Beneath bruised blue, yet my soul soars —
While weary winds waning, I prance past pain —
Bees buzz bring dazzling delight—
Dreams dance; at daybreak dewy descend —
Sly stars shine, in bold breeze
Souls spew sadness; bleeding buds bloom —
Flowered Fall finds halcyon hearts —

Just calmness in form,
A feather of love in the crush.

Our dog stole Dad's sandwich one day
Then strutted around with display

The sandwich was gone anyway

A smartphone lies still by the stream,
Its screen holds a purple-hued dream;
I wander through green,
Nature's tranquil scene,
Where peace flows in steady, bright gleam.

my sandals brush dry grasses
the day's warmth fading
crickets sing of letting go
and i breathe in the new chill

"Go get a room!" quacked the duck in the pond
at two clouds drifting dreamily beyond
They're cuddling in the sky
a beetle chirped nearby
Let them hover—for that bond, they're renowned.

By those amber depths I'm bound,
Crimson sparks on gauzy ground,
Phoenix-wheel sings in my blood—
Sapped, I turn to night.

star

ache

bloom dust

gold sheath sigh

blue dreams sway in dusk

mauve lily hums a revered calm

ruby-lotus aureole threads through memory's web

serendipitous harmony stirs up a mellifluous pot of hush catharsis

amethyst bloom shadows stipple the nighttime memorial, where the endless return breathing pirouette in surreptitious reflection.

stars—maculate, circumspect in their sepalled brilliance—frolicking beyond oncology, beyond every pernicious maelstrom, enticing sapient ache of longing with a wanton yet lucid aplomb that outlasts the night.

Where daffodils in springtime bloom,
As finches trill with joyful sight—
And dragonflies in sunlight loom.

The June breeze whispers soft and low,
Through willow branches, silver-white—
While lilies drift in pond below.

Beneath the summer's golden gaze,
Swallows follow their southern flight—
As the leaves shimmer in the haze.

Then winter winds begin their flow,
And bare trees stand in frost-bound site—
While streams are locked in frost's cold show.

Frost-laden branches bend and gleam,
Shimmering in winter's cold light—
Whilst the town's awakening dreams.
