I AM THE LIGHT WITHIN THE DARK

On the course of life's highway;
I am walking to mine horizon;
In the witness I am smart;
I'm a walking to mine horizon;
I am the light, within the dark;
I am the heat, in the fire spark;
When noon nest loses in light;

Standing on the curb
In the witness I am smart;
I am righteously embarked;
 On the course of life's highway;
I am walking to mine horizon;
I am the heat, in the fire spark;
I am the light, within the dark;

PIDGIN(NIGERIAN)?for di coarse for life's highway;
i am walking to mine horizon;
for di witness i am smart;
i'm a walking to mine horizon;
i am di lait, for inside di dark;
i am di heat, for di faya spark;
wen noon nest looses for lait;

standing for di curb
for di witness i am smart;
i am righteously embarked;
 for di coarse for life's highway;
i am walking to mine horizon;
i am di heat, for di faya spark;
i am di lait, for inside di dark;

For di darkness we doe sleep;
Wen di moon don risen;
We’ve all dun fit tha decision;
Ta sleep for night;
Close awa eyes lose sight; (we sleep for night)

We all sleep for night;
There’s no reason to rise;
We all sleep for night;
Are traveling dis dun;
For di risen sun; (walk dun run)

Wen di lait, dey dun no show; (we sleep for night)
Lighting di path for which way ta go; (we sleep for night)
For di darkness we doe sleep; (we sleep for night)
Wen di moon don risen; (we sleep for night)
wen we close di door to day lait;
makin a conscious decision, (we sleep for night)
And di day turns into night;
Darkness comes and we sleep for night; (we sleep for night)
We sleep for night (We sleep at night)

OVA Di Lait I Dance In the Dark

Open parade skies blue where R you;
Father love only hurts when it's not honest;

As I shine bright as nova;
Each step I take closer and closer

Ma Best Friend Is My Car

I hope my car starts tomorrow,
That I can leave my street Charles de Foucault,
That I can go write a poem, or almost,
I love walking an hour in the fresh countryside.

I hope that I can cross the bridge, the harbor,
To buy milk, port and natural fruits,
That I can leave my city for a few hours,
I love to think of you, in the silence of the countryside.

I hope my car starts tomorrow,
That I can go to the cinema to see a Romanian film,
That I can go flower Mom’s grave,
You see, I’m nothing without my car.

Golf Links

Trump's golf course has a Miss Fore Play
Who's on the tease most every day
At a random hole
She swallows a pole
To the chant and cheers of, "au lait!"

Premium Member Morning Coffee

in my dream of dreams
i wake so gently
nudge you as you sleep

the caress to tantalize you
aroma seductive in the air
café au lait brought to your lips

secretly how I long to be
the sprinkle of sugar in your cup
the jam on your croissant
your morning ray of sunshine

o how I long to be
the spark of joy
upon your smile

Premium Member Paris By Day

Paris by night is gay,
I prefer Paris by day
I love the ambience and style,
French fashion stands out a mile,
From all the others in that trade,
The best designs are Parisienne made.
The French have flair beyond compare,
I praise the food and savoir-faire
Visiting a French bakery
For cafe au lait, gateau or tea,
Little bistros are a treat,
Place where young lovers meet.
Romance in Paris Ooh La La,
For love, one does not need to look far.
Couples walking hand in hand,
It could be just a one night stand.
The French love to love, so they say,
Even if it lasts for just one day.
The feeling of romance is everywhere,
Strains of music in the air.
People reading while sipping wine,
The atmosphere is simply divine.
The lake shimmers like glass
As children's toy yachts come bobbing past.
I have lost all sense of time, as I'm
Captured by the contentment on the faces
Of people of different ages and races
Enjoying their day,
In their way.

Pain De Peche Pentagonale

De la croûte à la mie
Parvient l'essentiel de l'ambroisie;
De la préparation à la fourniture
Tournoie la belle tournure.

Miettes pêche en poudre,
Saupoudrées à la surface,
C'est son coup de foudre
Tout à votre chasse.

Taro, crème, lait, pêche bien assortis,
D'ensemble ouatées au sein,
C'était ce à quoi Euphrosyne mordit;
Sa joie se transmet à travers millénaire chemin.

Un bonbon chic au beau milieu,
Comme l'étoile la plus brillante au centre de cieux;

Que vous ayez la pêche permanente;
Savourez-le souvent,
Que la bonne santé soit à la suivante.

Premium Member Life's Cup of Joe

No sugar, no cream,
jet-black and bitter;
nothing to enhance the taste.
That's how
I like the truth,
in all its forms.
Just give it to me straight!
The more bitter, the better!
No sugar,
yes, let it stay bland
No cream
to change the hue
to cafe au lait.
That's how
I like my dose of reality
That's how
I like justice
That's how
I like my friendships
and relationships.
That's how
I like promises made
I love life's cup of joe
black as coal
so I can taste the beans!
I don't care
If my taste buds disapproves.
No sugar, no cream.
I want it's true flavor.
I want it to linger
on my palate.
Please and thank you!
As for a cup of joe itself,
Sure, I'll take sugar
and cream...

Premium Member French Ladies

Ladies from France
Renowned for their glamor
Parade designer dresses
All day long all night long
Like gazelles in stilettos
Looking fit looking fab

It’s a mystery and conundrum
How successful they are
To maintain girlish figures
While we punish ourselves
Trying to lose every pound
It’s not right it’s not fair

I’ve decided to see for myself
Take the next red eye flight
Meet the ladies for breakfast
Spend a day à la parisienne

So here I am ~
Starting off with café au lait
And a big buttery croissant
Rush to this shop and this bakery
One errand then another
What a joy to sit down for a bite
It wouldn’t be a meal without wine
And a baguette s’il vous plaît
Then artful pastries sublime masterpieces

Whew ~
My day is done I’m back crossing the Atlantic
What have I learned from my day with the ladies
They’ll buy one croissant or a chocolate not a box
They love friends to laugh and chat at the table
They’ll nibble their pastry savoring each single bite
They prefer to shop for fashion than for food

Premium Member Cafe Au Lait

He twittered close to me
 one wobble at a time
 without a chirp without a sound
 just feathers, beady eyes

 He found
 a pine cone on the ground
 and with his beak
 he tossed it
 this way ...that

 Then suddenly he flew away,
 leaving me at the window
 watching
 like a morning starved girl
 before her cafe au lait

Premium Member Sonnet of the Night

Ringing in the stars with harmonies of night
no greater sonnet ever was then that of
midnight hues of moody blues and acorn light
oh blessed breath forsake me not thereof
no splendor greater then this evening glow
has ever touched my brow or curved my smile
I long to stitch this memory with songs of flow
then wear it like a crown while I compile
a sonnet of great beauty by a sway
as worthy as the dusk that falls upon
a willow bark of deep cafe au lait
oh blessed breath enfold me til' the dawn
has blushed my reverie and seized my day
enwrapping with gauze and morning ray.
