My lighted island,
Hidden somewhere behind the red rocks,
Somewhere between the jingling of bangles
As I reach out to you.
My lighted island,
Lies behind the rusted walls of the blue city,
Among the trembling of my long earrings.
My lighted island,
Winks at me from the colors of the bustling market,
I find it in the strong scent of fish,
In the muffled noise that swallows us whole.
My island,
Is the color of my skirt’s folds in the wind,
Imaginative as a dance,
And warm as mint tea.
Here comes the jingle jangle man
Who struts and swaggers he is his biggest fan
He doesn’t want anyone to be
Better than he himself you do see
He schemes at things behind your back
Don’t tell him your secrets or he will hack
Them making you look bad
In the end you’ll feel sad
As he walks with hands in pockets
Jingle jangle hear the racket
Take heed of his noise then
Don’t converse thinking he is a friend.

Tripping through the sand
In a pair of Aussie thongs,
Boogie board in hand
Singing Aussie songs.
Davo’s got the beer.
Out of kiddies reach
What a day we’re gonna to have
It’s Christmas on the beach.
Oh, Christmas time, Christmas time
Christmas by the shore
A good old Aussie Christmas.
It’s Christmas time once more
The sun is very hot.
There is no shade around
so we gather up our stuff
And move to higher ground.
We settle neath the trees.
In a folding metal chair
Plenty shade, but there’s no breeze
But really, we don’t care
Oh Christmas time, Christmas time
All the family’s here
To celebrate our Christmas
Like we do every year
Davo came by car.
With Marie John and Jane
Granny from afar
She came by aeroplane
Joe lives up the street.
He brought his wife and kids
And even in this awesome heat,
They wouldn’t miss for quids
Oh, Christmas time, Christmas time
Christmas without snow
We love our Aussie Christmas.
It really is a show
Oh, Christmas time Christmas time
Christmas is a ball
We love our Aussie Christmas
Here’s Joy to one and all.
I don't seem to know
the right words I want to say;
you're all set to go
but I hope you'll stay.
Please take back your ring
I will make things right;
believe me, she was but a fling,
I played the fool last night.
[Chorus]
It's all my fault, all my fault;
my fault all the way,
I'm so sorry that I lied;
now I’ll regret it every day.
All my fault, all my fault
my fault all the way;
I'm so sorry that I lied;
I’ll regret it every day.

In the forest where the trees glow,
Shimmering stars shine, a stunning show.
Mesmerizing marvels in an idyllic, calm flow,
Cheerful gifts gathered gently in a row.
Blanketed children in wonder and cheer,
Gingerbread cookies, sweet flavors near.
Iced in crimson, green, festive atmosphere,
Sprinkles of joy as Santa draws near.
A sleigh with bells that jingle and run,
We gather as families, our hearts are full of fun.
Celebrating traditions, our spirits as one,
In the warmth of the holiday, we bask in the sun.
Shimmering ivory pearls in moonbeams,
Gentle lullabies that soothe all our dreams
Chalked memories drift in a crystalline stream,
In hopes that our love will forever gleam.
Though jaded vials may drip with despair,
We find elixirs of hope in the air.
Sick veins may quiver, dreams still ensnare,
As impending fate reminds us we care.
Jingle bells jingle bells
Santa's turning gay.
Rudolph isn't happy
for he has to pull the sleigh.
In fact he's really worried
and he's made it very clear.
What he wants is some protection
to protect his derryair.
He's now seeking legal advice
hoping to find a clause.
For he doesn't want to be rear ended
by a randy old Santa Claus.
Do you have skeletons in your closet
I have a few in mine …
They jingle, jangle, jingle

Single cell, single cell, single cell lock
Single cells king and single cells bring
Throwin' and blowin' few pushers of some
Now the single chop has begun
Single cell, single cell, single cell lock
Single cells mime is a single cells crime
Family Charles Manson Electrical Chair
With the Folgers there
What a bright time, gettin' brighter time
To light them right away
Single cell time is a swell time
To go die-in' in a gun force play
Pretty-up Twinkie source, beefed up you cheat
Tinkle on all the locks
Fixed and single and sweet in defeat
That's the single cell mock
[Repeats]
I’m gonna jingle into Christmas
Gonna shimmy with delight
Like the bells that ring in christmas
on that Not So Silent Night
When I jingle into Christmas
They’ll be no bells that can compare
Every single sound of Christmas
gonna decorate the air
Not just your arms and wrists must
But your toes and fingers too
When you jingle into Christmas
Jingle every part of you
Why not shimmy jingle with us
Let your body just believe
You can jingle into Christmas
We can start on Christmas Eve!
Jingle Bells
Jingle bells, Jingle bells,
Which way did Santa go?
I have not seen his sleigh tonight
Is he lost in mist and snow?
I have not heard his reindeer,
The chimney has been cleaned,
There’s mince pies in the fireplace
For Covid was he screened?
We have left an Argos voucher
To buy a brand new sleigh
And Rudolph’s got a Sat Nav
To help him on his way.
Jingle bells, Jingle bells
Which way did Santa go
Will he be here tonight,
Does anybody know?

I know that some say it is wrong.
"It makes Christmas season too long"
To hear Jingle Bells played
Before Autumn can fade,
But I don't know one Thanksgiving song!

Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Jingle all the way!
I never sang the song until
I wrote my own today.
Jingle bells, jingle bells,
The road is still too long.
My horse is strong it carries on
While dancing to my song.
Jingle bells, jingle bells,
As darker grows the night.
While the night keeps being dark
My horse becomes too white.
Jingle bells, the jingling bells
While Cupid leads the way.
I shall meet my beauteous love
At the dawn of day.
There is no time for stopping.
We'll keep on through the woods.
My horse will keep on going
Despite its changing moods.
Jingle bells I sing my song
As darker grows the night.
The morning near on where the sun
Will set the road alight.
Jingle bells, the jingling bells
Will jingle all the way.
I never sang the song until
I wrote my own today.
