Your spirit comes to read my lines
It shines within the images of yours
You look after the two of us
In silent eloquence, it grows
Like the blue hyacinths that bloom
In spring, I think it was last year
And there we sit in our room
In time, that cannot disappear..

Start Dancing

Remember to warm up before you start dancing with your cat

It'll be a late night, the concert won't end till around 10 so we'll start dancing sometime around...

It was so strange, but one of my favourite memories, that this song should just compel us to leap up and start dancing

We'll all get very very drunk, start acting quite lewd, try and pull the barmaid, start dancing like monkeys

Immediately, visions of sugar plums start dancing in my head. Open cab pumpers are IT!

A bunch of lady boys come up to you and grab your hand and try to start dancing with you

Do not expect to start dancing Tango Nuevo earlier than in 12 months of hard work

I love that song! "Cha Cha Slide". Download it then start dancing

Google is stabilizing, and the bots seem to be done with their full-crawls. Google is now ready to start dancing

But before the mice start dancing on the table: I will still be reading your blogs

I don't see little girls just start dancing in the middle of a parking lot on a daily basis

Descriptions of the bikini-clad women who start dancing erotically

I mean, come on dude, get out there, start dancing

Google Search, What to do When I'm Always Blue?

My brain is flooded
  I feel so worn
  I’m always tired
  My mind is torn
  Too many options
  Not enough time
  I struggle
  But it’s in my mind

  I’m here and there
  I’m happy, I’m sad
  I’m never both
  But I’m always mad
  Many emotions
  In my head
  Most times I think,
  “I’m better off dead.”

  It hurts to think
  So I push it down
  But it builds up
  Into something …
  …I can’t turn off
  Maybe I’m sensitive
  Maybe I’m soft
  I try to tell people,
  But they blow me off
  Google Search,
  “What to do…
  …when I’m always blue?”

Passing years and Google

I wonder how old one has to be to have a dignified life, Google wants to re-identify myself
It appears there are many of me
They sent me a form where I have to place figures where they sit and move around
the problem is my eyesight is not good after
all at 86 six I’m not a Falk-eyed Indian
How this test can prove whether I’m me and not a company I don’t know
As it is I can’t log into X where I have 200 followers, which at my age is encouraging that there are people who like my view about politics and life in general
Old age is not for the insipid, we who are classified as old suffer joint pains and have legs unwilling to carry us around
Our minds are not as old as our bodies we have tons of experience to divulge, the politics of today have happened before, we know
Is there or should, there be a cutoff point to life
Say at 75 but we old think 75 is young, I even had girlfriends back then, who thought I was handsome; they should see me now!
I feel resentful, that Google in its hunt for
Fake accounts have singled me out after twenty years of loyal service

Google

Hey dear Google
I'm a little bit lost
would you mind to help me?
you're better than God
you have all the answers
you know all the plots
tell me dear Google
where should I go?

Where should I zoom to, perhaps to the Moon,
And on my way will juggle with millions of stars,
I have whispered to a Comet passing by real soon,
To please pick me up, as i plan to visit Mars.
Most of all I want to feel the star dust on my face,
And hear choirs of angels as they upon me gaze.
My wish upon a star,
To swim in the Milky Way,
I long, to be in the Galaxy,
I dream of such a day,
I want to feel the sands
Of Mars, run through my hands,
Hope to see shooting stars, and also Meteoroids,
But terrified to see a hurtling Asteroid,
Wish to explore many other Galactic planets,
Google, my best friend right from the start,
Though neither of us sure of the stratosphere’s
Patterns, so advised to be sure, to take with me a jacket.

Never Again

Too many times,
I’ve felt left behind.
We let the blind,
Lead the blind, into empty minds
Stuck thinking…..
Without any idea what can be,
At least it sounds good.
Stevie Wonder piano keys
Feels even better when I can’t see.
Out Shining them like Jack Nick
As good as it gets,
Remember when we used to question things.
The internet made you forget.
Everything you had to know,
In one ear, out it goes.
No matter the name,
Still smell a rose.
If you have to ask google,
You’ll never know.

Premium Member Google Has Replaced My Doctor Now

Google has replaced my doctor now.
I try to get up and my back screams YOW!
I have to think about it, every move is an ouch.
I want to climb back into my mother’s safe pouch.

But she is safely tucked away in heaven now.
And I am stuck in this world where an ow is an OW.
My back is shrieking with every flicker and move.
I am no longer able to dance, shake it or groove.

Googling back pain for my age is sobering I’ll say.
No matter what, there may be pain every day.
Because I need to stretch, which I no longer do.
I guess I’ll start tomorrow, wouldn’t you?

hostel life
you never know with whom
you'll share a room
a cappuccino
or
a piece of life

Fatima is not her name
just what she goes by
in Turkey if you're Kurdish
it's safer to be a Fatima
in Dublin she can be (her Kurdish name)
it's just something she doesn't
want to get used to

in Venice, Kaldoun asks in Arabic
what I think about the war
In the phone we share
I tell Google
I hope it's the end of Putin
he reads my words (in Arabic)
and replies
many children will die before
the end of Putin
gives me pause
there needs to be talks
a political solution
he says
I agree
but is there any talking to
a malevolent tyrant?
we must try he says
a little sidewalk cafe where
for most of the morning
we fill the Venetian air
with Arabic/English conversation
striking deep chords
about humanity (and inhumanity)
a young Jordanian chemist from Munich
an old school teacher from Arizona
and Google….
where would we be
without Google

She took a trip 'round the world
     without leaving her bed

   Through the magic of electronics
her fingers the eyes in her head

I thought for a moment and regret what I said
that if the world went electric, I'd rather be dead

Nature Vs Google - Unrhythmic Villanelle

Without uttering a word, nature preaches.
A google search may hold all the answers except for 'self'.
The watercourse way reveals the solution one seeks.

A cloudless sky, a blank canvas.
Over four million results for 'self' but none about self.
In the direction of purpose, the river flows.

The best teachers of life's cycle are sunrises and sunsets.
The moon's phases hold more responses than Google itself.
Each sunrise carries more hope than a thousand quotes.

Trees heal without charging fees.
Maps directs on every journey except on the path to finding oneself.
Nature's constituents are the best counselors for feeble souls.

Where better to learn the beauty of patience than from the enduring oaks.
Voice often knows how to assist except with emotional health.
The wind blows and alleviates the weight of doubts and worries.

Each sunrise is a second chance,
On a hunt for the input that gives an output for self,
A new chapter is cued by each moon phase,
To get to the ocean, follow as the river flows.
