And the Lord will say to them on Judgment Day,
“I was hungry, and you defunded my food aid programs.
I was thirsty, and you rolled back drinking water protections.
I was a stranger, and you snatched me and deported me.
I was naked, and you gave tax breaks to billionaires.
I was sick, and you cut Medicaid and Medicare.
I was in prison, and you gave me no due process.”

And the self-righteous will ask him,
“Lord, when did we do those things to you?”

The Lord will answer them,
“Whatever you did
to one of the least of these,
brothers and sisters of mine,
you did to me.”

(Paraphrased excerpt from Matthew 25:31-46.)

Judgment Day

~ Judgment Day…
Well when we're kneeling there before the Lord
he won't give a hoot what color's our skin
He'll only care if we've opened our heart
and if'n we had let his love flow in

He'll look fer the cowboy who has stood tall
when he was tempted to go ‘gainst the good
Who was counted on to help his brother
get through their troubles anytime he could

One that prays to God for his guiding hand
so he might help his brother find the way
One that loved his neighbor even though they
look different or had something else to say

The problem it seems we just view the world
in either black, white, yellow, brown or red
But when we have to make that final stand
God won't see our skin but our soul instead

Prodigal Son

PRODIGAL SON

Prodigal son I was
I lived a wayward life
Indeed a promiscuous
A boy with a sinister heart

I didn't respect no one
Nothing to lose, but all to gain
Nor was I scared from anyone
In my young heart it reigned

I lived in the streets
With my friends by my side
I didn't heed to my parents' advise
Nor from the teachers sent by God

In my brood, I was the black sheep
In school, I was the teachers’ antagonist
A bad influence I was branded
To my townspeople, I was bad indeed

I was eighteen when He touched my heart
I was confounded, baffled and dazed
What is this Lord?, I soliloquized
Change! Change! Is what I realized

I prayed to the Lord God
" What should I do my Lord?" I asked
" Be my servant, to me He replied
Then my faith, He concretized and galvanized

I am now teaching the Good Tidings
For men to be saved from impending judgment
From the Lake of Fire on the Day of recompense
That the Kingdom of God they may inherit.

When Gabriel blows his heavenly trumpet
And awakens me from a sound slumbering
When all of our life scrolls are opened up
And the roll is called with loud thundering,
I’m so thrilled that my name is not Aaron
Pleased for the people in the middle like me
Most delighted for my longtime pal, Zebulon,
I’m assuming we’ll be called up alphabetically!

Judgment Day

Across the shadowed lands the old one stood With a look of stone and staff of wood.
Evil stared along the shore where the powers of goodness worked no more.

The cities stood still as people cried for the ones in power had once again lied.
In tales of magic where once shone light
Now stood darkness hatred and night.

Mothers cry and fathers weep we face our end !
We face defeat” !

As demons laugh and the people fall
god save us now, god save us all !,
“For we knew not what we had done until to late
When we had lost the sun on that date”.

“Forgive us our wrongs”
 the old one said,
We should follow the path and join the dead.
As he raised his hands and started to pray,

The demon king screamed

“Its judgement day !“

On Judgment Day
Written: by Miracle Man

Judgment scales won't weigh,
Our hearts good intent.
That's why it's imperative,
That each soul repent.

For relying on good works,
That we've endeavored to give.
Will be as filthy rags, *
 Unless for Jesus we live.

Though we've done good works,
So that others might see.
Where our tree falleth, **
It's there it shall be.

*Isaiah 64:6

Judgment Day

JUDGMENT DAY

Judgment Day came very soon.
The world lined up. There was no room.
The Mighty One in white and gold
spoke to a woman. She was old.
He said, My little one, enter in.
We all love you. We are your friends.
Many rewards I have for you.
To me, you always were so true.
Your life is now an open book
where all can come and carefully look.
Your tears lie wetting every page.
They mark the place where you did age.
No one will come to judge you now.
So stand up, child, and take your bow.
The little woman looked surprised.
And many a tear fell from her eyes.
For to her, her life was sinful and wrong.
But to God, her humility made her strong.
No one is perfect in this old world.
But I often think of that little girl.
The best is not good enough for God.
But the worst deserves not the Master's rod.
For mercy is better than all the fine gold
anyone can have or hold.
And kindness is worth all that life can bestow.
In Heaven, no kindnesses ever grow old.
I awoke from that dream, but I knew from the start
God only judges the intent of the Heart.
