall of many a sage
preying on those yet weak

when the false falls away
why then do they love upstage
taking money from those who seek

the path is clear as day
silence in mind-body cage
prevents needless energy leak

let conscience have a final say
that we err not on this world stage
for earth will be inherited by the meek

in monk mode making earth life play
as we turn a new page we come of age
soul dipping in soma nectar its eager beak

love and light in heart is the way
forgiving one and all, taking no umbrage
vibrant, blissful, dancing with love cheek to cheek

Dad Did Not Quit

Can we talk over dinner?
I’ll be composed,
Salad a middleman
On orange china.
I won’t stare daggers
I’ll only look gently
You won’t upset me
You won’t cry
Tablecloth a barrier
Of polite normalities
No last words.
No hard feeling.
You’ll drift atop
Jello molds,
An angel in suburban hell.
You won’t tell me
You quit your job,
And our haven
Will remain bubble wrapped.

Fake gurus abound, be careful
Why search for middleman
Be as God made us: beautiful
No filter, save love scan

Light flame of innocence
Our soul’s luminescence
Blissful effervescence

Fear spins us around
Fake gurus abound

Lean not on gurus, for God search
Why prop up middleman
Sitting on high and mighty perch
Our credit card they scan

God within intimate
Here now immediate
Go in now, do not wait

Falling Tragedian

Fall, fall, and fall again.
You want me to fall and break my bones.
All while I bleed and play your middleman.
Sticks and stones don't hurt my bones.

Darling, you're just a fool.
You think I'm as weak as before?
One, you're not cool, and two, I'm not a tool!
Who knew your weapons made me stronger?
Only your worst nightmare knew.
My pride will always shield your stab wounds.
This beautiful world of mine is bright, not blue.
I'll never welcome you to it.

I'm not going re-live the past.
Perhaps I was a little girl,
nonetheless, our history has passed.
That little girl has grown up now.
You can't remove that from me!
Haven't you grasped what you've done?
From a fragile princess to a wise queen -
this war has been settled, my old friend.

Fall, fall, and fall again.
I'll continue to fall, but not for you.
It's the way I can rise as a tragedian.
Thank you for the tragedy, it is my art.

Overabundance of Books In Market

Overabundance of Books in Market
****************************
"On the turn,
I've found
an overabundance of books
in the market !
I've heard .......
There characters are being sold -
in some relations,
in some selected installments. ........
Some has filled with reasons.
Some has filled with superstitions.
Some has guided the paths.
Some are seeking the ways.
Some has for equations.
Some has for clarification.
Powerless words on paper
are moaning in acute torture.
Wound of such scratch
that are not coming on tongue.
Some are stumbling
due to anomalies of characters.
Some are shrinking & blushing
as they're too scared with spellings.
As if, buried in the pages,
worn saree of bookbinding.
The middleman is recovered
the desired auctioned amount.
It's the worst crime !
The buyer
becomes offender.
As finally he does confess.!!"_____Durgesh Verma (28/07/2016)

Marriage In Debts

Marriage is an engagement,
Two minds agreement,
The bed playing the middleman,
A bed,the first debt in marriage for settlement,
Ring brings a debt,
The cake baked in debt,
Dress designed in debt,
Meals in merchants books of debt,
A marriage is said in life to set,
But in fact it's settlements of debts!

Friendhip Fallout and Forgiveness

Don't drag me into this fight
That your attitudes ignite
Every time you are together
Being apart would be better
So I'm not the middleman
Just on time you thin there can
Be a civil conversation
Without all the aggravation
That builds up with each time
Both your words get intertwined
Into one big fight and fuss
With each swear and angry cuss
Forming each line when you speak
This friendship is at the peak
Of destruction that will take
A friendship that used to make
Great joyful times and memories
Into a lost history
All because of foolish pride
Someone need to bend and try
To fix what is going wrong
And rebuild a solid strong
Friendship like you used to know
Please just let the anger flow
Out of both your broken hearts
So there wont be any shots
Of hatred around no more
There will be good times in store
As these issues are worked out
Without all the yells and shouts
I just want to see two friends
Working it out and soon begin
A new journey without hurt
And a friendship full of worth

Neighbor's Hair and Revenge Availed

Plaited and curled as rolls
Protecting and strengthening as house poles
Arrangements made and broken
Neighbor's hair to be my token
Weekend is near and the hair is new
Neighbors gather to curl it as a crew
Shame is gone and pride is merely anything
to enable the husband engage with a ring
Neighbor's hair will avail the revenge
If at all you comprehend, and never again pretend
Or fail to arrange, that which I do not wish mention
For to attract your attention
Do it and do not be ahead man
Do not be a middleman
Do not be boastful
Be a serviceman
Be honest
Be attractive
Be assertive
Be faithful
Be reliable to avail the revenge.

Economics 101: Cut Out the Middleman

The Rabbit lay dead on the highway,
All his Easter Eggs scattered and crushed.
His poor bunny ears were tattered and torn,
And his bunny brain squished into mush.

Not one person there would accept the blame,
they said it was a real hit and run,
Til the detective found a little round hole
And the Rabbit's own little .38 gun.

Seems like under this road runs a sewer,
And it was there when our poor Bunny died.
So I don"t think that this was a murder,
It's a pure case of sewer side!

The detective was charged with a criminal pun
And the murder plot started to thicken,
We still don't know who benefits from this crime,
But we now have a new Easter Chicken.

Faith

Faith, belief in the unknown,
Hope in the unfathomable
Reliance on the uncertain
Fleeting blessing, sexy mercy
Sweet contempt, I hold you.

The missing line in the rows of
corn
The implementation raven
The middleman hovering nigh
and up
Oh knot tightener.

Why do thou elude him?
Your ardent yearner
The boy-man;
who seeks thy face
The soldier-seer;
who craves thine audience.

What's the grudge unheard?
Why the muteness, why the
act
Why the wise game of chess?
Why the incessant sign-flash.

Is his spirit stick-Lean
Does the refuse lie with him?
Infant soul, impertinent mind
Elephant heart, vast pate.
Undoings of the co-defendant

Reveal thee; my desire
Connect me, his sob.
Immerse him, HIS mandate.
Faith, there lies your task

Middleman

Sins that I gave
on behalf of a broken heart
I gave them to you
So they would tear you apart

Not intentionally
I didn't intend to fuel this fire
I couldn't care less
I've burned out of my desire

For me, love isn't necessary
it's not a demand
I don't want to fall in
I don't want to understand

The sins I gave to you
on behalf of your broken queen
she feels most alone
when you are so mean

I tried to console
I tried to show her
that with two people
opinions are to differ

She cries to me on the phone
'Why is he doing this to me'
I dare not answer honestly
I just let her cry. I let her be

So I give you these sins
to contemplate and think over
So that you would stop and think
before you claim that you know her

People change
they grow apart
They find different interests
and they break your heart

I cannot do anymore
I cannot be in the middle
I've dealt with this before
and can safely say I'm through

I gave you these sins
and I sent away the broken heart
to let the both of you
break eachother apart

It's not my problem
I don't care anymore
I've been through this
too many times before
