The Role of a Soldier

There are some eminent people
who are true epitomes of bravery
they carry arms to fight against
the enemy and unfurl the flag of victory!
But at times, they become the war casualty
who lose their arms and survive shortly
Pitying glances fall as they live a life of disabled
But their high self esteem shouts, "You stand differently abled",
They shine bright and earn a unique identity
because they don't let go any coming opportunity
to restart the game of life as it was priorly
even if in a new way and hence they inspire many
Many of whom have a hard way to heal
and have courage to live their life normally...

Colors In the Sky

As dawn peeps in through the mountains,
Morning sky mirrors reddish orange fountains.
Doves wake up with cheerful coos;
Is it their way to gear up for facing worldly ruse?
These epitomes of peace soon grace the pinkish blue sky,
Spreading their pinions they prerogatively soar high.
The azure sky soon turn into a limitless blue lake.
Those white wings must embrace freedom & enjoy a break;
Afternoon paints the heavens with yellowish shade;
To deal with the fatigue the feathered ailerons need aid,
For bearing the density of duty is not easy,
And that burden can make the conscience hazy.
The abendrot sky marks the serene sunset;
These symbol of liberation deny to be down & upset.
Finally walks in the obsidian infinity night,
Snowies sleep with hope that tomorrow will be bright.

Always unfold to reform,
Constantly matter: fluctuate, fail, and change,
Holy mills and enduring foundries,
A release of epitomes is occurring.

I disclose that it is either you or I,
Or any known or unknown lady, gentleman, or state,
We are viewed as secure, wealthy, artistic,
However, roughly increase epitomes.

The garishness fades,
Oblation determines the disposition of a genius,
Additionally as the efforts of a myth, a saint, or a warrior,
To create his pinnacle.

Every morally exemplary existence,
The units rallied and fled the enduring force,
Its apex is general,
irrespective matter how large or small the total is.

The eternal yearning,
On the view of the worn crests,
newer, taller crests were constructed,
Field and chaos wage struggle,
The exemplar of the old cheer.

I encountered a revered sage,
exploring the globe's tones and rage,
the sweeps of craft and culture, charm, and sight,
to typically collect epitomes.

fasten your jeer, he urged,
hours, days, fragments, and parts are gone,
given in surplus as a pioneer for songs and gates,
that of epitomes.

always a bleak start,
always motion; a fuller loop being drawn,
always the peak or the split, to clearly try again,
epitomes, epitomes

To a Lunatic Reluctant To Clear Out

As donkeys unwilling to leave the green pastures they graze in
Never let one force them rearwards into their stable by chin
Respectfully but would rather enter headlong eagerly,
So did you desire as a fool the last nail in your coffin.

You imbecile, and your partners, shall sure fall foul of our hands
Even if you ever escape your homeland’s law by the skin
Of your teeth. We shall seize and lynch you, and them, as examples
To the world even if you hide in oceans, you vile bumpkin!

That shall teach the noble people not to pick out on the globe
Such feces as a drawing card, such a troll, such a goblin.
It is so sad that a nation replete with renowned scientists
Knows no better and greater s*h*i*t than epitomes of sin,

Takes cunning for brain and instead of minds as sharp as a pin
Prefers a backward lunatic all filth without and within!

On Lemmings, Chickens, and Things

Across the Tundra, lemmings race
To the cliff, then over the face.

The prevailing theory laments
That this is not mass hysteria
But miscalculated judgment
In migratory behaviour.

And I watch my neighbours hoarding
Lest they should find themselves wanting;
Epitomes of ascendancy
Clipped to animistic qualities.
Flailing arms scurry to the abyss
Repeating, ‘The sky is falling!’

And I, a social misfit, surmise,
Deluded prank on the populace.

Premium MemberButterflies of Beauty

The icy cocoon of winter gives way to spring
As flowers bloom with fragrant song
Oh what colorful melodies they bring
As butterflies flutter on delicate wings

 A butterfly with yellow wings
 Meanders where the lilacs sing
Elegant wings in hues of green
Dance in meadows where wild flowers convene

 The ballet of the monarch
with wings of orange and black
 Such ornate patterns
 No beauty do they lack

 A myriad of colors
 with epitomes of beauty
 dancing through the trees
A beautiful ballet on a summer breeze

May We Always Create Together

Might we return to clear, flawful epitomes of our past,
where feelings bloomed into unoccupied realities,
worlds where we roamed, explored, traversed in our seditious verse…

Where conviction engraved our rivals’ lips with lightning bolts of silver,
raiding their muddled hills with the chaos of our creations,
daring to beguile, snatch, and dissolve, all misjudged resolve…

Were I to grab hold of the passion you once called Father,
were I to fill your brittle ribs with the epiphanies you have long let lost,
our words would tread along the broken, the troubled and the scorned
melting the creases of anger from every weary brow
challenging and regenerating the one you are now…

A Theatrical Nose Dive

This just in, we are long drawn out drab sentences of our breath,
trying to base a topic off epiphany's languid scry, waiting on osmosis to spark a nerve.

Crinkled pages, termites gnawing on pencils, saw dust.
Failed improvs to deliver colloquial precedence, un performed characters with ventriloquist strings for livelihood, the presentation uncanny to scintillating epitomes.

Group 2, line one, drawing a line in the sand. Out of the blue sparks a Big Bang, a flash of genius, a flicker of brilliance in a nano second, staged to theatrical dreams of sun dance wins.

Then there is me, clapping my hands in silenced tongue, speechless with hesitation in my thoughts, smoking in the after burn of rust, only the mind would know what to say left in the smoke clouds of their creation.

I've got nothing, quick sand running through my fingers like vapors in edgewise, and while I am still just breathing they just are, encircling around me like a shooting star.

Son of Stones

Son of Stones

A Rock that split
  This wretch begot...
So, douse me with grit
  My mirth is got.

Builders bygone
   My praise arouse
Who built with stone
  This Fort of a house.

I wear dread locks*
  To their martyrdom (e)
Who built from rocks
  My Zimbabwe Home.

Great is the hand
  That moved stones
With a magic wand
 Plummeting drones!

When a curse you spit
  I’m an enraged King
When stones you split
  To Life I spring!

Great House o’ Stone
  Is partly Me
Stone on top o’ Stone
  Built what set me free!

***A dedication to the Great Zimbabwe Ruins, a monument whose structure is a marvel
of human ingenuity.
***I don’t wear dread locks actually. This is recognition to those who do so as epitomes
of freedom fighting, the likes of Bob Marley.

Ego Gold

Ego Gold

All the accoutrements
Bolster self-images
Polished epitomes of self-aggrandisement
Glittering gold possessions
Are the necessities
Of self importance

Makes me smile
For this puddle shallows
Can be stepped over
So easily

A golden bangle
Appeases this living vacancy
Expresses wealth so readily
All its solidity
Materiality
Reflects in its shinning
Empty

Defined heart by plastic
Fantastic advert
Of slick rolling machinery
Means nothing to me
Derives by default
A slavery
Of squandered life

Money
Definition of success
Is thought to be
The diamante of living happily
Retards the senses
Divorces the spirit
And burnishes indifference's smile
To the paltry lives
Of others

I have
The mantra of a
Golden ego

I have
And become the effigy
Of ego’s worship

I have
Describes the soulless
So easily
