Premium MemberThe Restless Mind

The moon, a silent, watchful sphere,
Observes a world that's fast asleep.
And in this quiet, lonely fear,
My restless thoughts begin to creep.
The popcorned ceiling, a vast, pale sea,
A bumpy map of what I'm not.
I long for what the world can be,
A place where consciousness is shot.

I close my eyes, and try to find,
A path to where the dreaming lies.
But pictures flood my weary mind,
The waking world behind my eyes.
The window shows the silent street,
Each house a box of hidden dreams.
I want to join that slow retreat,
And drift away on silent streams.

My body pleads, my spirit sighs,
For peace to wash this anxious dread.
To shut the world out from my eyes,
And find the comfort of my bed.
The final prize, the sweet release,
The quiet rest I cannot keep.
To find a moment of true peace,
To finally fall into a deep... sleep.

Woven Tale of Love

The night Sky glimmer high above,
Radiating hope for the young lover,
           Distance seems no problem
While the horizon is beyond their vision.
                  As each year slips by,
 Togetherness becomes lonely thought;
Like a frost within the heart,
                A thorn buried deep
                   The pain is real.
Love's bliss is tinged with painful thought,
It's tale, a woven pain and gain
             Echoes through the valleys,
                To reclaim the distance.
Night shall pass while the year glides;
In a blink, it'll be fall of winter.
                   There'll be a pain,
                 And there'll be smile
               Yet Love'll endure it all.

Alone Lyric By Eileen Manassian

Alone, alone..
.always alone
The pain I feel
cannot be known
This heart of flesh has turned to stone
Alone, alone...
I am alone

Chorus
Alone, alone...always alone
My dreams on wistful wings have flown
Depression has usurped my throne
Alone, alone...I am alone

Instrumental

Alone, alone..
.always alone
The wind gives voice
 to primal groan
This world
no empathy has shown
I'll live, I'll die,
 and rest...alone

Chorus
Alone, alone...always alone
My dreams on wistful wings have flown
Depression has usurped my throne
Alone, alone...I am alone

(Alone)

(Alone)

(I am alone)

Premium MemberWillowfall Glade

Turn where the willow's tears still fall,
And follow where the river's call,
Through meadows green beyond the wall,
Where whispers echo down the hall
Of ancient secrets, big and small.

Cross over bridges spun from dreams,
Through shimmering, sun-dappled streams.
The path forks left on fairy gleams,
To where the lonely star-seed teems
Upon a hill of pastel schemes.

And when the twilight paints the sky,
Where sleepy clouds go floating by,
You'll see a garden, low and high,
Where painted stones with magic lie,
Beneath the watch of one small fly.

A waterfall of silver sighs
Will lead you past the startled eyes
Of little gnomes who tell no lies,
To where the golden poppy tries
To touch the home that never dies.

Premium MemberA Ring of Tears

He smiles, places the ring on her finger.
She smiles, but then she bows her head.
Cuz she knows that sometimes, love won't linger.
But with time, she'll know if love is dead.

He swears that, that last time, was the last time.
But any promise, can still be broken.
And for her, no more church bells will chime.
Only scars on her heart, as a token.

Chorus:
And we'll be dancing, tonight,
Under the full moon, so bright.
Still, she'll spend all her years,
In a lonely, Ring of Tears!

And as her love disappears,
Trapped in this lonely, Ring of Tears!

THOSE DAYS ARE GONE

songer.co/song/uoybps6svtfpdjvmsumcec1c

[Verse 1]
I thought I was fine
You weren’t really on my mind
That was until
You were gone

I got to town
I really liked the way you hung around
Turned my frown upside down
Then you were gone
I’m all alone

[Chorus]
Was it something I said
I’m sorry if I was wrong
But I don’t know
Why did you up and go
Was it that song
Could it be fear
Turned you into a ghost
Now you’re not here

[Verse 2]
I’m so confused
How you pulled away
Without even a whisper
We were talking yesterday

I’ve played it back
A hundred times
What note was missed
That ruined our rhymes

[Chorus]
Was it something I said
I’m sorry if I was wrong
But I don’t know
Why did you up and go
Was it that song
Could it be fear
Turned you into a ghost
Now you’re not here

[Bridge]
I thought I was fine
I can’t get you off my mind
All the times we had
Those days are gone

[Outro]
I thought I was fine
Those days are gone
Those days are gone

Premium MemberA Dragon's Grief

A Dragon's Grief

My love, he sits on mountains cold,
His dragon heart, a story told.
Not of fire, but of a past
Where happiness could never last.

I watch him now, a silent king,
A broken bird with one less wing.
He fought for us, with all his might,
To bring the dawn, to end the night.

But shadows fall, and darkness reigns,
And all that's left are bitter pains.
He weeps a tear for what we lost,
A kingdom burned, a heavy cost.

He's not the beast I knew before,
Who'd rage and fly and soar and roar.
He is a man, a broken soul,
Who's lost his way and lost his whole.

And so I stand beneath the stone,
And weep for him who weeps alone.
My love, my king, my dragon lord,
He bleeds with me, with every chord.

