the Italian language

The Italian language

I would like to immigrate from Portugal to Italy
After ten o'clock at night, I switch on the TV
and watch an Italian soap opera
I don't understand a word of what the actors
say, but it is the way they say it, no hard
Consonant, no one is asked to stand to attention
For a comma, a full stop is a mere bagatelle
Not understanding what actors say is not
important, it is about facial expression and screams
So many pleasant surprises, last night's program
about a man who looked scruffy, he looked like
an evil character, but as it turned out, he is a police
inspector and arrested the man who looked like
matinee idol for the murder of the girl
All this happened in a modulated language where
crass consonants, dare not enter

A moment

The room was small;
There was street graffiti on the wall
And a bed next to it;
They were both on the bed
And he was on the top of her;

To her,
It was peculiar with this boy,
She couldn’t stop gazing,
At the face expressions he had.
In the face as he was making his way into her;

She knew,
She would remember this moment;
His facial expression was dear;
It was as if the waves were splashing,
One by one, against the shore
And made white foam;

His young face was in bliss,
In torment,
In joy,
In ecstasy;
He was stuck in and was suffering, flying;

Choose Your Life

Everyone has their own journey
No one can walk it for you
No one can decide for you
Choose confidently the path you trust
That is how you define your life
Don't let other people's emotions control your mood
No one deserves to make you sad, tired or hurt
Just because of their facial expression or words
Remember, you are your own light
Smile is the most precious gift you give to life
Being true to yourself is your biggest power
To overcome every challenge
Smile, shine, and love yourself everyday
Life waits for no one but you alone
Live each moment to the fullest.

Facial Expression

Facial expression
A separate art marvel
In a human form.

Love On Ice

So much romanticism on the choreography
The body and facial expression
Demonstrate a love between the two
A passion, simply fantastic, perfect couple
Perfect synchronicity, wonderful
Beautiful to see, extraordinary
Romantic to see, amazing the performance.

Dancing In The Rhythm

She tried not to dance the rhythm
Couldn't hold back anymore the beating
Facial expression, priceless now in motion.

She tried to fight and release the urge
Perchance dancing without inhibition
Thinking the moves through its rhythm.

She's now dancing with the rhythm
Trying, shy, seeing eyes reaction
But the body has a mind of its own.

Oh, you were asking yourself too?

Now, when one of you asks questions,
I observe what is on the desk,
if there is something left already from someone else.

Slowly I grabbed my book intentionally,
but still looked in deeply.
Smile? I didn't feel like it.
What was there to smile for?

Suddenly you said:"It's alright, he can have mine", while smiling.
Now I understood why I was so confused.

But being that careful comes from something more deeply.
Since when are you ressuring?
I answered with no facial expression and just looked away with a slightly nodd.
I am not sure if you saw it, right, you can't read my mind.
I was relieved you tried to make it right.
But there is no response left for you.

Premium Member Choosing To Shine

Every day in every way we get choices
We can choose to dazzle and delight
Or choose to disappoint and demean

Every facial expression
Every word choice
Every eye roll can amuse or hurt

We create our day every day.
Showing people our shine or our skunk.
Optimistic people rising to the top of energy hills.
Bringing like-minded people up with them.

Positivity is a pendulum that swings people to the top.
Reinforcing the ones who are ready to be joyful.
Discouraging the ones who are insanely jealous of it.

All the Same

Too many times
we live in someone else's
make believe.
Truth really isn't that hard
to conceive
we spend too much time
consummating
someone else's cares.

So much time wasted
in our head,
there's never enough day
 to act on changed minds.

Starting again
 in the same sun rise
 always surprised
 by yesterday's acts.

Hearts dead set
on what ought to be.
Never considering
who you are to me.
A difficult problem
 to define but always an answer
 I can name.
Wrap my fingers around
and caress it ever so simply.
From atoms in the physical
to energy in my mental
the answer falls like rain
and never stains this knowing.

Gifted from the spiritual,
passed through metaphysical,
and accounted as a glitch
of what should not be.
Still the answer remains clear.
No one else has to believe
my make believe.

Can you feel it?

The way your soul shifted
and absorbed the brightness
of your facial expression.

How in the world
could anyone answer that?

I guess it doesn't hurt to ask.

But it's known all the same

Premium Member A Flair For Comedy

Some people are naturally funny
They have a flair for comedy,
Seems everything they say or do
Illustrates laughter as a remedy.

Many times quite unwittingly
They say something not as a joke,
But it gets gales of uproarious laughs
Because it was a comic who spoke.

Often it’s merely a facial expression
That gets an audience’s attention
Other comedians rely on story lines
And funny catch-phrases for retention.

Folks say I have some natural ability
To make people around me laugh,
I haven’t the foggiest notion why
Except I’ve always been prone to gaffe.

Minds creep past words
laid trap-like on waving signs
“Look at me” they shout
“but not too long”.
“Do not change
your facial expression
as that could be
a micro aggression”.
Under no circumstance
should conversation be attempted
for that would require
an opening of the minds
an evaluation of
the shouting signs.
A consideration of
their intent
and how that relates
to their meaning.
Passing minds look away
shield their thoughts
stare into empty coffee cups
wondering
what the people holding the signs
are thinking.

Carl Andre

I saw a bearded man
and two bricks
one atop another
On a gallery floor
Is that art?
my mind asked itself
The facial expression made me a bit queasy
I may have smiled
but now I don't remember
They protest at Andre's events now
push comes to shove

Jealousy Forever

Seeing his rival celebrity on the screen,
He is with envy green;
By him thought a fortunate being,
Of all nominees their Faculty’s Dean;
Only thirty years ago did his mother him wean.
A reason to be starving and be forever lean;
For facial expression keep wearing “The Mean”
No occasional reliefs to feign:
Jealousy should forever reign!

Throughout Time Our Numbers Have Dwindled

Throughout and over a period
of time

Our numbers may
have been cut taken and dwindled

Yet thankfully love increases
exponentialy upon every anniversary

We light a candle in your honour

As each year in passing is greeted with
and met with a new found deeper sense
of respect and loss

Never again will your voice to be heard
nor facial expression be seen

And still and though the pain remains
and grows ever steadily

If i close my eye's to dream of you
once more again i am finally
at one again with thee

And my tears are drowned out
only to become a distant memory
