Today is your birthday
And I’m proud of you
Heart of gold you make
Joyful dreams a truth

Man of courage compassion
I love you very much son
Chocolate man of passion
A special intelligent one
Happy God blessed me so

Jones is your given name
Onyx hair and brilliant goals
Never change a single thing
Every prayer was like a dare
Saw God bless you to dream

A Message From the Past

I want this message from the past
When things like you're hearing now are illegal
When it's totally clear what you face
I want you to know if you don't resist
It will get worse
It's not going to get better
You will realize that you're the leaders
You will realize that it's up to you to act
This is my message to the future.
You don't have a choice
The attacks they launched against you
Herding you into the cities
Every few years a more horrific event
You have got to spread the word
Everyone will see the truth
You're in lock down prison cities
I'm speaking to the secret police of the future
Your families are dying from the bio weapons
You're dying from the engineered cancers
That information is restricted to you now
In our time we were able to access that information
Before it had been erased

"I know many of you in the future will be emotionless
Because of the vaccines
They attacked the areas of your brain
Associated with endorphin absorption"

Many of you have been lobotomized
I'm sorry that we didn't fight hard enough
I'm sorry that we didn't do everything we could
I want you to know we tried...

Mrs Gladys Allsopp Jones goes to the Beach

In her sixties now Gladys dreaded the cold,
She travelled to the beach trying to be bold,
She went because it might be fun, she was told.
Gladys said she would not swim she was far too old.

There were gentle ladies with dark glasses on,
They were telling rowdy children to begone,
The sand was warm and the glorious Sun shone,
Gladys sat there like a sad queen on her throne.

Mountains around gave views that went forever,
The sky was light blue a sign of good weather,
The children throw sand failing to be clever,
But Gladys said no she would not swim ever.

Near the river people had cake and white bread,
They had beef and pork, “hurrah” the children said,
Some drank wine and sang when they were all fed,
Gladys said no she would rather go to bed.
Gladys was left quite alone on her cane chair,
She began talking to the warm midday air,
I should swim in the sea but I do not dare,
My grey hair would get wet but I would not care.

For the longest time she stared at the wild sea,
Wondering why she was so afraid to be,
Was her life long enough for validity?
Some come to the beach to cocoon and be free,
Others come to escape their life’s misery.

Just like George Jones when
He Stopped Loving Her,
death, the only thing that could occur
To enact what only this loss could secure
(Killing the love he had for her)

I've counted and underlined in red
each time an “I love you” was said

Until the pages, written in blue ink
Resembled nothing more I think

Than a passionate patriotic prose
Red white and blue superimposed

Over words of love and promises not kept
Sprinkled liberally with the tears I've wept

For you were not nearly as noble as
That great country singer gentleman
For whom only his untimely death can
Erase his love and promises.

All it took for you, Great Lout,
Was a younger face and lips that pout
They always say that sin will out
One who for others don't care about
And the keeping of your word you flout

So although now I know the truth
I act more like George than I care to do
How I wish that I could forget you too
For all these letters I won't send to you
Are filled with my love in red white and blue.

He's a bassist,
not a drummer,
a naval hero,
not a plumber -
John Paul Jones.

Love Jones

Before my first kiss or chivalrous embrace
A throbbing pulse in my heart started to race
Sweetly, my love for you began to grow
Knickerbockers I love to watch and I never miss The Lake
     Show
Every time I see you, inhale you and hold you in my hands
This sweet sensation I feel most will never understand
Baseball is cool and I like the 'old pig skin'
An all-American pastime that warms my heart and makes
     me grin
Love Jones I got for this beautiful brown round thing
Love Jones I got it, and it's not just some fly-by fling

Love jones, love jones. I’ve got a love jones for that guy.
Obsessing over him both day and night am I,
Visualizing him with me, we’re flying in the sky.
Effervescent I’d be feeling (were it true). I’d be on a high!

Jazzy music playing – we’d next be dancing slow,
Only he and I together in a sensual tango.
No one else is on my mind. Oh, I want him so!
Every little thing about him makes my fondness grow.
Sugared kisses from that sweet boy - how I wish I’d come to know.

Love Jones

A flame sparked by heat of passion
Went wild with mutual motion
One versed with words, one with beauty
First sight, sapped the fruit of bounty

But love's spark is complicated
Some limbs bruised, some dislocated
Where true faith is the test of love
Some hearts can go wild like a dove

The heart must make its rightful choice
It must listen to its true voice
Regrets can't make the time come back
For, day is bright and night is dark
