the mirror reflect old eyes that stare

the mirror reflects old eyes that stare
a reflection of for filling dreams and the coming nightmares
these days that went from no-where then into every-where

once opulence and good fortune was fed
now its no more trips into eden and into babylon
and the lust and rage of youth is long gone

the eyes see no more sunshine upon the rising dawn
for the sands of time say theres no time to dwell upon
as today they only see a future with a coming storm

the eyes remember the true tales-the ones wholly robust
but the eyes now only see the memories floating in the dust
much like the prayers of the innocent who souly trust

for the days of youthful freshness is now long lost
like the winter tree naked and bare in the bitter frost
lifes expenses now has become a cost

I agree it’s a flaw, to lack respect
For the usual silly proud words that match
Some symbolic achievement where I didn’t act
Didn’t bother to start “my way” from scratch
Wasn’t able to worry about learning curve
Didn’t listen to those dour faces drag
Took them maybe easier than they deserve
Never waved any bright or a bleached rag
I don’t have the required reserves of hypocrisy
Wouldn’t initiate any commences
Neither I stand for empire nor democracy
With folly defense at my own expenses
Call me a psycho gripped by indifference
Call me whatever you like but don’t kill
Deceased, I won’t add any sensual coherence
To the mess you alter thinking it’s your will.

A RECESSION IS COMING

If your living expenses and
Utilities are steady climbing
And the wages are not
Even if you're on a fix income
It's a recipe for disaster

Premium Member Sisters

After mother passed I had to find peace,
with my sister and mend the fences;
it was import to me that we find release,
the will complete and all the expenses.

There was always some hurt between us,
since we were kids and it had grown more;
we needed for there were things to discuss,
our inner thoughts and feelings had to pour.

So, we met and we talked for hours and hours,
we laid to rest the hurt and burnt the bridge;
as we walked in a park among the flowers,
that day we also burnt down the drawbridge.

It keeps on going as according to some plan
Till all the burning questions turn to embers
Days drag on by like endless caravans
I’ve heard my name is on the list of members
I’ve tried some fortune, like the others do
My income couldn’t cover all expenses
Required paperwork got me subdued
So little privacy was left for recompenses
The time I spent was my invisible co-writer
Of what I meant to say, and what I missed
The evening sun just for a moment burns bit brighter
No mystery unfolds, we've seen all this..

dealing with ICE

they took me prisoner cause I looked different
I told them let me be for I was born here
my hands were tied and they laugh at me
why do you detain me I did nothing wrong

alone and battered in a cell no telephone
my wife alone with child calling relatives
asking if they have heard from me
while I was transported to make shift prison

they kept asking what country I was from
They said I was here illegally so I was sent
to south America and I did not know Spanish
lost and scared I walk toward a house

They looked at me with pity in their eyes
I asked if they spoke english and a young boy
answered and asked why I looked so lost
I asked if they had a phone the boy said yes

after some time my call got through
I heard my wife voice and began to cry
my family arranged my travel home
upon arriving my wife and friends were there

I took my passport and marine discharge
papers to immigration office to prove I was an
American citizen and requested reimbursement
for all my expenses (5,000) and lawyer fees

Take your complain to ICE they made the
mistake not us

Corruption is a compromise
The pirates fair share
Top state officials legalized
Profit under social care
They are concerned about
Expenses and receipts
They’re checking our accounts
They blame us in deceits
But it’s projection of all those
In power, they believe
We must be damn corrupt by laws
Established to deceive.

flimflam Freddy, Frankenville’s only funeral director
actively sought out numbskulls, dimwits and nitwits
an expert in cajoling them into signing contracts
assuring them that their funerals would be exquisite
he verbally mentioned doves, orchestra, and magic shows
none of this was in the contract they signed
a contract that guaranteed nothing
a contract that assured him of unbelievable amounts of money
funerals that cost others six thousand,
cost these nimb-nuts twenty thousand
in teeny tiny print it mentioned that additional expenses might be incurred
and they were

