Miss Percy and Mister Pasmer
decided to jump the broom
they would marry in December,
February or June
the perfection of coupling
they wished to have a ball
a celebration for freinds and family
a great time for one and all
whilest shopping for the festivities
a gentlemen heard them say
the meats all these meats
will be cooked this fabulous day.
The butcher told them that he
could make an order so that
they would have meats
the couple smiled and told
them tommorrow come back for the treats.
well the fellow heard this
and grinned an evil grin
he bought all the meats
and came back and bought
the other meats again
they might marry but they will have no meats
I'll buy every pound
of pork, chicken and beef
if they seek mutton I'm buy that too
I'll buy all the meats in Marry place
yeah thats what I'll do
when the couple sought meat
there was no meat around
the meean fellow had
bought all the meat in town
the couple knocked on the door
of the meat buying man

The trees are all drowsy and preparing for their rest
The summer follage has grown old as forrest creatures prepare their winters nest
Soon the colors will fade into the ground
And winter will lay its snowy blanket down
The north wind will come to purify the air
Clearing the dust and pollen leaving a crispness everywhere
Soon will come time honored blessed celebrations
Gathering of loved ones of every tongue and nation
Spring was fresh and wonderous
Summer a busy rushing fuss
Now Fall is slowing life to a somber stroll
As time awaits its eternal toll
Winter will be as in times of old
A moment of cleansing slumbering cold
Then a new spring will burst forth that never ends
Filled with discoverey and reunion of new freinds
Mesmerized by her presences

Those simple times
When big brother was blind
The tube was just for the news
The easy chair, dad was there we helped him with his shoes
For a hard days work a home cooked supper his reward
A post and plank worn smooth by shoes a childs slideing board
Relatives visit meant late night play
Chasing fire flys hide and seek and singing lessons from Kay
Church on wensday twice on sunday
A time of freinds a time to pray
Pray we did and worship for sure
Singing so loud it was heard by our Lord
Mountain hikes with my buddy Greg
Eating blackberries and picking thorns from my leg
Dreams of the future and the girls down the road
Learning the difference between frogs and toads
Those were times that went by fast
Those were times that could not last
A Time of sunshine a time of fun
