VIEW THROUGH as I DREW, my darling HUE: color BLUE
TRY to FLY HIGH! HIGH! then greet HI to fluffy SKIES;
Don't SPRY, don't be SHY! Be SLY pass BY with one SIGH;
My darling HUE: color BLUE; VIEW THROUGH as I DREW.

To feel THRILL be STILL as you SAIL; TRAIL the TALE of blue WHALES
In blue OCEAN, see WOVEN MOTION, CHOSEN shots a GOLDEN TOKEN
A NUMBER SHUTTER of the HUNTER is a THUNDER WONDER for LOVERS
TRAIL the TALE of blue WHALES to feel THRILL be STILL as you SAIL.

THREE SHE AGREE as EMCEES to SEE the deep blue SEA.
Feelings so GLEE 'cause it's FREE, excited together they FLEA!
With their KNIGHTS, the HEARTY gals PARTY all NIGHT long
To SEE the deep blue SEA THREE SHE AGREE as EMCEES.

One and TWO but time FLEW; many CLUES I KNEW I GREW
OOH! There are FEW BLUES I want to STREW and BOO.
OUGHT for TAUT FOUGHT, DROP SHOT NOT to be DISTRAUGHT.
Many CLUES I KNEW I GREW, One and TWO but time FLEW.

HIDDEN in ZEN's GARDEN DEN, There TEN blue butterflies beauty GEN.
DANCING while playing then TEASING and KISSING all roseBUDS.
No blue DRUGS but BLOODS afire with some BUGS all did RUB.
There TEN blue butterflies beauty GEN, HIDDEN in ZEN's GARDEN DEN.

Despite RAINY DAYS, SHAKY KATIE delivered her blue BABY SAFELY.
God, she PLEASED as after SURGERY, LADY KATIE'S AMY join the NAVY.
Her DISEASE neither FREEZE nor CEASE her KNEES;
SHAKY KATIE delivered her blue BABY SAFELY despite RAINY DAYS.

Premium Member Ain'T Love Grand

“Ain't love grand” is an old expression
Still applies after all these years
Age has no bearing, it's a life long affliction
Not gonna change, have no fear

It's the engine that drives us, it helps us through
The good times and the bad
It's miles ahead of whatever comes second
The sweetest experience you could have

“Ain't love grand” you bet your sweet bippy
Without it, we're lost in a sea
A boring and mundane, existence we'd lead
Love sets our dear hearts free

So keep your eye out for that special lover
They're also looking for you
Don't give up hope, eventually you'll meet
And a lifelong affair will ensue

Premium Member Forever Entwined In Love

The first time, I saw my love it was a moment in time,
      It was a spiritual experience and I was swept away;
I abandoned myself to this perfect head-spinning love,
Obsessive musings, like an addict with mood swings.

It was more than his physical attractiveness for me,
      I was lost in a dream of a forever, ever beautiful love;
Falling for him was like falling into a crystal clear stream,
I dreamed again and again of our precious moments.

I was an emotional wreck, who could not sleep or even eat,
      My heart beat faster when he was even just talking;
When we were apart, I was full of longing and anxiety,
Falling in love is very bizarre, it creeps up magically.

Soon our lifes were entwined and we were deeply bonded,
      Coated with desire, respect and a genuine courtship;
I let go of expectations and overlooked all his negative,
He was my lover, my friend and my companion always.

We never crowded each other, we both had an outside life,
      With our own interests and friends, our eyes never roamed;
Sadly, we buried a child on our journey and that made us stronger,
He took this weeping girl that was me and I was healed.

Then, the unimaginable happened, my love was taken away,
      Another path was written for him and I was left far behind;
I only find my love down a winding path in a place of tears,
His name engraved in cold stone for all of eternity.

But, my love for him endures and will never, ever dissipate,
      Our bond is endless, and I know he waits beyond the clouds;
It is a love that even death cannot destroy, and it will go on and on,
And in my dreams, he lives still, quiet, gentle and strong.

Something About Me

Open your eyes in my ordinary world
Have mother and sisters to tell my words
Can be easy to get along with wherever I go
But you can’t drag me to parties, hear me say “No”.

Bit prissy and formal when meeting the crowd
But when I get close to someone, I love to be loud
Everybody thinks I’m prim inside the school
Outside my box is person who loves to be cool

I can be a friend, a lover or your nightmare perhaps
Never try to wear something thick on my face that flaps
Nobody knows there were plenty of treasures I already found
But I choose to keep my feet holy on the ground

What people see is not almost accurate as they thought
They didn’t know that I tasted struggles – I do fought!
A little poem something about me can let you think
I am beautiful enough like diamonds at night that blink

I See You

l see you in a crowded train,
ln a lonely station l see you.
l see you in tomorrow's touch.
ln serene sunrise l see you.
l see you in my office at times
ln eyes that smile l see you.
l see you in sickness and pain
'midst men and women l see you.
I see you in ocean's tide
In shells ashore I see you.
l see you in years passed
ln sultry days l see you.
l see you in a petal soft.
ln a drop of rain l see you.
l see you in a grain of sand.
ln a rainbow too l see you.
l see you in a baby's eyes
ln dreams of love l see you.
I see you in tender lips
In broken hearts I see you.
I see you in a rubble of loss
In tyranny and chaos I see you.
I see you in a strand of hair
In moments of loss I see you.
I see you in a painter's art.
In empty gaze I see you.
I see you in a writer's pen
In awards, ceremonies I see you.
I see you in blossomed breasts
In flakes of snow I see you.
I see you with all my being.
In moments of death I see you.

