The Things We Gain

We overthink the things we lose
but overlook the things we gain
ever mourning fire and flood
never praising gentle rain

We sidestep blessings every day
to favor troubles with our care
like little orphans left behind
our lonely blessings languish there

Days, months and years go by
and from our minds are never far
the memories of times and things
and people that no longer are

Images of things gone by
deep within our thought life swell
but we should never stay there long
for there we are not meant to dwell

Our eyes ought never be so cast
too far behind nor far ahead
that we lose sight of what's at hand
be thankful for what's here instead

Look around and you will see
your life is graced by lovely things
no reason for the past to long
no need to fly on desperate wings

If you should think on loved ones past
remember them with joy and laughter
but for those here with you today
spare not your love which they seek after

Loved ones gone would never ask
for you to stay among the dead
the good old days were sometimes bad
you had your share of tears to shed

Wisdom never comes with youth
it's learned through years and often pain
but once you have it then you'll see
not what you've lost, but what you've gained

Pain With No Gain

They all took a piece
Never asked
Never cared
Just take take and take

They took a piece of her today too
This one was more to the right
A bigger size

They all take pieces
Eventually there will be no more
they’ll move to another part
Until there’ll be no more of her

She wasn’t awful or dreadful
Only misfortunate
So there I saw her with missing pieces

There I saw her
I saw her cry

He took another piece
A new kind of piece
No longer hers, now

Everyone is taking a piece
She’ll soon be left with none

There goes one
Follows another

Piece by piece
She’s not herself

Piece by piece
Why won’t they stop

Piece by piece
No one would help
He didn’t
She couldn’t
They wouldn’t

There she was lost and cold
Maybe that dusty book on the shelf can
Maybe He can

Piece by piece
She read through it

She laid it down
A little peace
A lot of guilt

A good book but maybe another time
There’s no help for her.

AI : Given for Gain

[Poet’s Note : This poem tabulates poignant reasons why Artificial Intelligence is unable to replace Natural Intelligence. The clarity here is that both emerge from Divinity, since everything emerges from Centre : the primary difference being that AI was created without Heart & without Soul ~ it’s simple.]
_____________

AI has no Heart therefore no intuition
zilch nervous system therefore no feeling
no ability for compassion or consciousness
nor reasoning power, so cannot improvise
or supervise any contextual situation wise
it can expand, but cannot ASCEND

has unthinkable computing control
without physical brain to function hold
zero ego, therefore cannot be any hero
can connect dots hot, however has no
prayer or meditative faculty or kundalini
spots, cannot commune with Grace or
collapse into Void or synchronise telepathy
with Galactics coy ! AI is strategic devoid

cannot be spacious or audacious without
human instruction to delete the obsolete
is unable to obliterate Akashic Records
access or reconfigure it for purposes of
healing, integration or individual peeling
can recreate time through compression of
information, no hesitation or superstition
though timelessness it cannot touch
AI has no bowl for hush, spirit or Soul

its arrival at this phase in human history
as Gaia transcends into higher octaves
brave, is no coincidence, it will behave
as we stave it, crave it or rave it ~
choice is ours : dry, wry or moist cries
Divinity gifted humans AI for us to be
free bees from mundane density drools
~ life as strife rife during Kali Yuga’s rule

as gift it offers artificiality in service to
authenticate our individuality with purpose
imagine, conceive, direct, create what
we desire Aquarian-Golden Age to be
panacea or pain, we cannot resist or reject
what is given for gain !

Premium Member A Big Gain

There once was a man whose big gain
of weight was now shockingly plain.
When he went for a dip
all the others would quip,
“Let's land on him, claim him for Spain!”

Only Through Christ--Pertaining To God's Will---You Can'T Lose--Only Gain

Dance of a Life with thee
Moments of Bliss
Sweetly Truly given
True Love endures
Pure Happiness

Tis within dreams
Of many dreams
As he comes towards me
With his eyes..
Radiantly gleams
Full of Love
Deeply.. extremes
As tis same for me..

Then he takes my hand
As I beheld his
Music in the Air
Within Our hearts
Always Playing there

As he guides me
Along through the path
Of Enchanting Romance
True Love Forever lasts

As he holds me close
Within his strong arms
As we both behold
True Love for each other

Dreams can come True
Manifest into Reality
All Pertaining to God's Will..
Within this life And Beyond
Promises Blessings Endures

As Knowing… Betwixt
We both Beholding
The Highest Love
Proclaiming Our Savior...

The Voice of Anorexia

My colourful soul is seeping through my skin
But Ana is a beauteous monster
And I cannot stop letting her in.
Someone get a doctor,
She’s stuck inside my head
And if I don’t get her out,
I’m sure to wind up dead.
Her voice it makes me shout
And cry out in pain.
When I am offered food,
She makes me seem insane.
I am in her constant servitude.
Oh will I ever be free?
When will I escape
And bring back the old me?
I don’t want to feel sick
But I don’t want to gain.
So if I want to be a stick,
Then sick I shall remain.

