Thou hast been conferred with the crown of princess -
The crown of Degree in Biotechnology by HIS Grace,
The Lord hath been with thee all through the years of thy learning,
Thou hast been blessed with spiritual parents by HIS Mercy,
He hath guided thee with HIS Wisdom and Knowledge,
Each step thou hadst made hath been touched by HIS Hand,
The Knowledge thou hast Imbibed hath been HIS Breath,
The seconds thou hadst spent have been set by HIS Words,
The thesis thou hast prepared hath been guided by HIS Utterance,
The projects thou hast done have been structured by HIS Plan,
The professors who have taught thee have been designed by HIM.
So, keep thyself totally surrendered into HIM Who is always good unto all.
HE hath crowned thee with stars of HIS Grace and Mercy,
Yet, more than this, HE is thy Eternal Guide and Comforter,
And HE seeks thy soul and heart for HIM alone above material blessings,
And so, be in HIM and walk spiritually for HIM alone,
And HE shall sustain thee in this life and in the life to come.
A mangled man's
remains,
remain dismembered.
Scattered limbs
laid amongst the
litter.
Littered
ligament lies
amidst tense
muscle,
resting cuts
lay tender.
I really
try to not
remember.
This I
wish I
was lying about.
I can't
I magine
mans lying about.
Torn asunder, ripped
apart by chainsaw
teethed razor.
Rehearsed excuses
always sound best
on scratch paper.
Throw it away or
save it for later?
From behind ear
whisper bubblegum's
last flavor.
Hope all is better
before a blue
member come rapping
upon thy chamber.
They won't just go away.
It's best to
answer, then
answer what they ask.
Then they'll leave you
alone.
To go
about your day.
left in disarray,
disagree met dismay.
Where is the
line that
compromised game
last time?
I laid down a heavy burden called yesterday,
another called tomorrow,
and finally one called today.
Afterward I felt an infinite lightness surround me
buoyed by the breezes embracing the eternal present
which never leaves and which we leave
at our own peril and to our own dismay:
There is not another
just the one that is us and our own self
resting in the embrace of timeless praise.
Christopher M. Swan 2008
My oh my—doesn’t it look appealing,
Imagine the flavor, the plan, the prize,
promising promises, ready for savoring,
A cup held high before our eyes.
But pause before you choose to drink,
For it is not quite, what it seems.
What glistens as good, what sounds so right,
May mask a far more dangerous means.
Coup d’état—an act of treason,
No matter who commits the deed,
No matter the banner, cause, or reason,
Truth bent to fit the need.
One of the highest crimes conceived,
Where justice must not be delayed,
When power is seized and laws are breached,
The cost paid by all who stayed.
A nation built on sacred ground,
On principles rooted in God’s Word,
When leaders break the laws they’re sworn,
The wound is deep—the blow is heard.
So let us refuse the coup-laid rhetoric,
The narratives poured to make us numb,
Resist the urge to drink persuasion,
From voices void of truth and love.
For games played on opposing sides
tearing at our common thread;
And if we’re not discerning still,
We’ll drink what’s served—and said.

path laid down by divine hands in heaven ~man treads along as he can
Without much of a ceremony
one day i walked through a portal
knowing everything would be different

Laid up in bed but we really don’t mind,
it’s raining and a football game’s on;
Let’s make out slow in-between plays;
With a dollop of ice cream,
dip into my rhythm;
A moan not a howl;
Until the clock
hits zero,
release
waits……
Permanent grave
Nestled under a maple Tree
My grave and me
Had a fulfilled life
Gave good advice
Went through numerous circumstances and situations
Received no appreciation
At peace
In Heaven at least
At ease
Don’t mourn nor cry
Don’t even try
This Soul is no more
I have been committed to the ground
Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust
Laid to rest
Forgotten Soul Forever
24 hours pain
medication wears off
recliner -new bed
Thinking about us
I come undone
Looking back I don’t know
Whether we lost or won
Voices in my mind
That I just can’t translate
But I know
I’ll learn to appreciate
I’m not laying blame
I’m not keeping score
I just wish I could find
Who I was before
All was taken
And more was lost
A dissociative fugue
Cost us the lot
What am I supposed to do
When parts of me
Trapped in the past
Are forced to flee?
Nobody sees
Just how hard this can be
Cut off from reality
Locked inside
Misery remains
Hanging by a noose
The final thread
one day will
be cut loose
We fight to run
We fight to return
We fight to live
We fight to die
When will the world see
Just how bad the
trauma was for me
I wasn’t lying
Or making it up
I had medical evidence
That backed me up
I’ll never understand
How a judge
Could’ve dismissed that
Robert Burns knew schemes.
Like all of us,
His vanity
Lent him an illusion
Of control.
How did his wisdom come?
Did his head fall beneath the trap?
The cat is away, time to play.
What's dearest to your heart?
A night in paradise?
A glass full of lies?
Maybe a vision of ladders
Climbing closer to your treasures.
Come now, come now,
Free will, will reveal the maze.
Starving for peace,
Our plans
Unfold like walls and cul de sacs
Before us.
Hunger for control,
Needs too deep to fathom:
I am the master of my destiny.
And of course, we're right,
Right as rain.
Our destiny, our plans "gang aft agley."
She That With A Sweet-Laid Kiss Captured My Heart
She a true angel yet forever incomplete
Yes, forever and a thousand years in a day
But her heaven rests completely between her sheets
Her love was abundant, sweet in every way
But in love's resplendent and blaze-cast flaming throes
She felt the intense burns of love's amazing heat
In her hotter flames she gave thrills down to your toes
Her fiery sexcapades, nothing ever cold beat
Blessed was discovery of that cool hidden heart
Wooing you with that dearest billion-dollar smile
After all she was beauty and grace from the start
But sometimes she had to use her wily wiles.
She that with a sweet-laid kiss captured my heart.
June morn we both swore to Heaven we never part!

She came sauntering into the bedroom with that peacock look.
Not only is she sexy, but Queen Hafsa is an excellent cook.
Is my steak finished? King Sabir asked, salivating a bit.
Queen Hafsa gave him a dance that showed him her whit.
His brown eyes narrowed as he stared at her feathered tail.
Hey, he asked, did the peasants yet bring in the mail?
She gave a spin and stared the king down hard.
He coughed a bit, and was shaking like jelly lard.
Queen Hafsa still had a mesmerizing effect on him.
He knew now her act was serious, not a whim.
She pinned him to the bed and gently stroked his arm.
He laid back and gave up. What could be the harm?
She was a beast in the bedroom, his lovely queen.
A tiger, a cougar, a devout lover, smart and keen.
King Sabir’s eyes narrowed, and he let her lead the way.
Thrilled to the core, with his sensuous queen that day.
What a wonderful gift ?
Such as an Amazing Love
There is no better love than Jesus
He gave His life HIS mercies Grace
Sufficient He gave HIS life
What can a mere man do for me,
even if he gave his life
~
My Jesus loves me unconditionally
He gave up His life
For His purpose was to be God and man
Sinless cause He gave up His life
He laid down His life
To redeem me cuz He loved me so
Would another man do this no

My dog is as laid back as Bob Marley.
I smiled at the thought.
He dresses like him too, the old hippie said.
I had to meet him now!
He is a giver, the old timer admitted.
And a singer – a howler, but on key.
I had no comment.
Not understanding this but wanting to.
His wife ushered me in.
He’s crazy about that dog, she told me.
The dog was dressed in his Bob Marley costume.
I got a photo with him, for I could not resist.
