It's judgment day with Henry Smith
He's sick of all your music
You've gotta stop that reggae drop
His radio's polluted
It's judgment day, he's sick of it!
Those Gothic pale faces
Those people think they own themselves!
He'll put them in their places!
And poets with your gangster rap
Reform your tilted hats!
You speak your mind and Henry smith
Has had enough of that!
You punk rockers, he's had ENOUGH!
Change up those things you wear
It isn't right! YOU HAVE NO RIGHT!
To smile and spike your hair
But judgment day, it came and went...
Good gracious me! What luck!
Henry Smith, he said his piece,
And no one gave a >>>>

Author's note: This poem isn't about anyone in particular, in fact I only used the name Henry Smith because it's common!

I stand here alone, in a room all in black,
Patiently waiting for the gavel to clack;
I don’t get to speak, here at the end,
Persecuted by all, enemy and friend;
They speak of the deeds now tied to my name,
And all I can do is shudder in shame;
I’m here at the trial at the end of my life,
And each testimony cuts like a knife;
I can’t even explain, my deeds say it all,
I await my judgment and try to stand tall;
I was petty, held grudges, and committed mass crime,
And didn’t do productive things with my time;
Six feet below my body is entombed,
And I know deep down my fate is now doomed,
And all I can do I is silently pray,
That God grants me mercy on this solemn day;
The jury is in, they hold my life in their hands,
All I can do is hope He understands;
“Cleared of all charges” the verdict now reads,
My soul once damned is now to be freed;
He granted forgiveness for all of my sins,
Allowing my soul to begin again.

For some, final justice of the last day here on Earth
For some it is a day that they always dread
We all have our ideas on how that day will be
The last account of our final worth
The day that last judgment is read
One could say it is the final decree
I for one, think it will be a short hearing for all
No fancy courthouses and lawyers running around
Just the defendant and The Man Upstairs
Some waiting for the final ball to fall
Heads hanging down looking at the ground
Others knowing that he has answered all of their prayers
I envision, a trap door and an elevator where we stand
No long speeches, just testimony taken
The Judge know what we are going to say before we get there
For some the trap door, others The Promise Land
For some elevator music, others will be forsaken
It will be his way, fair and square
Some will try to pull the wool over God's eyes on last time
Thinking that they have a judge in every pocket
remember now it is by His Book
He is The Judge and knows every crime
Because that day we will all be on his docket
It will give one a last chance to take another look
Around the world every second people will die
And that day God does not have time to listen to another lie from you
Tell it right or be on your way
That is the day that we all see God eye to eye
But again that is all up to you
And that is why they call it JUDGMENT DAY

As surely as there is order in the universe,
Brutes against humanity must make account.
All that is atrocious, criminal, and perverse
They must confess and shamefully recount.
On earth some escaped the justice they owed
Using every tactic forged in the criminal mind.
Their consciences were absent or slowed.
But the Master knows them and their kind.
On a looming, pruning judgment day
Their barbarous actions they will confess.
Though justice delivered has met delay,
Know that God in His time will redress.

Alone will all stand, void of lawyers or mentors
no person will escape from the best orators
chance has no chance, gone is the period of options
human deeds are displayed for reckoning to auction
heaven and hell seated and ready to suction
a judge is on the throne not an arbitrator
who condemns to everlasting pain on any traitor.

(I can't vouch for anything about the afterlife, but I like to think this is true)
How does the soul enter heaven?
I think first of all one must ask
if the soul goes directly to heaven.
Going elsewhere may first be their task.
For theology learned in my childhood,
I think souls go first to a place
where they wait for the day of great judgment,
and old loved ones are there to embrace.
Yes, waiting in a new dimension,
I think are our dearly departed,
and in this place I believe
are souls basically good-hearted.
Souls truly evil go elsewhere -
to some type of prison where they
will wait, suffering for their sins
until the great judgment day.
I think that, in fact, all will suffer
some guilt for the pain they caused others,
but those, by God’s grace, who repented,
go straight with good sisters and brothers.
The most righteous souls to the Father
will later assuredly go
while only the very most wicked
will go with the devils below.
I do not believe in a fire
where souls go to endlessly burn.
It’s where we deserve to be that we’ll go.
Until judgment day, all wait their turn.

PRODIGAL SON
Prodigal son I was
I lived a wayward life
Indeed a promiscuous
A boy with a sinister heart
I didn't respect no one
Nothing to lose, but all to gain
Nor was I scared from anyone
In my young heart it reigned
I lived in the streets
With my friends by my side
I didn't heed to my parents' advise
Nor from the teachers sent by God
In my brood, I was the black sheep
In school, I was the teachers’ antagonist
A bad influence I was branded
To my townspeople, I was bad indeed
I was eighteen when He touched my heart
I was confounded, baffled and dazed
What is this Lord?, I soliloquized
Change! Change! Is what I realized
I prayed to the Lord God
" What should I do my Lord?" I asked
" Be my servant, to me He replied
Then my faith, He concretized and galvanized
I am now teaching the Good Tidings
For men to be saved from impending judgment
From the Lake of Fire on the Day of recompense
That the Kingdom of God they may inherit.

Bio
It was 06H30 Am on the faithful day
of November 2010,
I was directed to Bread & Milk Street
in Hell Kitchen,
when I enter the house,
I made a horrifying discovery,
Dick Squatpump was shot and killed
at his home in Bastardstown, Hell Kitchen.
An autopsy found he sustained 27 puncture wounds
and one gunshot wound,
with the bullet found in his left cheek.
According to the Surveillance footage,
the suspect was identified as Jackass Hill,
his genetic signature come to light from the
a bloody left palm print with Jackass Hill`s
DNA on the bathroom wall.
His DNA was also found in hair recovered from a bloody wall,
He was apprehended at Dead Man's Walk Street,
at Bump Ugliest Pass.
Jackass Hill was a disturbed individual,
"Cold, calculating and devious"
with a mountain of criminal records.
He admits that he was the killer,
the jury convicted Jackass Hill of first-degree murder,
in March 2011 and he is serving a life sentence,
at the Top-Security Underwater Facility,
in Hide The Sausage Bridle-Path.
The town of Hell Kitchen gets back to life again.

have you seen a summers eve
where calm comes over every man
where creatures lay in disbelief
and darkness covers all the land
the rumble of the distant clouds
stumbles to the sandy shores
disbelievers search this town
only to find its empty stores
mountains crawl to valleys low
while serpents slither to kings cross
judgment day is here to show
this earth we know is finally lost
leave your homes to follow god
let yourself transcend to space
unless your soul is drenched in fraud
then hell awaits with open gates

You can judge me but you have not walked in my shoes
You can judge me but you cannot do what I do
You can judge me but take a look in the mirror before you speak
You can judge me but i guarantee you I am not weak
