Kind Soul Poems | Examples

I’ll reach you, love, ere my feet can

Unsure on way I was vacillating,
My thoughts walked way ahead me waiting there.
Now I’ll reach you, love, ere feet reaching there,
And wet you with love ere rain raining there.
A few of our friends when come to meet us
Shall barge in ere e’en air entering there.
I try and soothe senses of your kind soul,
You pause plucking flowers flourishing there,
I tell you, flowers will die anyway,
And shall die a slow death suffering there.

Hardest Goodbye

You lit up the room,
Raising the vibe,
Made sure that you always,
Protected your tribe.

Way too young to leave,
This shouldn't be true,
Never once did I imagine,
Doing life without you.

Such a kind soul,
Through and through,
A devastating loss to so many,
Who knew and loved you.

My hearts been torn apart,
Leaving an aching scar,
You're the hardest goodbye,
I've said so far

Premium Member I need to say you are loved

To you who have
never received a love letter ~

Here is the one I write to you
so you may hold it in your hands
and carry it next to your heart.

You are a kind soul and have bestowed love,
you've seen beauty where there were clouds
~ to you I offer gentleness as a bouquet.

My thoughts are genuine and caring,
my heart goes out to you because
you deserve the gift of tenderness.

You deserve to be told daily
how beautiful you are inside out and
how you make this world a better place.

Fly High,Edward Ebbs

Dear PoetrySoup friends,

I haven’t been around much lately, but when something touches one of our own, it hits deep. A few hours ago, Ed Ebbs ’s wife shared the sad news of his passing. My heart is heavy. Ed wasn’t just a talented poet, but a devoted family man, a gentleman, and a kind soul, always faithful to his beliefs.

Let’s take a moment to visit his poetry, honour him, or say a prayer for him and his loved ones.

.Ed Ebbs:

He lived with kindness, grace, and care,
A faithful heart, so rich, so rare.
His words will linger, soft and true,
A gentle soul, we’ll not forget you.

In quiet strength, he led the way,
A beacon bright, both night and day.
His legacy, in every line,
A lasting gift, pure and divine.

Now joined with angels up above,
He rests in peace, surrounded by love.

With sympathy,
Charma

Premium Member My Soul Speaks Kindness

I am feeling like my words need an escape
There is no crisis, just my jumbled thoughts
and the blank slate of a new day
So, I take a deep breath, and let my soul speak to me
It tells me that I should be kind today
to both others and myself
And perhaps go out of my way to help someone,
while it may not seem like much to me,
it could make the day better for them
And just be a kind soul in a world where kindness seems to evaporate

Premium Member When Summer Is Gone

In twilight's early shadows, when summer has passed
A wandering lost soul whose heart has strayed
A soul adrift upon an autumn night
Longing for love's warmth and to bathe in a deeper ecstasy

Eyes once strong now weakened with age, blinded by tears
    Longing to be free
In this autumnal time when some freedoms reign
How wonderful it would feel to be free from all earthly pain

Needing a connection and loving hands
A kind soul to guide through the rest of this troubled land
Just a few kind words and a gentle touch
Would help this autumn to heal a heart

Love a well-known awesome balm, would heal emotions, and
Chase those shadows which tear us apart
At summer's end when those dark, dark nights
Appear upon the scene chasing my sad heart

Let me find solace and a loving soul
     Who understands summer is gone
Then winter will come, and we'll be alone
The passage will open to carry us back home

Premium Member Unicorns will not take an apple from just anyone

Unicorns will not take an apple from any Dick Jerry or Tom
They know a kind soul when they feel it, and glean a light on.
Do not expect to toss them an apple and expect them to care.
They understand human nature faster than most humans dare.

Premium Member Controversy

I myself, more than society am I
A delusional world beyond belief struggle
Or obstacle of movement as a mountain
Controversy world torn between two souls
One heart's breathe to survive who we are
Kind soul that its anger rage so
Killer instinct the body feels excite
Even killer smiles behind face hidden

Lost being in ourselves a unseen truth
They kill the truth, sparing their tears
A society gone mad, controversy wars rein
Crying helplessly from darkness ruins
Destroy all that is good kings shout
Slave to man for their greed we feed
Only you be chosen, your innocent free
Convicted by words, right or wrong

In ourselves we fight in contamination
A poison of blood drips a fiercely change
Or just who we are, we are not same
The one I know before controversy hit
Who are we that cities..lives are devastated
People die, hunger, homeless; veterans forgotten
That even in ourselves we forget one
As world go extinct, nature barely existence
Controversy, no longer word but a problem

I marvel at those, and not

I marvel at stranger’s kindness,
At beauty born of a child’s smile,
Its imprint etched on memory,
Ah to re-live after a while.

