GOD LOVED ME THROUGH MY ANGER

God loved me through my anger
from me He never waned
In spite of my bad behavior
His mercy towards me never changed

God loved me through my anger
He's saw beyond my pain
He understood I felt hurt
defeated and strained

God loved me through my anger
He forgave my sins
He overlooked my malfeasance
and embraced me once again

God loved me through my anger
He saw beyond my pain
He understood I felt hurt
defeated and strained

In the midst of my anger,
God saw my potential
He prayed I'd be restored
hopeful and essential
anger is the opposite of righteousness
anger is emotional callousness

God loved me through my anger
He's saw beyond my pain
He understood. I felt hurt
defeated and strained

I now stand at His altar
To Him I now submit
for He loved me through my anger
and to Him I recommit

God loved me through my anger
He saw beyond my pain
He understood I felt hurt
defeated and strained

God loved me through my anger
He saw beyond my pain
He understood I felt hurt
defeated and strained

Snared

Extricating himself from the stench
Of malfeasance and saturnine flirt
And letting go of fleeting grasps that hurt,
He gulps galls that all atrocities quench.

Her trapping snares and claws of death
Capture and enslave with biting clasps,
And he tearfully tries with groaning gasps
To flee from this enslaving dragon breath.

And now time has flown to decades two
And he hasn’t yet disentangled himself
From this deathless devilish amorous elf
That coils round his glittering jewels true.

Monolith to malfeasance

A leviathan tower
engulfs the skyline
grey and brooding.
One watery morn
green robed ghosts
convened with mortals
to obfuscate and inveigle
a white soul
in sanitised halls
where consent is captured;
no ransom demanded.

The Nigerian Reality

In Nigeria, obnoxious decrees seal my lips.
Edicts made and interpreted by rubber stamps
are enforced by judicial merchants and chief whips.

I risk going to the gulag and confinement camps
if I don't sugar coat fudging and deceit.

I must sugar-coat and seal my lips with sugar,
with the sweet lure of toadying that makes me bigger,
or unveil malfeasance and have my abrupt exit.

Each prerogative denied comes with a reward;
The prerogative of elusive energy
The prerogative of the residents' award
The prerogative of the school leavers' Energie
The prerogative of entitled wellbeing
The prerogative of mandatory instruction
elude all, but benefit few by decreeing.
Toxic decreeing of rationing and privation.
The misery of all benefits a select few;
A chosen cabal in the radar of government's view.

Those Whom the Gods Destroy

In days gone by, when people lost their minds
They used to say the time is out of joint,
It is a discord in the spheres that blinds
Our natural reason, makes us miss the point;
The movements of the planets and the stars
Are interrupted by some meteor,
Or Earth and Venus misalign with Mars,
Causing plague and pestilence and war.

These seem to be just as convincing reasons
As any that a rational man can find
For such elite establishment malfeasance
That drives societies en masse to lose their mind.

Those whom the gods destroy they first make mad
And goad them to tear down the best they had.

Election Problem: the Court; the Umpire; Party and the Masses

WHAT THEY SAID:
MASSES: Our votes must count!
AREA BOYS: We only know our pay master, the originator of stomach infrastructure
PARTY MANIFESTOS:
LP: You won't labour in vain
PDP: When we were in charge, we were the biggest economy in Africa
APC: We will "cushion" the effects of subsidy removal and increase "minimum" wage.
THE UMPIRE:
Bimodal voter accreditation system (BVAS) and Viewing portal (IREV), are both "game changers!"
We "shall" UPLOAD, and TRANSMIT "results" immediately
The electoral process will be "FREE, FAIR and TRANSPARENT."
THE PRESS:
(A)
We have noticed election malfeasance, like: vote buying, voter suppression and intimidation
THE PRESS
(B)
Elections haven't started, but reports say "results are already being announced" in Nasarara
THE PRESS
(C)
Sources say "ballot boxes" just "arrived" Kogri at Noon
THE PRESS AND MASSES in UNISON:
Which one comes first, the results or the election?
THE UMPIRE: You reserve the right to go to court
THE COURT:
Ours is to "AFFIRM" victory and "DISMISS" noise makers.

