Conquering all hearts

Heaven.
Where the air is imbued with a sense of serenity.
It's a place where all sorrows and pains will be washed away.
Eternal peace, light and beauty.
Souls find rest and fulfillment with the presence of the divine.

Just a glimmering astral spark births in the gloom a crest of day,
A solitary thread of wax dancing its aura
Scatters the night -
In a delirium of gleamings that chase phantoms of fear away,
Shaking the hegemony of silence with a hymn of photons.
Just one snowflake star, in its cascades of silver,
Deciphers a divine ode
That might launch

Hummocks of Glimmering Sand

The sun was newly risen above the Earth
His golden smile warmed amber desert sands
The grand landscape resembled barren lands
as sepia grains were slathered in rippling waves
That's what I saw through blurred vision

Glistening

Glistening like jewels,
Sparkling sapphires – twinkling topaz
Glittering garnet, radiant ruby
Dazzling danburite – elegant emerald
Fresh water pearls and a shimmering
So soothing, a gentle light…
Erasing the darkness of night,
Reminding the heart why there is 
The moon in the sky, the starriest eyes
Vibrant, lively smiles – silencing
The doubt, wiping away the clouds
Coloring life with love so alive

Glimmering Nocturne

Orb of light in night flight,
specter aglow in onyx gown,
upon shimmering, icy-laden trees,
branches encapsulated winter’s freeze.
Indigo blanket ringed in haze
of the moon’s controlling gaze.

As the hares do romp and play,
amid the snow-capped winter days,
to dine on twigs and frozen buds
and unto dens full bellies run,
to huddle down as days be done;
‘neath ground of grass and

My past glimmers. 

Like spikes of metal, bent by hammers. 

My crooked past prods me into the present. 

So I may forget those that I used to resent. 

I remember my family’s last smiles. 

I would see them again, but not for a while. 

I thought I would become a monstrous memory of theirs.