Why, goodness of any kind soul,
A kindly touch on mortal flesh
Retained till wrinkled gets the skin,
Till scorched at death, turned into ash.

I marvel at an autumn leaf
That leaves, not a word of regret
On face, nor of its mother tree
I marvel at the souls grown great.

And how can I forget cuckoo
That waits for someone’s views nor clues,
And sings, world approves it or not,
An alibi there’s, nor excuse.

Those that wait not for weather warm,
And in silence venture ships launch,
Nigh undeterred by thoughts of storm,
Not those that hide behind loin haunch.

Premium Member he feels

like an empty jar
discarded by the wayside
thrown into space
waiting to be recycled
by a kind soul

the label has weathered
apart from the bit stating
the best before date
which seems long in the past
while the future is undecipherable

and yet it contains
weary promise and hope
to be refilled and
put to good purpose and meaning
through meditation and prayer
in order to obtain mindfulness

slowly he retrieves himself
from gloom and oblivion

as he wakes up it dawns on him
that he had been dreaming
but at least now he
resides in the jar

Premium Member The Cowboy Poet Will Write

That part of me belongs to someone else
You knew it all along as well

We have no pretense on the past
just how long our friendship will last

I am hoping it's more than a flirt
the gentleman cowboy does exert

A gentle kind soul is he
he is also devil may care and free

We met by chance on the internet
He told me which songs of his to listen too

I had never really heard him sing
His speaking voice stretched out and it rings

He has a poetic way about him in life
it's no surprise he embraces the poet life

He told me I have inspired him to pen
I look forward to what he writes about then

His inner soul we will get a peek
And maybe we will get in deep

That cowboy poet is a soulful man
I am thankful I answered the DM then

For you, you know who, Speak your heart
( it's actually a country song, I may try to set it to music. )

Premium Member That Extra Mile

When you are living on the street
depressed, lonely, hungry, and beat,
begging coins for something to eat;
you need more than a smile.

People scoff and offer small-change
labeling you as weird or strange,
treating you like you had the mange;
each day is a trial.

You pray someone will help you out;
a kind soul that won't mess about,
but wipe your tears and calm your doubt;
and go that extra mile.

Kindness

Kindness
By Michelle Morris
28/12/2021

We are all capable of being good
We are all capable of being kind
But it all starts with ourselves
Embracing who we are

Those small steps forward
Being better who you were yesterday
The experience and the lessons
Breaking down all that's untrue

It remains a lifelong learning
For each of our hearts and souls
Stilling the inner critic
And ignoring the outer world

Life is complicated for everyone
We do what we believe is best
It doesn't always help us
Or the people that we meet

Kindness is who we truly are
Pure souls often snowed down
By debris from outside and in
Trying to unlearn indoctrination from all

No matter what happens on your path
Be kind to yourself first
And once you're at peace with yourself
You can show kindness to the world

We are all decent in our souls
We are love and light within
It sometimes just takes time
To reveal the purity and truth

Premium Member Saved a Soul Saving Myself

Saved a kind soul that was falling
with nothing to lose
just one abdomen, no sharp fangs
but huge.

And what's worse
the carton I called home,
my dark universe
upturned
just a moment ago..

Uprooted now, I went crawling
trying my best to live
running from certain death
knowin it may arrive
wondering why..
always such a test
to survive..

Was it all for naught
to flee such an attack
an octet onslaught
crawling this way and that.

The sky lifts now, feeling of flight
so frightened..
yet never so alive!

Found myself being gently placed
a tissue'd touch down
in a new universe.

'Never too late, never in vain'
thought a subtle, good natured arachnid mind
who found heart in a two-legged fangless one's reign
so divine.

"A life is never squandered"
another life pondered
in a good deed, a kindness repaid
perhaps it's just this
how kings and queens are made.
