Glimmering Shine

Fury, wrought in a bygone age Memorialized and destroyed in a tumble Heaped on the pile of broken dreams and promise We are each one gods —drained of our icor Each moment—closer to the forgotten Where the west lies oh so precious— Each moment—closer to the forgotten At arm’s length, cheering until Now is your time to shine Your time to live Your time to formally acquiesce All the pounding—no one heard Each moment—closer to the forgotten Where the west lies oh so precious— Each moment—closer to the forgotten At arm’s length, cheering until At arm’s length, noises forgotten
