Premium Member Act Of Defiance

All at once I absquatulated,
in hindsight now I know why.
The craziness simply escalated,
I no longer held the desire to try.

The pellucid message in silence
is a fierce strong-arm motivator.
Sucked into an act of defiance,
I will not indulge an instigator.

Speaking with a cogent message
I have expunged every syllable.
With no words I have set the stage
for a civil dialog to be permissible.

Now it’s your turn to open it up,
apply for a little bit of restitution.
You must swallow your pride cup
if you want to apply for absolution.

Time to become a showstopper,
no need to be unruly or obscene.
I say ‘Be wise my little grasshopper,
there is more than one jelly bean.’

Children of the Forgotten Town

In the gelid that transpires
Of the wreckages of the bombed town
Two children, brother and sister,
With no house and family
Step into the stones of collapsed houses
Playing no more and smiling no more
No gifts, no holidays
Little brother and sister hand by hand
Walking randomly in search of nowhere
No joy anymore obfuscated by dark memories
Of departed mummy and daddy
Escalated by noises of guns shooting afar
Tumulted by random bombs
Silenced by threatening shadows and
Frightening nights
One lollipop from the ruined candy seller at the corner
And then the roar and blast of a close bomb
To take those innocent lives away forever

Groomed to never see it coming,
we wake the past in restless sleep;
Our two cents grounded in quicksand;
Poor spelling, no checking, it’s a virus;
It tends to appeal to the worst in us,
emotions cause us to fall for wordplay;

September 1939 type headlines in 2023.
Click bait war based on hearsay.

Echo chambers manipulate current events,
escalated at once by infiltrating bots;
There’s nothing we can trust to be fact
chasing solar flares that will never relax;
Unable to sift though deep fake for truth,
our reality has become discombobulated;
Decisions based on he said she said,
repeating fluff from a game of ‘Telephone’.

Click bait war based on hearsay.

Left blowing up all the superfluous
into a toxic self-destructive storm;
We need a clean renewed source,
something pure that we can believe in;
Burn it down if we can’t make it better.
I promise you we can beat this system.

Mate

Violation of human rights.
With no regard of the psychological damage.
The parental alienation of lies spewed from your tablecloth.

No decorations for his empty room.
No hugs from mom.
No kisses on the forehead, or uplifting aspirations from my words of wisdom.
Emotional absence while you worship money.
Void of teaching the love of family, and bonds that are to last forever.

As you severed the beautiful relationship between mother & son.
Caring about yourself.
As you fail to fathom what you have done.

Your actions, have created a wall in which you have built.
As you carry no guilt with a barbarian like mentality.
Lacking the essential skills to cooperate; as you alienate.

An eruption of emotions as you escalated a high jacking of my sunshine.
Keeping him from a beloved mother that protected, and nurtured.
As you cruelly navigate scatology from a woman that has no regard for truth.
Choosing a mate that only cares about her looks, and fake persona.

While he lays in his bedroom looking at the empty wall.
His phone full of Anime….
Working long hours to escape his fate…..
It’s a shame you chose such a hateful, greedy, manipulative mate……

At the Helm

the whales were

singing as if they
were rejoicing yet
only voicing that
which whales do

where the best
store was for
kelp and little
things

things that you
and i would think
as chit chat and
actually a matter

of fact
but i heard
from the tabloids
that whale speak is where

it's at from an
off and on again
covered addiction
an almost resolved

semi physical
that escalated
into a no win he
wins situation

which is where
we end yet where
we began so to stop
the cycle from being exact

i punched
the guy back
got a broken nose
but showed him i was

steadfast

Premium Member Trapped In Elevator

In my mind I was on the six hundred-sixty six-floor;
In Hades
Things weren't well
I need help Satan's elevator got me
so elevated, escalated, heightened, high, increased, all jacked up, raised
I keep pushing the seventh button but the door keeps shut it doesn't open
This moving box extreme, full, hot I'm maximized, peaked, sky-high, utmost lost
Trapped in this electric box that keeps moving at the speed of light
I'm falling, falling scared so hearts pounding I am crying
Sweating think I'm dying vertigo spinning
Doors not opening Satan's still laughing
I'm trapped in a here open up the door

Finally Completed I concluded done ended, finished,
The elevator button has loosened it's unlit seven has lighted up
I've accomplished, achieved, attained, compassed, realized
My freedom the door now opens guess what I'm in heaven
Dead in this elevator defunct, extinct, kaput I'm absolutely expired
As I open my eyes and wipe the sweat off my brow
”DING”
I realize I'm on the seventh floor door opens I'm in heaven

The Sea

The sea calls me
 whispers in my ears,
the rise and fall of foaming waves
waft the scent of salt tasted tears,
a haven released through time
pounding surf, light, dark and dreams
  upon each sounding splashing wave.

