Shun the religious fundamentalist

Affirmations insistent,
in truth make us resistant,
because love employs no force,
so why then cry ourselves hoarse?

Our heart, not mind, does capture,
thunder of bliss borne rapture.
To perform a true soul scan,
do we need a middleman?

I say we need a mediator - there is only one. This answers the question for me and gives me peace. Only the Ancient of Days sees the whole picture passed on generation to generation, between peoples and knows even the number of hairs on each individual…but that is what I believe. Blessings, dear one.

But can we trust the heart? We lie to ourselves. It is in spending time with others and communing with God that we learn more about ourselves. Have you heard of the Johari Window. If not it is very cool. Hugs

My view is that the more we seek, greater becomes delusion, since we reinforce the idea or belief of separation. Mind bisects, heart unifies. Thus resting thought, in staid silence, the seeker (ego) disappears and heart lotus blooms. But we must obviously de-addict ourselves from dependence on thought. The realisation of the truth of our being or Self is in the heart.
