FOREVERMORE

You laid me in the earth
But I am with you, you are not alone.
I caress your check disguised as the wind.
I hug you as the warmth of the sun.
I sing to you as birds tweeting
And the owls hooting.
I am the movement of the clouds Sheltering you from the heat.
 As I watch over you, See me in the colors of
The sunset and at sunrise.

Not in the kiss that meets the lips,
Nor in the hands that tightly grips,
Not in the touch, a sparkled caress
Not in a vow to stay true blue
For true love lies in the yearning
Where hearts yearn for more

Our Forevermore

In her eyes sparkle bright and true, a true hymn of your divine view, when she's near my world takes onto a new hue, though many lay before me, they've never been you, with every glance my soul begins to soar, a never before seen lore carved into my core, here's my ode- my love for you to see, a sonet of our loves harmony.

Now fly,
show off gossamer wings;
Blessed with hunger am I,
brave with weatherproof strings;
I aim for a bullseye;

Now write,
letters are alchemy;
Each reader can take flight,
learn you intimately;
My set glitches delight;

Ink flows
from deep inside the gut;
Inhibition will close;
Setting free classy smut,
I mix in clean cut prose;

Words scream;
Cognizant of my soul
they hijack a daydream;
With pen, paint, or charcoal
take it to the extreme;

Lines dance,
walls crumble to freestyle
celebrating a stance;
My stanzas run a mile,
I always take a chance;

You soar
so high when you give in;
I’ve crashed and hit the floor
and stood up forgiven;
I’ll write forevermore.

Premium Member FOREVERMORE - POTD

His heart overflowed with tears
As he watched her sleep
She was so frail and thin now
His inner being weeped

Together and in love since teenagers
She was ninety now….he ninety two
She was dying and the end was near
They knew what they wanted to do

She opened her eyes
Met his eyes and smiled
“Cup of tea my sweet ?” he asked
“It won’t be a while”

They sipped their tea slowly
Then lay down together in their bed
He cradled her in his arms
Kissed her gently on her forehead

She whispered “ l love you and will forevermore”
He softly echoed the same words
They kissed tenderly on the lips
Smiling they closed their eyes….not another word was heard!

They were both gone ……

the raven strolls the campsite
slowly, unbothered
jet inky black
sans purple or blue iridescence
unlike their lower cousin the crow
in bulk alone
3 times the weight
and silent
less the squawking from rooftops

ambling with the ownership of a king
empowered by his birthright in the food chain
gorging on the deceased and left behind
taunting the living as he goes
the glamorous star of the carrion eaters
chasing his own ebony beak
strutting
just outside the reach of danger

For they come here for me tonight.
With waiving arms and ghostly cries.
With fists locked and seething eyes.
Around my tomb they do despise.

For they come here for me tonight.
With all their lies and all their spite.
They bring their blame and deliver it to my door.
From as a child forevermore.

For they come here for me tonight.
As I feel my pain transfer to the light.
They curse and swear and wish me hell.
They pour their scorn, their malice, their hate into my well.

For they come here for me tonight.
With golden wings on which we take flight.
With smiles and peaceful caring eyes.
I leave them behind in their mad, sad world of lies.

I Adore

I adore
By Juno Byron
Dedicated to my friends.

I adore the shore fo'rmore
The pure clear water u hear
That flows foes hearts aparts
'nd the single own known home
That heaven has given
Bright light flowers shout out
That bees busy build hives
All tall trees praise days
When love above all I maketh
Fear, dear keep aside
No wave to save the lost
At pleasure to enjoy treasures
All shall be mine
I shall rise to power
Climb to the tower
And bow down to God
Ask Him to bless the humbless in this nature
I adore the shore fo'rmore

Loved Forevermore

**My family was definitely Heaven-sent,
They build up my courage in every way.
If only they knew how much they meant,
They mean more than any of my words could say.

     **Because from the very first day I met my wife,
She changed my entire universe, it's true.
Plus she also gives me a purpose in life,
It's amazing how she came out of the blue.

     **So I can only thank the Good Lord above,
For blessing me with my family of four.
They complete my world filled with purity & love,
And in return, I am loved back forevermore.

his gentle way, his kind soul,
falling in love was easy;
walks in rain, snow and sunshine,
oh, I miss my love . . .

For Sue, Forevermore

for Sue, forevermore
(Tribute to Emily Dickinson and Susan Gilbert: an attempt)

You remind me that I’ve got blessings to count,

Albeit disguised as despair beneath daisies --

You remind me that there’s no grace in saving face,

for the truth comes out eventually --

You remind me of an old familiar body ache,

One that lingers intermittently; causeless --

You remind me of mystery in a murderous ploy,

but the truth bends easily --

You remind me of everything and nothing at all,

A violent outburst that calms my soul --

A sole firefly in my darkest of nights;

Alas, I can’t put out the fires you’ve set in my garden of lies --

the day old flower I carry is wilted
and I touch it's still smooth decaying petals
why must it die so quickly . . .
like my child who did not even gasp one breath

My darling-
     your voice
         is a melody,
that speaks to my soul;

My darling-
      your words
          captivate me,
and I surrender to you;

My darling
     your lips
          touching mine,
so full of sweet promise;

My darling-
     your breath
           on my skin,
leaves me breathless;

My darling-
     I feel you
            tremble with love,
and I must respond;

My darling-
     I love you
         with all my heart,
you are part of my soul;

My darling-
    I love you
          and you love me,
today and forevermore.

Polka dots on the table
Polka dots on the floor,
Polka dots on my toilet.
Polka dots forevermore.

A rut you say?
How little you know.
They’re on my underwear
Where they sometimes grow.

Polka dots for everyone
No limits I say.
Polka dotted cat?
Sure, she’s mine. Her name is Fay.