Marvelous Light

Radiant joy is mine.
All is radiant and fine,
In the family of the King.
To Him our allegiance bring.
He loves the people of the land.
It's Jesus in command.
Cancelling all the curse
As King of the Universe.
Rest or work, laughing on our way,
All expenses He will pay.
So entrust yourself to Almighty Judge,
To God who removes every smudge,
To Jesus, our Lawyer, His Son,
Bringing Light to everyone.

my mother and her lovers

My mother and her lovers

After my mother divorced my father, who
I faintly remember, but for his cruel remark to my mother
pointing at me, saying, "Whose son is he?"
She threw him out
Over the years, she had several lovers, most of them
moved in, which made sense, they were working
class and had no proper home
So they stayed for a while and contributed to
the overall expenses, but I suspected that she
got bored with them, they had no, unlike my mother
who was well read, nothing to say
She was an ardent communist and blamed our
The political system leaves many in poverty
When she was in her fifties, she met a man who had
a house he inherited from his parents
For many years, they had a good life, but nothing
lasts forever, he died, and his mother is not easy to
Being around was left with few visitors
Her life had been hard; two of her children
died young, and the youngest one preferred to
live in another country, struggling with problems
caused by his childhood

Premium Member Head And Heart

When your heart and your head
Have a major disagreement,
Which body part should win?
Certainly not in every case,
But in 2020, my heart won.

Two of our dearest friends offered a gift to my
wife and me. My wife immediately consented
Without question, to the opportunity to go on an
All expenses paid cruise. I immediately said "No"
With my head, but I could not find the heart within
Me to say anything but "Yes".

Our friends had gone on 29 cruises and wanted
To share one of their greatest joys with us. Indeed,
I have what we call a bucket list, but going on an
Ocean cruise is not on my bucket list.

I confess that there was a secret war being waged
Between my head and my heart. With my calculating
head, I was losing one of the biggest conflicts of my life.
Moreover, by consenting to accept the gift, I learned
Experientially, a great lesson about selflessness.

Due to circumstances related to the COVID-19 virus,
The government canceled the scheduled cruise.
Notwithstanding, the heart of our dearest friends will
Forever have a special place in our hearts.

The Provisions

Freedom provides the option
To thrive while unrestrained
By individual circumstances
By the self-serving demands of others
By our own compelling pain

Freedom provides an opening
For truth to roam free
Sometimes hurting, sometimes humbling, sometimes healing
Sometimes returning to its owner
A long-lost key

Freedom provides an opportunity
To test the boundaries of our souls
To examine the framework of our egos
To recalculate the sum of expenses
That renders us whole

more gift cards

More gift cards

What is it with people and the money they dream of I’m not a money person, cash in hand is ok
Perhaps a small account is enough for everyday use to repair a puncture.
A family friend got me to invest in a gift card thing, but I soon realized it was a bad thing, I cut my losses, as they say, a bird in hand is better than birds in the bushes
The gift card company is persistent in a little investment more and I will be very rich, which is the last thing I want to be
I feel sorry for the wealthy who need a yacht to
feel good about themselves big insecure egos begging for us to love them
they tell me I risk losing 400 thousand dollars and
what, on earth am I doing with that, when my thinking is a possible income of 5000 thousand to help with my daily expenses
Take Elon Musk, he is a genius and impossibly rich, always on the move to stave off his inner demons when sits down for a moment he looks inward, he is deeply depressed, and can’t find pleasure for long in what he does
Bless him he has so much to give to the world at
The cost of his well-being
All I want is to read, have coffee, and toast in the morning, and to hell with untold riches

Premium Member guilty by tattoo

Though opposed by federal court
Trump’s sport-like media report
Features flights at night
With head-shaven blight
And the hog-walked men we deport

What slave asks for anything more
Than a rave in El Salvador?
With expenses paid
In dirt they’ll get laid
While six million bucks pays our whore
