As an underdog given a short leash on life

alternately titled give one targeted scapegoat a break,
an unquenchable thirst for moolah before I wake
from nightmare of computer hackers. 

I tread upon the oblate spheroid
along the edge of night glistening
like a blade runner wielding a knife.

Dark shadows hoover
from the outer limits of the twilight zone
illuminating one bisel

I would much rather risk having an encounter with a cougar or grizzly bear,
as opposed to being alone in the wilderness and cross paths with a stranger.

They chased me down and took me up. 
I was stunned by a ray for it was the sixties, was it not?

These guys were supposed to have glass domes spaceships.
They did not; but the blinking lights were there.

Tender kissing bites, honeyed dessert offered free
wonderful the flights, through blossoming forests of trees
all in all, miracles were given, lost soul found
in resplendent nights, covering soft virgin grounds!