Premium Member Whatever Makes You Feel Loved

Smile from a teacher
Laugh from an excited toddler
Snuggle from a kitty
Lick from a puppy
Are all beautiful things to me

Hug from a good friend
Pat from a mentor or someone who knows me well
Wiggly looks from a lover
Affection from a spouse, child or grandchild
People who make me feel loved for who I am

Hot chili fixed my way with corn and potatoes
Jalapeno peppers because I love them
Lemon meringue pie
Coconut cake
Are all beautiful things to me

My art work in neon colors
Black lights to make them pop
Mural I painted on my wall
My poetry
My cartoons
Hobbies that make me feel loved for who I am

Whatever gives you joy
Whatever uplifts others
Whatever inspires you
Whatever helps someone else
Whatever makes you feel joyful, are all beautiful things!

Premium Member Let Me Be

I want to live
today
into my being
I want to love
this hour
into fullness
I want to write
this moment
into eternity

Let me live
let me love
let me write

don't burden me
with responsibilities
with agendas and appointments
with guilt ridden reminders
of what I must do or say today
let me dream it all away

who knows
I might be sleep seduced
death directed
before I attain the apex of aroused awareness
what a crime that would be
if I lost this opportunity

to live
to love
to write

let me be
drenched in destiny
can't you see
desire denounces distractions
from what is meant to be

Let me live
Let me love
Let me write

I need to simply be
the woman inside of me
a lover of life, love, and poetry

It's Not Our Right To Judge Others

When we are judged by others
It has us ducking running for cover
Many of us discover
The people who do it rarely recover
The respect and love that they smother

When they cause a storm that thunders
That for most us is a wide-open stunner
That makes us feel like we have been attacked by a slugger
What they don't realize is they are the ones that suffer
For judging another

Causing what is left to only hover
That can ruin a relationship forever
Whether it's another brother or your lover
It's not our right to judge another
Any kind of judgment that makes someone flutter
Making them feel like they are less than others

Igniting feelings that make us want to stand and fight
That puts the relationship in a different light
Causing nothing but trouble
That makes the relationship struggle
Like it's stuck in a bubble

In spite of what you think this is only Gods right
It only steals our sunlight
That makes the relationship shine so bright
Puts our world out of sight
Leaving most of us in dispare
Taking our ability to love and care
Or treat each other fare

Strangeling our relationship into a rut
That makes it hard for us to let
Our feelings become unstuck
Ultimately making the abuser shut the door

We all need to abide and take Gods side
So our relationship doesn't just want to hide
Rather than float like a butterfly
To live all our relationships with life's highest high's
Letting any judging of others just die
So we can see each other eye to eye

To a future Lover

I am watching 3 inches off of the floor,
The man outside waits at my door
I know the screams from within the box
Howl and call upon your order upon the rocks
But I know you can hold your tongue 'till the end of the night
And I know you can wait until I seem right.

Feel your spite, wait for the burn
For we all want, we all yearn
Wait 'till the rafters waft clear air upon your neck
And slither the silver lined tears that slipped as I begged for you not to check
Went as you dreamt and I wept as my days fell to waste
In haste as the rafters breathe my name and a lack of accosted face.

Calm the wolf from within the box
As it grazes your poisonous flesh to protect my infancy from the fox
And I know its not time to let go
But the manhole beneath my feet pounds at my door, as I fall slow
The stars dont seem so far, I have found
Wait, for the words beneath the world may fall down.

This cant last for much longer, not anymore
But there's so much water pooling beneath the door
I wait for you to pick up your head from the floor
Before I fade away and fly
Further towards the future prediction of faded grave
And engraved words that spoke of one, and none that forgave.

Wait for me, wait as I wave, hold upon my lacquered oak door
And hope your unsustained kisses sing the words slipped beneath the door
In my heart I had a place for you
In my mind, I thought you knew
through and through, your fist would always break through
Before the chain of the swing broke and the manhole only grew.

The poem never ends heartfelt
We forget this flesh, blood and bone was borne to be felt
Forget this sad life, for I'll slip by silently
And we can separate separately
Before your order is recieved
And my door can recede.

Treat the right side of face, made up and out of place
Criss-cross down and turn before the water can swallow what is left of the face
Lullabies left to ripple across with words sang through a silver lined haze.

Ain'T That a Kick In the Head

Ain’t that a kick in the head?

Ain’t got nobody to ‘love you lots.’
So what?
Ain’t got nobody to call.
That’s cool.
Ain’t got nobody to call me good.
Good.

Ain’t got enough time to tell you the truth.
Whether I am good or bad is not up to you.
I decide to be real or lie.
So what if I don’t care if you begin to cry.

As they set you a task,
It’s all a-tisket, a-tasket, a-yakety-yak.
It’s all the same to me; don’t play your game.
You have to work or laugh.

Complete the level;
Move onto another.
One courageous deed needed indeed,
To find a perfect lover.

Stale-mates.
Just you wait.
Set your head free of need,
Or bite me.
