Inside,
the walls of a rotting
log cabin,
situated in the piney woods,
you lie situated on me, adorning my
neck with soft summer kissings.
While
I pull dandelion
fluff up and out of your
hair.
Cypselae,
that’s what the seeds
are called,
miniature fruits that grant
wishes.
As far as wishes go,
this is my greatest.
As far as fruit goes,
everyone knows what happened
to Eden.
Eve, I diminished our
love into atoms.
And the cabin lays rotting
there still.
Genuine contentment* is gain against greed's blight
Sans carnal cravings of selfish heart’s reign
While sufficiency bursts midst sharing delight.
Let’s chase not earthly wealth with temporal strain
Knowing that satisfaction matters most
Along kindness upon reaching-out terrain.
Grateful to God for blessings, heavenly dosed
Our spirits are filled with joy, serenely divine
As we care to give cheerfully, never to boast.
With prayer to keep our faith to shine
Bouncing from fall due to covetous heart
We now move on, fulfilling goodness-design.
Triumphantly contented to do our part
Every day is a fresh radiant start.
*1Timothy 6:6 ... Godliness with contentment is great gain. 1Timothy 6:11 ...O man of God, ...follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

Losing the world, leaving behind
Its collective static
One gains, where only the wind blows
A companion - in soul.
Through each response, unaccustomed
Felt, at depths, sensitized
To what gives voice to, treed and grassed
The Lord of all - whole.
When there is
Nothing to win
Nothing to gain
Nothing to lose
And nothing to prove
Remain at ease
Move on, ride on
Crawl, walk and run.
The sky remains blue
The ocean is deep blue
There is nothing to pursue
Move on with the wind
Stop playing in the sand
Nothing to move
Nothing to prove
Nothing to muse
And nothing else to lose
No, no do not pause.
There is absolutely
Nothing to gain
Nothing to win
And nothing to see
When everything is done
Crawl, walk, and run
Move on, please, please
Ride away with great ease.

God’s consistent plan as tapestried for man's soul shine
and blessing-stitched with enriched knowledge threads divine,
decrees that His cherished children each faithfully heed
all spiritual growth their pains may gain when hearts bleed.
Since the first sad tears from first eyes shed thundered rain,
God has lovingly, universally issued and used pain
that His children will yearn to call His name for insight.
Without dark as hurt fraught, many would never seek His light.
Wounds serve to swerve us towards knowledge beyond ourselves
for answers His perfect love-light shines brighter than all else.
I always miss the laughter,
That makes and solves the disaster.
On the top of our voices,
We used to make fun and noises.
One tiffin but several hands,
Rounded with friendship bands.
Outside the class we stood,
Making as much excuses as we could.
A dark and a rainy day,
Expecting maths teacher to be absent everyday.
We are like the birds that flew,
Missing the memories which are very few.
I want you to be my friend again,
I always miss the laughter we gain.
What good is it for a man to gain the world but forfeit his very self?
What good is it for a man to be buried in a gold casket
if no one is there to admire its beauty?
O, foolish is the man who fails to realise
that flesh is worth more than gold,
that relations are the only riches
that truly make one rich.
For all bones are white, rich like poor,
but when they lay intertwined—
O, you know they were truly rich.
The world in reverse just like karma
Seeds of the ancestors keep growing
Sometimes what we see is deceiving
Because people wear masks and some disguise
Pretending to be what they're not
Portraying to be allpowerful, then start straying.
The world in reverse
Would bring chaos or peace
Many will become biased or at the peak
What's up comes down
What first becomes last
What's moving onward and forward
Become slacker then move backwards.
The world in reverse
Would make many tremble
They'll be scared to strive in their path
For they know all the atrocities they did
Many give what they don't want to get
Then lament when they get what they gave.
The world in reverse
Some will sing melodies so sweet
Some will try to find their ways
Some will panic or perish
Even when others live in lavish
I'm not swearing or wish anyone bad
Trying to sweat out all nature taught me
It will be just if everyone gain their input
Let justice prevail.
Everywhere I look I see the effect
Of great expectations washed up
On the shore of reality.
I know it’s a projection,
But I see it in the faces of everyone
From young to old, happy to sad
And know it is true for them too,
Whether they have accepted it
Or are still rejecting it
Caught in arrested development
In some stage of grief.
It’s life after all
To expect things to go our way,
And life to have them eventually
And always go otherwise.
It’s what makes us grow
Tough on the outside
And resilient within,
Yet still no matter how tough and wise,
Within there is the pain and sadness
Of being human,
Having gone through gain and loss
And of seeing others go through the same.
I know it’s projection on my part
But I also know
That’s my part of humanity.

Time and time again
Rhyme and rhyme I gain
The old words I put together
Their fluff and their leather
In their old conveyance business
Arranging them in a newness
Over and over again
Offer and offer I gain
Divine providence
Manifest in lyrical evidence
Manifest in reader approval
A staying power without removal
Circle and back again
Chuckle and buck I gain
Joy and reward
Trade and meaning all aboard
A gift that keeps on giving
A life that I am living

no gain without pain
you gotta push on, right through
to the bitter end
it's just in sight, bend, bend, bend ~
moan, groan, scream ~ Oh my Hammie !

Who is real fond of warfare and gain
Got to the 'white house to barter'
Yet ended up starters
For calling; out' unsavoury names'

Causing Britian, much

I hear daily its people complain!
What have we gain from political trust
What have we gain from false loyalty
What have we seen from our landscape
What have we heard from current news
What have we felt about brewing war with China
What have we done with our country
What have we help for our fellowmen
What have we done with our God
These are all questions of my search
These are questions to be answered by leaders
These are questions to all followers
These are questions for you and me.
