Premium Member Loneliness of a long distance lover

What I can't do from this great distance
is hug and kiss you, for instance.
But I can whisper in your ear ~
tell you that I hold you so dear ~
and that I'd be there with you ~
at your merest insistence.

WONDER LOVER

Hello Indiana
You beautiful like Ariana
Do you smoke Marijuana
It feels nice like you in Havana
Could we be like Dolce and Gabbana
Imma turn you into a star like Tatiana
Take you for a trip in the Savannah
I go make your dreams come true like Hallelujah

             **********

The moon once flourished in twilight’s tender grace,
a lover shrouded in a soft, enchanting embrace.
The stars, as promises, sparkled upon her skin—
each twinkle whispering of what might have been.
She swayed with the night, then chose to depart—
a fleeting brilliance at the dawn, gentle heart.

Premium Member I'm not a Lady Chatterley's lover

I'm not a Lady Chatterley's lover.
I'm not her gamekeeper, I just dream of her.
I've been ensnared by her outward charm,
and though I know it will cause great harm,
I intend to read her, cover to cover.

-the lover in you-

i remember the day love was found,
you and i were all the world had to offer-
when two hearts were love bound,
both listening to the thumping sound
of hearts given to each other-
no-
i’ll never find another lover-
        like you.

i thought of our youthful desire,
and how you touched my soft scars
under moonlit teenage stars-
now these lines on my face still yearn
for those gentle hands of fire,
melting into my soul, I feel it burn,
yet they still touch with ease,
i’m begging you, never stop--- p l e a s e...

i craved a garden,
you planted a seed-
a heart that was hardened,
still a heart in need.

forever was granted so long ago,
and you vowed to never let me go.

i needed you then,
i need you now, still-
    for i’ll always need….
                 the lover in you.

Premium Member Lover Grandpa

There once was a lonely old poet,
Who wooed women with verses so know-it,
They’d smile and then say,
“You’re charming, dear ye,
But grandpa’s more apt—still, he’ll still show it.”

My Unknown Lover

In slumber's realm, you visit me each night,
A mystical presence, a guiding light.
Though unseen, your essence I behold,
A guardian angel, watching over my soul.

With every dream, our bond takes flight,
A connection deep, a love so bright.
I know we're destined, meant to be,
Two hearts entwined, a love yet to see.

The day we meet, my heart will sing,
A joy so pure, my soul will take wing.
I'll behold your face, your loving eyes,
And know that God has kept you for me, my prize.

My unknown, my heart beats for you alone,
Longing to see you, to hold you, to call you my own.
In dreams, you're vivid, a radiant light,
A glimpse of heaven, a love so divine and bright.

With every breath, I'll wait for the day,
When fate brings us together, come what may.
Until then, know that you're always near,
In my heart, in my dreams, you're always dear.

God's promise whispers, "They'll meet in time,"
A love so strong, a bond so sublime.
My unknown, my best friend, my guiding star,
I'll cherish our connection, near and far.

Premium Member Sorry

The way you had to be
It was the way I had to kneeel down,
the waves that we sorted out
came back to us.
The turning point could have
been our way to choose.
We didn't take the right one,
only we worsen our life to destruction.
The way you were, made me feel miserable,
The way you were, made me feel doubtful.
The way you were, made me walk on a tightrope.
The way you were made feel a queen at the same time.
You had all those things to make me be confused.
I wouldn't spend a second to write, but I know you were the one.
Now, you are not here anymore, but I miss the way you were.
I miss how difficult you were,
how distant and cold sometimes you showed.
I know you had a hurt heart
which I could not heal.
Now, that you've become only
a whisper to my ears,
a dream to my nights,
a daily reminder. I want to tell you one thing. I forgive you and I've just hope you can forgive me too.
You weren't a bad person, or me, just circunstances
made us to take different routes.
Now, you are death, it' s nothing that I can say, just sorry if I could not understand the way you used be.
Sorry, my heart beets on, because only me knows the way you were.

Cow Lover

strongest cloven fiend
a face adored by Venus
beautiful bestial body
so loved by God in Genesis

take the crimson string
tied upon his velvety hide
red thread cuts the skin
ankles bound for the ride

hoisted on the mantle
an all engulfing spiral
upon pearlescent horns
blackish fur of desire

dark red heart
beating at his side
a full blooded kiss
could never be denied

Snifter Lover

After sun there is rain
then her and her brandy on
a gloomy balcony—
moon sharp like a forced smile
Dark skin folds under
a dark, windy night, in
chocolatey air—with a note of
chemical cherry, candied like her lips
imprinted in the snifter’s memory
It doesn’t keep track
of the route of sun, only
the dusty cabinet and her
trembling finger around its neck
Breathing seems unnecessary, at least
when glass no longer tastes like rejection
numb lips no longer taste tears

Night lover

My eyes shut a moment to escape the world around me,
They open to complete darkness, again the night has found me,
For in that lonesome moment my eyes were forced to close,
The sun again has left me just as quickly as it Rose,
The night's My only lover darkness my only friend,
The only one I wait for now is the sun to rise again,
Too much time wasted waiting on the one,
That prince who was going to save me and love me more than anyone,
For years and years I waited until now I'm old and gray,
The only one who came for me was the night that turned to day,
Now I know some people are just meant to be alone,
So the only one I wait for now is darkness to call me home

Premium Member Fifty ways to leave your lover

She was definitely dumping him
All she needed was the right opportunity
It was like that song
Fifty ways to leave your lover
Now just to get it through to him
You’re crap in the sack Jack
If only you were more like Stan
What a man
Or even Gus
Though, you do have a lot in common with Gus
You always go by bus
God, you’re so last year
Out on your ear
Okay, maybe that was a bit severe
Need a new plan
I’m just going to tell you straight
Before it’s too late
Don't come on all coy
There's something I have to tell you
It's about me and Roy
I’m having his boy
I know what you’re going to say
What happened to Lee
Let me see
It started on the bus
Him and Gus
I don’t want to discuss
Okay, well Stan caught them
Do I need to spell it out
Stan said they were all like brothers
Now it seems like those two are lovers
Stan was devastated
I mean, was that in the plan
Anyway, Roy told him about us
Which was fatal for you and Gus
When the driver braked
Driving the bus
Stan no more
So I end this letter
Missing you Jack
Such a young age to leave
Just turned fifty, lover.

My true lover

My darling, my love
I'm hopeless in love with you
In your arms, I yearn for your touch
I found who you truly are.
I trust you as my best friend and
My true lover

Throughout the storms we wheather
Hand in hand, together we walk to
The promise land.
I love you more than anything, my faith
Hope surrounds you.

We build relations on trust
The happiness in you makes me happy
The kindness you share with me.
Makes me smile,
But your love will always be forever

Meant To Be

We were meant to be
Like a Queen and her honey bee
One can not live without the other
We were born to be with each other

Nothing could separate us like the seas
Even if they rip you away from me
If that were the case I would never shudder
I will always find you my lover

For I know our love is strong
Like roots on a tree so diverse, so long
But our roots are much stronger than steel
Leaving no trace of an Achilles heel

As beautiful as birds in song
There is nothing you could do wrong
So far you’ve only allowed me to heal
My love for you will always be real

LOVE DIFFERENCES

In a mother’s eyes
no flaw is visible
her heart a quiet refuge
a place that always says welcome.

In a lover’s gaze
every glance carries meaning
but her heart can feel like a clinic
open only to wounds that don’t bleed too deep.

In a father’s world
tears are tucked away
love spoken in silence
offered through actions, never words.

But in a lover’s world
tears are dismissed as weakness
and love must be loud
a performance, always on stage.
