~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
cracked eggshell whispers~
golden yolk spills like sunrise
over linen folds.
empty tomb hums,
a hymn in hollowed limestone.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Peeling columns stand~
whispering verdicts of dust
through my cracked windows.
The gavel’s ghost still echoes
in the hollows of our laws.

               ************

In the hush-hollowed fold
of trembling being,
near the threshold
where daylight unthreads,
a lone verge
quivers luminous,
softened fervor
breathes.

Along the tangled rise
of fractured reverie,
spiraling yearning
tilts through muted currents,
a hidden interior
claimed uncarved
beneath dimming drift,
awaiting.

Across a barren span
the closing surge
stirs from within,
summoned toward
complete convergence
with boundless waters;
the last motion
rests in exalted quiet,
listening.

Immersed, overtaken
by dawn’s faint palette,
hunger sketches
unending mirage,
imprinting ceaseless outflow
that bears a radiant essence
toward a harbor of calm,
imagined.

Hollowed Home

My fingers have become numb from writing about my pain, this notebook has become my solitude, something to keep me sane.
My soul feels so thin and on the verge of empty, caused by the hurt of all those that left me.
Maybe I'll find some place where I can feel the warmth again, but my question is not only where but also when?
Maybe I should accept this sad, hollowed home, a place I've grown to hate and always feel so alone.

HOLLOWED

In hollowed gaze of stone n sky
Faces stares wide—unblinking
Eyes holds the weight of ruin
Silent, swollen n echoes of time

A needle of diagnosed, poised, fleeting?
A thread of fate?
Or weapons against the void?

Pillars stand silently sentinel
Crumbled a world once aloud
Once flesh, now dust, blown…

An eye, unyielding
Drinks in the eternity
Life clings to the debris

A spiral deepens, pulling all beneath
Cracks in fractal, monument
Something lingers
Something we cannot forget

Turning, a slow descent
Toward the end of all things
Or perhaps
…a beginning unseen.

Stoic she sits
As an oyster lacking a grain of sand
No Pearl of Great Price or wisdom to share.

Stoic she sits
A smile adorns her face while we hold hands,
Bereft of thought and without words to spare.

Stoic she sits
Cloudy sapphire eyes show nary a care.
Oblivion’s glide left her a blank stare.

Stoic she sits
Time’s wrinkles scribe not the soft silken face
Of the hollowed woman who remains there.
Stoic I sit

In Hollowed Eyes

All along the wind-swept streets
vacant windows stare
like ancient statues of stone
eyes blaring
where they stand in their site
hollow faces cracked façades
as ancient buildings pass
night has come
a chill is here at last
along the vacant roads
of a vast city in sleep
stretching out into the unknown
not a soul of this world turns
but eyes unknown stare
like vacant windows along
a windswept street
like eyes of a statue, blind
standing in hollowed eyes
blind in sight
a scene
all in a different light
as neon pulses and flickers
waiting to die
as gloom
lingers in windows
faces float ghostly
across a vacant city
in its deepest sleep.

In the Hollowed Hush of Heaven

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oLCHXfkGOIw
In the hollowed hush of heaven the whisper of a soul
and in the lit up room of stars an angel's karmic face
Two feathered wings aloft deliverance her goal
while one is seized on earth, the other portal graced

An otiose moon assembled a duty of the night
shadows of the 5th dimension casting in the light
prying dreams of splendor identity of life
immortal as the sun her beauty, sharp as knife

Relinquishing the feel of metal grates and pain
she soon portends her destiny before she goes insane
we need to catch that train she whispers in her ear
and suddenly she's up floating without fear

In the hollowed hush of heaven, an angel talks to God
while a stretcher is removed, the sky turns white to chalk
two feathers wings of might she doesn't need a prod
volte faced attuned and free she flies, to new EPOC.

Step
by step,
the current
of the life flow,
we imbibe gently,
adding to it, flavour,
as we may be joy enabled.
Attentive mindfulness beholds
happenings without expectation,
responding with hues of love prismatic.

Mind-body an instrument magnetised,
both within and without thus vibrant,
lower aspects in love dissolved,
detached and free of desire,
erect and free of fear,
essence of presence
vibrant with bliss,
joy unbound,
outpours
love.

Amongst Hollowed Out Trees

Dreamt I heard your screams within hollowed out trees
Wind shifted direction with tickle of a sneeze
Thought I heard you whisper with the warm gentle breeze
Suddenly was strong enough to get up off my knees
Found myself chasing whimsical dancing leaves
Floating to a creek bed where tranquil waters have yet to seize
Radiating sun reflecting rippled clouds mind is set at ease
Attention gravitated toward the song of sweet playful chickadees
Your name trapped on my tongue with most tasteful of memories
For brief moment heart sways to echoes of long lost melodies

Sacrifice bliss
For a momentary kiss
It's the point you miss

Your memory fades
And feelings recede from my fingertips

Blessed light, blessed night
The passion burnt out
There is precision in a nightmare
But not for you, not for you

They call me an empty dreamer
Because I can't catch a firefly

Don't you dare look away from me

Sacrifice bliss
For a momentary kiss
It's the point you miss

You cleverly smirk
And righteousness dies in my heart

Blessed me, blessed she
A perfunctory performance
There is indecision in passion
But not for me, not for me

They call me an empty lover
Because I can't catch your heart

Please don't look away from me

Sacrifice bliss
For a momentary kiss
It's the point you miss

Your love was once held hallow
But now I see your love
Was simply hollow

Simply hollow, simply hollow

You always did look away from me

Sacrifice bliss
For a momentary kiss
It's the point you miss

You never really saw me to begin with

At the core of a hollow is a hole
a void of emptiness
that only exists
because its surroundings
are something solid,
with something hallowed,
missing within.

A Hollowed Out Tree

Living inside the base of a hollowed out tree
since childhood, my dreams have been formed

Living inside a space where the walls almost touched
kept me hidden, protected, and warm

Living inside a place that no others could see
beyond privacy, I became lost in myself

Living inside the base of a hollowed out tree
—where boyhood memories and wishes still dwell

My Hollowed Remains

My shattered core in pieces on the floor,
As a rug, tattered and torn.

Please close the door, the spectacle is not yours.
The decay of an eaten apple core.
Still... You search for more.

The vultures have already came,
Leaving only putrid stains...
And a few hollowed bones that
might make a nice picture frame...

Hollowed

I live in New York, and I am a New Yorker, And I am also...a worker. I close the door to my house, and begin walking, I turn on my cellphone, and start talking. I look to my left and look to my right, Always trying to keep those cars in sight. I come to the first light, and I cross the street As rats scurry below my feet. I kick at them, and try to get them off my shoes. But they don't even have a clue, And that's when I knew...I look up and see A car coming straight at me.I guess I am lucky, I didn't feel him even pass me. I start walking again And keep on chatting. But cant hear my friend Yacking. And then all of these people, rushed past me? I turn around to see where their all going. Oh the h*** with that, I'll just go back. And there I was, Jack! I have all these things start going off in my head. Oh my God, Am I dead?
