So bittersweet. Hold on to the memory. Leaves were meaningful to me. As funny as it sounds, certain ones were brought to my attention. Hugs 🌹

Sighhh this just broke my heart ... 💔❤️‍🩹 What a deeply emotive and soul-shattering poem this is, dear Sotto.. I am speechless.. the imagery of autumnal afterglow and the withering leaf .. of maternal warmth.. gosh. "Her hand slips through mine" that left me breathless and filled my heart with tears.. the loss of a parent is truly painstaking and that too, of a mother.. no words or time can truly heal the wound. Such an impeccable take on the contest prompt. Best of luck ~ sending you soothing light and healing starsz ... 🍂🌙💫