Premium MemberHaunted Highway

All my life, I've bled my mind
It's painful and it's tolling
Cuz all those dreams I left behind
Is why my head keeps rolling

Chorus:

There's no free rides, they say
No free rides will be coming your way
No free rides today
You know you still have to pay...down this Haunted Highway

I found no reasons in this life
No reasons to be lonely
But heartbreak seasons, they cut like knives
So, no seasons for me only

Chorus:

Boy, there's no free rides, they say
No free rides, I tell you, no way
No free rides today
No matter come what may...down this Haunted Highway

All my life, I've fed the lie
That I could have love my way
Still my head keeps wondering why
Rolling down this endless highway

Chorus:

There'll be no free rides, they say
Pack it up and go your own way
No free rides today
You know we all have to pay...down this Haunted Highway

GOTCHA !

Tingly skies full of surprise oh how I love when with surmise,
the little rascal aims his dart as if it were, poetic art!

My heart was once a lonely keep, a silent place while I did sleep.
But then you came, my tabby boy, a cream-colored, purring joy.
I trace the stripes across your fur, my solace in your gentle purr.
Your tiny paws, a silent tread, upon the pillow by my head.
Those golden eyes, a knowing stare, you're more than just a passing love affair.
You chase the light, and ambush a sack, the simple joys your presence bring.
I scoop you up, my furry prize, and melt within your loving eyes.

When cupid's arrow aims for you, there isn't much that you can do!

When Their Whispers Became Too Loud

In the stillness of darkness
mockery, lies, gossips like air arise
dragging you down, for a penny sake
Abuse of power just for wealth.

Who would have thought of these silent moves?
Cheating on a poor innocent
While still in a dungeon of fire in a
gloomy weekly days and nights in lost paradise.

The so-called "smile" is a shadowed
for the world to see, but the cruelty it brings into reality.
A smile that wears a mask, sarcasm and insults that leave behind a scar.

'Till a dame's untouched heart broke
Lonely, weary and dreary.
No one cared, nor listened.
In the name of Penny.

Still, I wait for the beaming light above,
the everlasting hope in my heart
will never fade.

I won’t let evil take root in me—
only the Spirit,
somewhere, somehow,
guiding me
to make my deeds upright.

JUST ASK

Lyric Man (Chance Summer)

JUST ASK
[Verse 1]
If you're needing healing, wrestling with disease,
If your wallet’s empty, you're down on your knees.
If you're feeling lonely, too proud to even cry,
Or lost in the darkness with no strength to try.
If you're holding shame like a heavy stone,
If joy feels like a thing you've never really known,
No ask is too heavy, no pain for God too deep,
He hears your silence, He sees every single need.

[Chorus]
There’s a light just beyond the shadow,
A promise of hope that you can follow,
With every tear that falls, He’ll catch your pain,
In the heart of the storm, love will remain.

[Verse 2]
If your faith feels fragile, held by a thread,
If your hope is tired or your dreams feel dead.
If the prayer you're whispering feels lost in the breeze,
Remember that love can set your soul at ease.
You’re not alone in this tangled fight,
There's a strength inside you, embrace the night.
No burden too heavy, no heartache too small,
His grace will find you when you’re about to fall.

[Repeat Chorus]

Premium MemberRangers in the Park - Sinatra Redux

~ To the tune of 'Strangers in the
      Night,' by Frank Sinatra ~

     Rangers in the park
Two lonely rangers in the park

       We're wond'ring in the dark
       If they'd catch us necking
          by morning’s light

      O, Rangers in the park
Two lonely rangers in the park

      Suddenly we know
It’s time for us to go ~
         They’re filming Noah’s Ark

      Doo-be-doo-di-doo... fade out

~ To the Tune of 'One More Night'
                 by Phil Collins ~

One more write, I gotta do just
one more write, there’s gotta be
               just one more write
left in good old me tonight

Babe, without you I’m so lonely
but what moves me now is only
One more write, I gotta do just
one more write, for you and me tonight

Premium MemberI Wandered Weightless as a Feather

after “I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud” (also sometimes called “Daffodils”) by William Wordsworth

I wandered weightless as a feather,
a muted plume from mourning dove.
A tuft afloat in breezy weather
connected now to skies above;
as long as winds will carry me
from over fields and out to sea.

My glad esprit more free than birds,
detached from mortal needs I fly,
where spirits long to share their words
among the songs in clouds, I sigh...
for Earth was never this composed,
this high I travel unopposed.

Oh, cumulus! A meadow white,
I feel at home atop its waves
illuminant, in purest light.
Mid savored heights my mem’ry saves
inertia of the clover green
and shiver of the water’s sheen.

Such riches now I do enjoy
in solitude away from fray.
I'm free from living once so coy;
in spirits’ realm I long to stay,
for then, myself I will fulfill
with gild as gold as daffodil.

This Damn Song

All I want in this whole world is someone to love,
Someone to hold, to cherish, to dream of.
All I need is someone to comfort me—
To stand by my side, to help set me free.

Someone to talk to, to whisper things to,
Someone, my dear… someone like you.

Someone who'll love me, and I’ll love them back,
Someone who’s faithful, not someone I lack.
Someone—oh someone—help me, I pray…
Someone who’ll love me forever and a day.

Someone, please—ask her not to leave,
For without her, my life is a sieve.
Someone, oh someone, hear my cry,
And tell the girl I love her—the one who said goodbye.

Someone, please someone, tell her I’ll wait—
Wait for her return, no matter how late.
I’ll wait here forever—I don’t care how long—
Because she’s the reason I wrote this damn song.

Yes, she’s the reason I wrote this damn song.
She’s the only reason I wrote this damn song.
