As Innocence Changes

If innocence is as observed by me,
A carefree behavior is all we see.
In Its presence we know not, right from wrong,
And we will soon learn, and it won’t take long.

In youth it appears when we’re having fun.
Innocence has faces, there’s more than one.
We see the changes as we run and play.
Living life changes us, day

Innocense

I remember feeling inadequate, but I also remember the fierceness I felt, 
That out of all the people surrounding me, I wasn't meant to protect anyone else, 
I felt completely ridiculed, but the feeling that I felt was so strong, 
God told me I want you to remain silent, while I loved you all along,

A betrayal of innocense

Youth is a deep,
                   colorful green as part of the most verdant life.

A baby's pure thoughts 
whiteness of lamb's wool 
a brides modesty

Philosophying

I wonder, have we come to the end?
     The world in chaos, in downward trend.
Is this all of our beautiful tale?
     There's magic to ponder and regale.
Icarus led us so close we burned?
     That's a lesson needing to be learned.

My Twin In the Water

A boy looked in a river free
God has been merciful to me

His shimmering twin did he see

With life, it said “Greetings Mani”

I saw the saving mystery
God has been merciful to me

It starts with a quivering lip
threads a touch from patches
to little swatches of fabric from
various phases various places of us
the first shirt you gave me
off your very back
was gray with a cartoon face
the hat from your kinky head black
and I use a piece of that
the jeans that romanticized everything
on that patch you asked
me to be

I Know

I know, I did some bad things
But are they enough to judge me?

I know, I broke some rules
But am I born to follow anything?

I know, I told some lies
But the innocence never thought of the bee's sting

I know, I have a gray part in my life
But my sun will shine even in a moonless night...

Flower of Life

That seed from the sperm
Germinates from the soil of the womb in its term
Till time is up, the seed remains calm and fragile
The nurturing and maturing outburst it into stem and leaves so fragile
In innocence and cry, springs the young to this unknown mystery

Preciouse is the smile
of an innocent child

Sweet is the melody
of a childs giggles set free

The innocent and care free years
should be sweetest and not filled with tears

Yet so many children only know
abuse and fear and hunger as they grow
