(to the tune of "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" from the musical "Mary Poppins")
When grandma got her mobile phone
At first she struggled so,
But when she reached new milestone
She couldn’t let it go.
She face-timed everyone all day
In her town and abroad;
She simply had a lot to say,
Got neither vexed or bored.
Chorus:
MY GOOGLEGRANNYSNAPCHATCRAZYINSTAGRAMANDTWITTER
Days and nights on internet
Have made her fast and witty.
No more home-made cakes and pies
And that is quite a pity!

I did bend backwards, so to speak,
To get my grandma back,
But she got mad, called me a freak -
Gave me a hearty whack.
When Gran Aid Services arrived
She played cool and proper;
She lied and said that I contrived
One big, blatant whopper.
Chorus:
MY GOOGLEGRANNYSNAPCHATCRAZYINSTAGRAMANDTWITTER
Days and nights on internet
Have made her fast and witty.
No more home-made cakes and pies
And that is quite a pity!

But then I got a simple plan –
An eye goes for an eye.
Although easier said than done
I baked an apple pie.
I made a cake and cookies too,
A cup of tea as well,
Before my selfish granny knew,
I ate it all myself.
Chorus:
MY GOOGLEGRANNYSNAPCHATCRAZYINSTAGRAMANDTWITTER
Days and nights on internet
Have made her fast and witty.
No more cakes and pies for her,
And that is quite a pity!

Where should I zoom to, perhaps to the Moon,
And on my way will juggle with millions of stars,
I have whispered to a Comet passing by real soon,
To please pick me up, as i plan to visit Mars.
Most of all I want to feel the star dust on my face,
And hear choirs of angels as they upon me gaze.
My wish upon a star,
To swim in the Milky Way,
I long, to be in the Galaxy,
I dream of such a day,
I want to feel the sands
Of Mars, run through my hands,
Hope to see shooting stars, and also Meteoroids,
But terrified to see a hurtling Asteroid,
Wish to explore many other Galactic planets,
Google, my best friend right from the start,
Though neither of us sure of the stratosphere’s
Patterns, so advised to be sure, to take with me a jacket.
Google my name
To find my aim
Google my name
To find the game
Google the dreams of an oppressed nation
Google the resistance of a fallen fashion
Google the voice of occupied passion
Google the graves found in park
Google why Kashmir is dying in dark
I remember the Google Boys
Such a long time ago!
Working in a neighbors garage
With Rocket Science to make their web go!
So I started bragging as LOUD as could be
Out on the Internet for all who could see
Next came a knock on my tiny front door
Two Google shirts that I do still adore
So thanks Sergio
And Thanks, Larry too!
Not a day shall pass
Without prayer for You!
God Bless my precious Google Boys, Judy

True Story...Still have my Original Google Shirts!
I've wanted to write to you for such a very long time
To tell the world in general that you're a friend of mine
Though I burden you with questions to answers that I seek
You stand so strong beside me in times that feel so bleak
Not once have you denied me for anything I've asked
nothing seems so great that you can't take to task
In return I will try to let you know...somehow
That I shall walk beside you, plant a kiss upon your brow

Thank you John...
Limerick : Once a Yahoo forced to go Google
Once a Yahoo* forced to go Google
Took out a leash/lease to lasso Poodle
Yahoo marched his Mistress
Through high-water distress
And for pains was told to « Go ! Doodle ! »

My students adore Google so much.
They take it for magic or Midas’ touch
I show them how it translates,
And beg to follow my dictates.
But alas! This falls on deaf ears,
And fails to conquer their inner fears.
If Google does all work for them,
Can Google act or think for them?
So funny follies, so many mistakes
In their names that Google makes.
What more than this can I really say?
What proof they need to stay away?
From Google’s machine translation
And turn to God’s infinite creation.

Now I went to college many years ago
But I'm sure there were things I missed
'Cause some of the words I read today
Well, they just didn't exist
I knew all the words like "thee" and "thou"
Like Shakespeare wrote about
The poems were simple with simple words
And my knowledge was never in doubt
Words by the masters were easy to read
Like Dickinson, Poe and Frost
But somewhere on this road to fame
All the easy words got lost
It has to be this computer age
At least that's what I think
'Cause if the poets of old wrote these words
They'd keep on running out of ink
So keep on writing your great big words
Like a bugler blowing his bugle
'Cause I'm the smartest man who ever lived
Thanks to a thing called Google
Before There Was Google
By Elton Camp
Way back in the graduate school days
To find facts, there weren’t many ways
Simply to find a library book
Into the card catalog you look
In little drawers, find the card
Searching was tedious and hard
When you locate it, still have doubt
For perhaps the book is checked out
It was off into the musty stack
The needed information to track
Also bringing the hapless researcher fear:
The Reader’s Guide to Periodical Literature
One couldn’t have a sure expectation
The magazine was even in the collection
In very few colleges anywhere around
Was even a single computer to be found
For the good old days, I don’t yearn
But trust Google to help me learn

With so many kids in my family
Mismatched socks we had many
Stripes, whites and array of colors
With buttons, yarn, ribbons and glue
Duct tape, felt and markers too
We'd go toe-to-toe creating
Sock puppets of different kinds
Google button eyes and button noses
Yarn for hair, felt mouths and ears
Duct tape bow ties or embellishments
Of ribbons and broken old jewelry
Using are new funny-looking puppets
Button eyes wiggling upon our hands
Nine of us would put on puppet plays
Each puppet was given a crazy name
And now it's show time, so quiet please
