Premium Member Romeo and Juliet

The love that knows no boundary set by clan;
The clans that know no love except for war;
The flower that dares to bloom, but never can;
This then the story Shakespeare told, in core.
And what the nature of a petty feud?
Where pride replaces peaceful, prosperous life;
Where little things as mountains are construed,
And things far greater die within its strife.
How might a lesser quill have writ the tale?
One family good, the other dripping ill;
The timeless lie, the righteous must prevail;
And happiness the final act to fill.
But not these things, you had much more to say:
And that is why we think of you today.

‘Romeo, Romeo! Wherefore art thou Romeo?‘
(Romeo and Juliet, Act 2, Scene 2)
By Shakespeare

that night they were to meet
but Romeo got cold feet

on Valentines Day
he went away

Romeo was afraid to commit
because he would have to submit

her sweet exterior
hid her real demeanor

she passed herself as shy and sweet
but he knew he would take a back seat

so, he sent her a short letter
saying “I’m outta here!”

Oh Juliet

Loving you
with all my heart
the distance creeping in

With each tryst
creating space
your vision growing thin

The more I try
to hold you close
the more you slip away

Until I’m left
alone again
— in passion’s yesterday

Star-Crossed Cat Love

A domestic Manx, hopes torn stream and tossed
Pines and purrs for a stray cat so very lost
Their souls ache with delight
Through the screen door at night
A true love forbidden at a heartbreaking cost

Ocean-Poem by Juliet Tun maybe and David IOS Developer

Seaside cottage
Laguna Beach
Nectarine colored coral reefs
Gardens by the sand.

June Desserts-Poem by Juliet Tun maybe and David IOS Developer

The meadow lake glistening blue
The evening sunlight lilac beam
Blueberry sundaes a blue true
June desserts, we’re a team.

Premium Member The Emotions Of Romeo And Juliet

The emotions of Romeo & Juliet,
always bold from the start;
Blessed to feel so deeply,
no matter the distress;

Make no mistake the heart does suffer;

Simply breathing is barely living,
to think some are okay with that;
Barely touched and I moan,
tortured but at least I burn;

Make no mistake writers do suffer;

Being a magnet pulled to a soul
understanding why you give in
but can never give up;
This is more than a word conjured up;

Make no mistake the word ‘Love’,
could never describe it enough;

The swing for the fences nature
of Romeo and Juliet,
feeling too much to think of anything else;

Always a fire within their gut;
Make no mistake
star-crossed mirrors the passion of a poet;
Make no mistake there is nothing sweeter.

       Such deep, impassioned, love
       startles our mortal ways.
       Could we possibly have that
       same eternal love?
       Flowing in our souls and blood,
       and being blind, make light of it?

       How blessed, how young, how
       fortunate,lovers they!
       To refuse on this fetid earth to stay.
       And of poison did imbibe and hence
       dance forever in a moonlit sky.,

       Willing to live in eternity, together. oh!
       Not a beautiful flower, nor a stunning
       sunset, no!
       Could keep them here, why, on this so
       controlling a place!

       Be still this night and you will hear their
       enchanting and bubbling laughter..
       It whispers in trees, eternally, day and
       night, a fortnight and foreverafter.

Dearest Juliet

What is faith
but a journey
What is time
but a moment
What is truth
but a figment
What is love
— but goodbye

He yearned for a modern Romeo moment - but she lived on tenth floor.

Lover Cheating-Poem by Juliet Tun Maybe and David IOS Developer Alias Italian Dave ChapelleMaybe

My love where have you gone?
My face like snow that’s white
He touched my face that night
He said it lit like light.

You have betrayed me lover
I’ll never be your other
So, so long my friend.

Premium Member Oh, Romeo

"From forth the fatal loins of these two foes,
A pair of star cross'd lovers take their life,
Whose misadventur'd piteous overthrows
Doth with their death bury their parents' strife."
— Prologue, Romeo and Juliet

As teens, they were told you’re too young
Time passed and they both were married
Another vowed they were among
Lovers who stole hearts once buried

Time passed and they both were married
Like this might mend the wounds within
Lovers who stole hearts once buried
Bygones could tell of pain that’s been

Like this might mend the wounds within
Where battles left them so forlorn
Bygones could tell of pain that’s been
As they stayed in darkness to mourn

Where battles left them so forlorn
Star-crossed lovers - hear hearts breaking
As they stayed in darkness to mourn
The feelings felt were earthshaking

Star-crossed lovers - hear hearts breaking
Another vowed they were among
The feelings felt were earthshaking
As teens, they were told you’re too young

We talked
Then walked
The stars aligned
Too briefly
Now two fates
Resigned

We hoped
We dreamed
But not to be
The ache
Frustrates
Reality

A senseless joy
When girl
Meets boy
To lose
Un-promised
Hopeful joy

Life is cruel
Life is kind
No guarantee
Of hearts
Designed
To meet

The purpose
Only time
Will tell
It's secret
To this
Living spell

The universe
Is not to blame
We are not pawns
In some
Heavenly
Game

The stars
Burn brightly
For the few
So brief, and yet
Such beauty, true.

Healing waits
And nothing's
Wasted
Just grateful
Briefest love
Was tasted

She warms my heart
I'm not sure how
She lights a fuse
And soon.. kerpow!

My love it swells
Her voice
Like angels' clanging bells

She wakes me up
I feel alive
Her face a feast
On which I thrive

Such lovely jawline
Perfect skin
Her posture
Perfect mannequin

I love her walk
I love her clothing
Find something wrong?
I see no thing

Her curves delight
We chat so long
Into the night

Her arms entwine
Her hands just beauty
In beastly mine

I've never liked someone like this
My heart beat falters
As lips I kiss

Balcony we sit
As shoulders touch
I like this girl
Says boy

So much

You're beautiful, you really are
I could spot you from afar
You must be tired of hearing this
This loop of mine's continuous

But I can't help it, give me time
I'll find some other things to rhyme
Regardless though the fact remains
You're beautiful and that won't change

A flower for my lonely heart
It's never pleasant when we part
At least for me that fact rings true
I could see myself with you

I'm trying now to fix my voice
Lessons, practice, all by choice
If I could just sing melodies
You can take the harmonies

And if it never comes to be
It wasn't wasted time for me
I only want to play with you
And do the things that you do too