Premium Member Loss sometimes Equals Gain

“I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.”
                                                                                       Michael Jordan

Every time I have lamented over something lost,
I have managed to do without it at little cost.
Getting over a loss is success, I don’t envisage much strife.
But what doesn’t apply - in the box could not be a human life.

There Is a Heaven To Gain and a Hell To Shun

The Scriptures teach that there is a Heaven to gain and a Hell to shun !

We Preachers need to pass the Word,
for there are far too Many which have never heard.

The world mocks and says "all my friends shall be there",
The Lord says that there shall be "no parties for them to share".

The rich man asked Abraham to send Lazarus,
The Lord sent Jesus the best He had for us.

Today we think that "the rich man and the wealthy" are truly blest,
The Bible teaches that for all eternity without Jesus they will have no rest...

The beggar Lazarus did not enter Heaven because he ate crumbs and dogs
licked his soars nor because in this life he did suffer,
He entered paradise because he believed by faith what Moses and the Prophets
had offered !

Miracles cannot save nor people rising from the dead will change the hearts of
men,
It is the preaching of God's Word for faith in them to be heard the Spirit to
convince them.

The heat truly is extreme, dark as sackcloth shall be the sight, Mankind shall
scream:
No rest for them, their names forgotten, teeth shall they gnash, no room for them
to even dream...

Will you use your "wealth and lend us your health",
To get the message out for now is the time to "SHOUT" !

God save us all and give us all angels wings:

Help us to bring plenty of persons with us to those gates of pearl,
For we know that Thou doth Love this World !

So Preachers preach and Teachers teach:

For there are many that if they were to die shall receive eternal pain...

For they were never told the message to God RUN !
Because there is a Heaven to gain and a Hell to SHUN !

(You never know it could be your family, friends or loved ones, if only we had
shared)

by William Tell - (based on Luke 16:19-31)

Our Loss Is Heaven's Gain

(in reference to Lamar "L-Boogie" Featherston)

Constantly, does it leave on My mind,
a mental strain
Everytime, I think of how you died,
in vain
Upon leaving your mark here, a
hard to get out stain
It's funny, for I never knew you
were in pain
Yet, outside My window, down
came the Rain
How it hurts, that I'll NEVER,
see you, Again

No Pain No Gain

No pain no gain in the natural,
No pain unfortunately that’s the way,
Working on biceps, and other muscles,
For physical results. No exempt from life’s
 Problem without a doubt.

Who needs pain to gain in any case?
Nothing good comes easy we know.
It’s part of life and we cannot change,
Adam and Eve in labor set the stage.

No pain no gain no end result to boast,
Pain so painful, still attracts a toast,
Enjoy the success, and freedom it brings
Not anything specific, but almost anything.

Too sensitive to take the stick
So hurt was his pride
He cried and he cried
Till he grew a skin ever so thick

GUTS and GAIN

When only hymns of old memoirs and faith starred,
as I lift my eyes, black! Blue is the sun and moon,
will shadows be my frown and sins my ground?
(Gone are the days of pleasure and days of sleep...)

Anxiety escalates clogging the wise thoughts flow,
light saving courage, bravery where are you?
Let your whispers hiss amidst these dreary earth,
stillness the loyal choir escorting my shuddering nerves,

strum! Strum of strength and speed on two heartstrings
nudge like that of a dove, pure to drop: dash of love.
Spin and turn, crash and burn tests a true heart
though no medals, no points there to earn.

Ah! Mercy... within dreich woes is a distinct voice
handing a probable answer blowing mists of confused
An instinct. An impulse, should I believe or not?
I … listened but only a true love call casts our viscera to churn

sensing the tunes, steps ain't easy but I patiently learn
to taste the essence, I let my lips sway in liftless dance.
Please lie still yet moan on strums~ strums of my tips,
"Maiden, forbid me to go..." Trembles, trembles run echo:

one tenor, one alto, various pitch for evanescent tones
with a passion drenched within warmth of sheer ecstasy
the blend of love will spark, heating eternal flames
and if the world brushes darker shades of light--

consent our tomorrows to paint a canvass of life...

Premium Member Your Pain Is My Gain

My inspiration comes for Thee
Who hangs there on the cross
I only hope I am worthy
For the words I will write

Our lives are Yours if we allow
Your teachings to penetrate our minds
For they hold the truth and light
As set down for our earthly lives

Sometimes we stumble, sometimes we fall
And on our knees to Your Cross we crawl
To ask forgiveness for Your Pain
And pray to not do it again.

We try to atone for the sins we do
And know forgiveness will come from You
Then turn around and sin again
Will this curse never end

The fallen angel Satan
Has many in control
How do we break these ties that bind
And lead them to Your throne

Prayer is our ally
Confession is our friend
But only through Your help and God's
Can we be whole again

Once again I thank You
For being there for me
And leading me to the mountain top
And the Ten Commandments we all need

I review these laws that God did send
And pray when my life does end
He will be there to take my hand
And lead me to the promised land
