You captured Monet well, Thriveni. However, the line "beating hearts wade used" is a bit obscure in reference for my understanding - what did you mean by this?

Ah, the value of punctuation. Now it makes sense. It is quite a lovely metaphor. :) .

Thank you for your kind visit dear poet. There are two rowboats in the foreground. For them this glory of nature is often lost, routine sometimes hurries up appreciative gazing, they get so used to it like some sensory adaptation (eg ticking of clock in daytime) so I put that 'beating hearts wade - used I was not sure of punctuation there so I didn't mark one. I am so honored by your question, I am grateful to you for your precious time. Thank you dear poet. You just made my day.

I agree with Monet! Likewise maybe you’ll read my poem “Before I Ruin the View.” I wrote it this week, after getting back from a lakehouse we rented. Love that you wrote on similar subject.