His son was more sinister
He was a minister in the
Church of Confederate Christianity,
a denomination that is anti-family,
anti-immigrant, anti-democratic,
anti-Semitic, racist, pro-gun
and absolutely pro-life, perpetually
in the courts, perpetually in the news
and social media, perpetually in your face
a rising case of rape and incest,
a danger to our lives, an acute
health problem, requiring
an abortion!

Witch In the Water

I see no point in continuing
to put pen to paper
my words far too weighty
to float to the surface to be seen
from the depths
where I was damned to dwell
tossed into the abyss like rubbish
toes and thumbs tied together
proving my innocence
of any malfeasance
at the expense of my existence
gazing up helplessly
at the soles of shoes
affixed to the feet of those fortunate
to have been born with the ability
to walk across water quite easily
who never bother to look down
as I drown

We can hear their chanting even if we are deaf.
We can see their malfeasance even if we’re blind.

They turn our earth and churn out our roots.
They poison the water that feeds our minds.

We see it coming like the evening dark, we hear it roar like thunder storms.

They sow their seeds and expect us to nurture their growth.
They expect us to succumb to their rules of law.

Fascism waves its banner high but cloth and dye will not dim our light.
Fascism scratches at our way of life but it will never own our days and nights.

Premium Member Good Morning

GOOD MORNING
I wake up crying
The birds are not flying;
All kinds of strangeness
From the sun that once
Sustained us.

When I first shook um...
People were drowsy
''Good morning. New day.!
I said: I am not here for pokes
Likes, or as a comic relief.
Poets down played my message.'’
And my belief ‘s.
‘’ God, I gave you my soul to keep’’

In 2011 when I first hit the scene
Much could have been avoided then.
When I came, I came in straight shooting
Exposing malfeasance in
their lousy schemes, 2016.

We constantly are afraid of dying.
Pertaining to ‘’Putin, and all the looting’’.
Now, we all wake-up crying,
About who’s on the take.!
Once again, ‘’I lay me down to sleep.’’
That is, ’if we even dare to wake’’!
Children of the 50's speak…

The Zen Sprit of True Love Or What Is Love Part Two

the one walks out
of your dreams
and into your life
becoming your wife
my wife one day
was berating me
for all my myriad faults
all my sins against her
my omissions and commissions
malfeasance and misfeasance
things I had done
and things i had failed to do
all of which I acknowledge
and apologized for

and apologized for
but finally I had enough
I said
well if I am so bad
so horrible
so evil a creature
and a person you hate
so much
why the hell did you marry me
she laughed
temporarly insanity
and I am still insane
twenty five years later
we both laughed

we both laughed
and fell in love
again
as always
we fall in love
with each other
every day
every moment
every second
it dawned on me
I had the answer to the question
and that my friends
is the true unknowable madness
the true zen spirit of love

Standing guard a once majestic neighborhood
Sawn apart from natures living wood
Dusted grey by ages blowing by
Dilapidation falls, the cities cry

By malfeasance where once a palace stood
Against the wild desires to render dark
Wrought by charge, another face demands the final dollar
Disgraced by greed misplaced, a disposition now unsteady

So like us the bleeding out
No respect to spare a face
Grief our legacy to failed belief
Lonely sentinels in a stricken place

Pet Fish

My pet fish walks too slow
In fact it does not walk at all
It does not walk on water or walls
It will not skydive or mountain climb
I suspect it of criminal malfeasance
Fishy activity like swimming is suspicious
Open and shut gills prove the point
Fish have no hands or feet
So guilty as charged
Is fishing a misdemeanor?

Are fish involved in water sports?
They don't drink beer or smoke
They hide in oceans
Fish lips make kissing noises
Pretending to tell you secrets
Have they forgotten English?

Why are goldfish orange?
Why not yellow or gold?
(Hence the name)
Is there something I'm missing?
Is something wrong with fishing?

Fish never look you in the eyes
Theirs are situated oddly on the sides
Heads bobbing left to right
Do goldfish cry?

One lap around the bowl and they forget
Your name and there's a distant memory
What kind of friend is that?

I can't pet my fish for many reasons
One of them being it is already pet
There are rules lest you forget

Why do goldfish die?
I feed them all my M&Ms
They melt in the mouth
Not in the water
If they are such good friends
Why do we flush them down the toilet?
