Premium Member Time For

The time set aside in life for friends, it seems to me, comes to an end in much the same way for many people – at any rate, I have never read or heard of anyone expressing surprise at this, but I have read several disappointed confessions, and rather verbose ones at that (notably by Frisch). And what do I have in common with this person now, sounds a rhetorical question, and the answer is instantly provided by silence. But what is even funnier is that the time set aside for oneself also comes to an end in a similar way. We cease to take an interest in ourselves, rituals easily erode meaning, life signifies only itself, and not just in moments of peace, but always, every minute.

Premium Member Casper the Friendly Ghost

Casper the Friendly Ghost
was youthful and wanted one thing the most;
each show he searched to find and make friends.
kids always ran; maybe the wispy can't plan solid ends.

Special freinds

For some very special people
I have come to know
I thought I'd write a little poem
Just so I could show
To you i wish the very best
in love and life
And all the rest
But not just for this year
Or the next
This I'd wish you never
For what I wish is happiness
To last you both forever.

Biz Biz Show Biz

Nah it aint that
if you wanna be
real and all
you tell me to
call you on the telly
you never pick up
when I call
Change the definition
of Love
to yo' own conveyance
All that woman is
ricca monroe jazz
Dude tryna build
a relationship
ya'll say he either moving
too slow
or he moving to fast

You're still the one
the only one
top-me, number one
on toppa the stack
Don't you label me
as someone your
freinds can relate too
for real you know me better
than that

Your single freinds
act real strange
they use to smile
Said I wanna baby
now everythings changed
aint no tippin out
if you go you gone
your momma taught you
right from wrong
don'n me
to find another
I aint your freind
and I aint your other

We done vowed
our marrage bed

Premium Member Lily And Billy Collab

Lilly And Billy

Street cat Billy's spongy scraggly and cool
So, so edgy-sik, he's a grunge-dusky jewel
House cat Lily purrs he's so fine
Billy scoffs just get in line
But he knows deep down he'll gladly play the fool
                                                              —Robert Gorelick

Fools rush in when Lily the feline purrs
The alluring cat with enticing curves
Yet it’s only Billy
Who sends Lily silly
The one for whom Lily's little heart swerves
                                                              —Beryl Edmunds

Chic Genteel and posh

Premium Member True Freinds

Our bodies are made of mostly salt water
That includes our spouse and rebellious daughter
I have a keen notion
We belong near the ocean
With our true friends, the seal and the otter

Maybe that's why we holiday by sea
Cause we are drawn to water naturally
But where are our fins
Flippers, tails and wings
Are we all shoals or are we family?

Tribute To A Tributer

I Am Anaya likes good food and fine rhyme
Dining with Poetry Soup all the time
She posts tributes so terse
but they could be verse
With a love of poetry so true and sublime

Again Like Freinds

Afraid, to say I was right
I was wrong for saying you're always right
it kills me softly, I see you fading like the night
How can I sleep, when you're next to me?
How can I say, I want to be right too!

The Difference Between Freinds and Those You Love

Friendships may come and go,
But love endures forever

Freinds

Once it’s gone you’ll never know why.
But then you try to remember all the good times.
You say to yourself, man what a good friend.
While memories of joy sore through your mind.

Once there was a time where you could remember,
Where both of ya’ll did the unpredictable.
The things you said you would never do,
Never crossed your mind when it was just the two of you.

Then there was the time where you can recall.
That almost had ya’ll fall out.
Due to jealously of other so called friends.
Oh, how they tried so hard to end your friendship.

What about the time you would say.
The 1st time we did that one together!
The new places we traveled, and adventures we went through.
As you smile and laugh; now no one knows but you.

The times we had were ours and ours along.
While you might be gone physically,
Mentally you’ll always stand strong.
