AMNIOTIC FLUID
I am your amniotic fluid
imbibe me
I am your amniotic fluid
I nourish you
implode me
impetuously
lengthen laugh strengthen
through me
master thighs
thyroid open palms
create hips high
or low
lingering
touch bones bygone
birthing
within my dantien
dome
Source sparkles spice
from rice roses
rubies
I am your
amniotic
fluid muse
mould mysteriously
myself
gold goblets silver
spiral slivers
soft
exploring explanations
exploding
ecstasy
exists
endlessly

They tease me,
Vying for my attention
Behind the bakery display case.
Voluptuous, some bursting with fruit,
The brazen, the coquettish,
They tease me.
Which to pick?
The Austrian strudel or Danish
Vying for my attention?
Impetuously taking her
In my car, from
Behind the bakery display case.

The hardest losses
are those too late to repair
what has been win/win time lost
to despair
Just as love
cannot co-arise
where fear grows
fully uprisen
a prison
predicting anger's nearby
impetuously apprised
surprise.
So too,
Freedom cannot thrive
where addiction has hard helped
us feel we are not softly worthy
to survive
"Loser" labelled struggles
with addiction
cannot feel free of affliction
nor can giving in
to addiction's short-term affections,
powers to feel escape
from personal
and communal,
economic
and political,
monocultural
and monotheistic
OverPowers
Social judgment,
blame
and shame,
co-detachment
non-communication
developing hard
stiffly cold silent screaming
excommunication
Depressing loneliness
isolation
self-ostracization issues
win/lose closeted
fear-based shame defenses
against Old School GoldenRule
loss of co-invested love
offenses
Against spirited natural
nondualistic redemptions
restorations
of win/win historical

indigenously sacred regenerations.

They pierce the unwelcoming night,
perserving eyes that receive nothing
but an unwholesome darkness,
hot accelerated breath scorches the
freezing air, as it penetrates
in entirety her raffish body while a
shivering anatomy provokes an age
of innocence, yet a stark awareness
of life’s tribulations, as she tucks in
her scarf, fastens her top button
before impetuously walking off into
the shadows to confront her next trick.

To Find God
“Where can we find God?”
Impetuously, they ask.
—The dead can’t find God.
“How will we find God?”
They persist as if righteous.
—You won’t, God finds you.
“How high shall we climb?”
They at the bottom question.
—'Til you reach heaven.
Naively they rest
Believing God will rescue.
Satan stalks the flock.

How mysterious a force is intrigue - a poet's plight and salvation, a magnet of unyielding supernatural bliss to our muse. Captivating and drawing us to our mastery of mystery, impetuously impelling us as we patronize our exquisite enigma. We hold our breath to unique and incredible realities as its momentum baits and beckons in a spontaneous burst of exuberant fixation to navigate our tangible senses and eager heart - compelling our revelation to travel through our portal of questions to superimpose our being with magical poetic discourse.

From tumultuous discussions within
images strive for life as a new-born
child wriggles from the womb.First
an outline,then in silhouette,each
unique line,a perceptible signature,so
individual and more personal than
a diary.This spontaneity impetuously
releases the extrovert upon this page,
squeezed out as rain in an arid world.
Artistic inspiration writes itself, as
I merely provide the pen

Echoes of their squalling,
finally interferes with my slumber.
Opening my eyes,
to see the pensive faces of the ladened.
And my ears,
to the ear-splitting shrill of the piteous.
Showing me their greatest fears,
Slowing becoming reality before their eyes.
I have seen for myself,
brothers smothering one another.
As a new era seeks recognition,
Iniquity impetuously taking its position.
Tardily becoming the order of the day.
Shortly to be a disease we cannot contain.

I returned to our farmstead last autumn
on the driveway where I kicked marbles
and plucked brambles catching my gaze-
Now overgrown at sixty-two
horse wagons filled the blank spaces
of my remembered landscape...
I walked like a ghost looking for dear home,
but found this lofty edifice
ridiculing, mocking me from its skylight--
The dogwood trees Grandma nurtured
now impetuously ravaged and gnarled,
casting shadows on translucent mirrors--
past her dream of a lush orchard,
that my eyes lingered through a heap
for treasures, hoping to discover
a piece of yesterday's laughter,
among the junk of ancestral, broken wood.

One night, I stumbled impetuously in what seems like a market
Where gargoyles and gangrenes were sold in secret and hidden places
I watched the seller closely and a gelded man! I saw signs of
Pity, I felt for him until he started hinting at shooting cupid's arrow at me
What an irony! I said to myself until I found out that I was lost in the market of gargoyles and gelded men!!!

Instead of reasoning
I yield to a sudden
irresistible urge.
Impetuously, with
impunity I risk
injury. Am I an
idiot or hero?

I have an illustrious dream,
want to be Leonard
Cohen's gypsy wife,
he's kissing my lips on
Boogie Street,
impetuously we dance
to the end of love
'til closing time
midst his secret life,
he serenades me with
I'm your man
when we take Manhattan,
bewildered by his poetic beauty
waiting for the miracle to happen,
a sip of wine, a cigarette
in love we disappear,
here it is, you got me singing
be that dog in heat,
I'll take this waltz and
another please, cause
everybody knows
I hunger for your touch,
his famous blue raincoat
and the dew on my thigh
goes a thousand kisses deep
in the cave at the tip of the lily
with its very own breath of brandy,
slipping into the masterpiece
where Lenny is eternal
If you don't love Leonard Cohen's poetry and music, it probably won't make much sense.

Morning smiles and there we move forward
Into the sunrise, gazing lovingly
My mind does a relentless flash toward
To your lips smiling quite impulsively
You then squeeze your warm hand in alliance
And your mind wants to till earth vividly
As I appreciate your bright vibrance
In the air that cools you impetuously
You cultivate the shy spring flowers
That would excite a garden's statuettes
Your strength in agrarian willpower
Follows light into mighty golden sunsets
This quest for your nature remains spacious
While the new sensations grow in stages

We stage a dazing drama
Impetuously unfolding with scenes
Spelled by our minds and moods
Where all things happen
With the scripts discarded
We watch keenly a curious comedy
Everyone scheming for greased palms
Gone...when the rules were without exceptions
When shady kingpins bow to Justicia
And their sizzling sleaze unraveled
Now justicia sick of sightlessness
And has sold herself for Greek gifts
For the nuts of political juggernauts
We see strange scenes
Consciences sold out for their bellies
Easily welshing on their ideals
Mooching to munch around god-fathers
Who at pleasure push them around like pointless pawns
And who are they not to play their proprietors' tunes
Or dance to their rhythm?
We stage a tangled tale
A show of shame
Mindlessly becoming butts of jokes
Before our curious children
And validating ourselves with laughable excuses

Strolling,
We encounter
Fragrant dappled apples,
Low-hanging and creating an
Archway
Passing
Underneath trees,
Inhaling fruits’ sweetness,
Impetuously you give me
Kisses
Holding
One another
In afternoon’s sunlight,
Blissfully by murmuring wind
Caressed
Sparrows
Serenade us
Until finally we
Are enveloped by autumnal
Twilight