Rise. Greet the ocean farers
the fishers of men and women,
schools of children birthed
 within restless stormy night winds,
the aftermath of being freed
born to ride the quivers of the sea
beckoning the surge of living life.

Embrace the swells of existence
as the ridges surface and hide again,
the very ripples of breath and heartbeat
pound the inner rhythm in its melody,
drumbeat rolls and foamy crests escalated,
  rumbles of thunder unearthed gesticulated
the depths breaching trembling whitecaps to shore.

The sea calls me
dances wildly on the sandy shores,
a tidal flow that inches in from the ocean climb,
taffy pulled breakers slapping on the wet sand,
the billowed torrent of blended lives,
whale, shark, tuna, clam and crab once sheltered
in the darkened depths to journey up and out
to the open seas, calling, wait for me.

Premium Member Co Worker Dance

Banter, banter, banter.
Loud ridiculous laughter.
Chuckles about nothing.

I try to work
but my co-workers voices have escalated
coming through my wall loudly and clearly.

They are laughing over silly stuff
Repetitive because I hear it daily.
Laughing again over stupid stuff.

I can no longer concentrate on my work
I have chosen the wrong route before.
So I know it will be a lot more pleasant
if I join them and become them, so I do.

Twelve minutes later,
Confident I can concentrate now
I return to my work,
And my co-workers are still friendly with me.

Premium Member The Hip Trip: a True Adventure

It was semi-dark in her
kitchen and late at night,
When Panagiota fell to the
floor, with both legs in flight.
On her right hip, she landed
so terribly hard!

Alas, getting up, was not to
be!
She crawled like a lobster from
kitchen to living room.
Far from merrily!

I won't even mention the words
she said,
As it might turn your face,
crimson red.
To the phone she was headed,
an ambulance was needed.
Surgery was done, huge pins
were inserted.

In rehab, oy! How she loathed
each minute!
Her desire to leave was so
profoundly escalated.

She had to learn to walk all
over again.
Her mind set was, " I am
going to win this one."

Four stairs were like going to trek
to the top of Mount Kiliminjaro!
But she exhibited humor
and extreme bravado.

Her grandson, Prince Edward,
came to visit!
With these timely words...
" I told you to get an Alert Button!"

Ah, those warning words~
ignored, yet so divinely explicit!

The Waves

It has escalated into something
It cannot be seen with an naked eye
Nor it can be pointed out
Believe, it has arrived

It has formulated itself
It cannot be felt with an empty heart
Nor it can be spoken
Hold your tongue, it has arrived

It has proceeded over obstacles
It cannot be challenged
Nor it can be questioned
Knee down, it has arrived

It has accomplished a lot
It cannot be evaluated
Nor it can be accessible
Arriving, it is

Premium Member I Love U

He dropped the words
like a hot potato fail,
"I love... "
(Her heart escalated.)
"...uuukuleles."
(Then tripped on
that same sliding staircase.)
She picked up the words,
then tossed them back.
"I love...."
(She paused for drama.)
"...uuunicorns more."

Wearing Relations

Ringing silence, wringing peace
Events occurred, escalated recurrences
Watching in paralysis, a numbing sensation
Scathing remarks, scorched memories
Wishing away, sighting regret.

Deceit assuming a paradigm
Premature trust, humbling truth
Blinding innocence, directing guilt
Tears audible, ignorance depriving
Unfazed concern, proferring a hand.

Erratic tempers, conflicting perspectives
Rifts formed, roles exchanged
Apologies unheard, responses defective
Avoidance deflecting, discussion foregone
An ear understanding, resigning judgement.

Forts formed, words guarding
Betrayal pervasive, support strained
Bonds protecting, verdicts negligible
Reputation preceding, a parent to paper
Beckoning motions, soothing emotions.

Proceedings proceeded, an untold process
Omitted whereabouts, unforgiving losses
Crumbling structure, incredulous thoughts
Paternal instincts, convinced away
Blood bearing, burden boring.

THAT DOUBT FOUND THEM TOGETHER, THEIR TOGETHERNESS WOULD
THEN BE DOUBTFUL AND OFTEN IN QUESTION.
SHE NEVER SPOKE OF LOVE, AND THEN SOUGHT TO HAVE IT
SEEN AS SOMETHING EXPLAIIBLE AND CHALLENGING.
NOT TO THOSE WHO KNEW HER AND EXAMINED HER RELATIONSHIPS
BUT TO HER CREDIT THEY OFTEN GUIDED HER WRONG TO WATCH HER
