Liam and Noel Gallagher

Talk of an Oasis feud is over,
Brit-pop the corks for the supernova,
fair play to those Burnage boys,
tour dates set to make some noise,
they'll walk in sunshine, champagne and clover.

Juggling - For Deirdre and Liam

Juggling with kids is hard work
I mean, you two have so much energy
you too

I love it
But I can feel the pain in my
what are those muscles in my legs?

Tossing one kid to the next
like a pair of socks
bouncing balls so far we have to find them
running

As we laugh at every toss, every miss
again and again I hear a giggle
another giggle, sometimes a "sorry!"

there is nothing to be sorry about

I'm in shoes, she's in socks
pretty socks at that

D's socks we throw at each other
are Deirdra's too

Liam's bare foot
is tough enough to stand agains the wall

Your laughs, our laughs
at every toss and catch

one two

ev'ry 5 seconds
for an hour maybe more
adds up to hundreds or thousands
of laughs, giggles, I'm sorries
and I hope for many more

The Witch- Collaboration With Liam Mc Daid

The WITCH
A
furore
in the town,
draped in black gown,
a WITCH is brewing a storm.
Bringing nightfall to the dainty
spiked with malevolence and vanity
spitting a curse from her wicked tongue
Silently scoffing the blood of old and young
eyes of medusa , cursed to the bottom of the sea
she is the descendent of a dark world of fantasy.
The magic emanates from her ravenous eyes,
rendering the stories of deceit and lies,
grimaced into the gloominess,
of shallows and emptiness,
she is brewing a storm
draped in a black
Gown .

Dark Clouds - a Collaboration With Liam Mc Daid

Grey clouds the innocent sky ambushing light turns dark
stumbling over a tombstone opening up cold graves

When eyes become frozen behind scenes in hidden truth
as a weight deadens upon the shoulders without hope

A ghost from past experience consumes the present
and golden sands blacken beneath your feet fallen one

Deep undercurrents strains awaken in the ocean
Invisible cloaked dagger pierces without mercy

I pray waters calming find peace in this mortal frame
as the whirlpool of desires casts an ominous spell

Upon the sea of life Satanic storms enter Hell
and exudes within the malevolent clouds failure

Forgiveness stands at the crossroads beholden no more
within promise of a dream transparent through the rain

As yellow moonlight draws one pathway clearly cutting
brings you safely home to love under a fragile roof

Under black currents of loss when the heart returns beat
in the last teardrop sorrow remained faithfully loved

Fifty Shades of Red With Liam Mc Daid

FIFTY SHADES OF RED

She indulges in sensorial delights
Marked with the color of ecstacy
The passion she drinks is dilluted with eroticism
The moon melts with her gentle gaze
Honey drips from her luscious lips
Like ruby flames sweeping desert dust away
Oasis of churning lava explodes within her fiery spirit
seducing the sun with her golden skin
Far away from Love's imprisonment
She builds her castle of desires
Imprinted with
                  FIFTY~~~~~ SHADES OF~~~~~~RED~~~~~

The Poet and His Mistress -A Collaboration With the Romantic Liam Mc Daid

The Poet And His Mistress ~A Collaboration With The Romantic Poet ~Liam Mc Daid

Her lustrous skin captures his vision
He gently carves his desire on her
The foreplay of word begins
As she divulges the door to heaven
Bewitched by the color of her moonlight,
he bathes within the salt of her valley
The mystery behind his curtain of words
Is unlocked by his divine mistress
His heart races when she silently meets
the poet of her sensual dreams
As he traces her beauty with his fingertips
Ice melts on her crimson lips
And the foreplay of word begins

Thank you Liam for sharing The canvas with me

Premium Member Ode To Liam

Oh how my heart yearns for you
That once was my dearest friend
We traveled many miles with each other
shared our thoughts and passions

We put the world to rights time and again
You were my sanctuary from life's woes
Never asking or expecting anything from me
freely giving me everything you could

It was only when you were taken from me
That I realised what a gift I had lost
The gap left in my heart so big,
A chasm I was unable to fill

Why oh why you i cried out in sorrow
It should have been me for you were no age
The angels took a piece of my heart
On the day they took you

One day soon I will again travel with you
For such is the fate of mankind

For Liam

I remember when I was told.
Family in silence.
It’s not fair. The heartbeat of appliances still whining,
I focus on times I thought we’d grow old...
Clouds part with unexplained violence

And our faces begin to pour.
A hundred questions, a doubt
And what else? Footprint in a concrete driveway,
A spark-maker unlit watching seagulls soar
From the soft earth, noise drowned out.

A boy sleeps waiting to wake
To manhood. Creased cheeks quiver,
And what he gets instead are flowers.
Relics in person, I question the ache
That asks why we give rivers

And must move on, while they remain.
Held by the smooth arms of trees,
Swallowed by a blanket of grass.
I ask the plaque what I cannot my brain,
Logic replaced by glassy guarantees

I see right through. He will not rise.
Facing away from a marching sun,
A no longer marching son lies.
