Veracity

I have often wondered if they blundered
or if there's any truth to the advertising
within the words written on me
a simple clothing label advising
a promise a guarantee
100% Cotton
but does it refer to the garment or myself
the mere material it is printed on
a paradox perhaps
all of which goes to show
it's a dilemma the answer to which
this enquiring mind needs to know

Telephonic

Whatever happened to the telephone book
enquiring minds need to know
there hasn't been one here for years
so wherever did it go
and what about the telephone box
or the answer machine
I haven't seen either near it's clear
they're few and far between
they went the way of the dodo
long before their time
as not everyone owns a mobile phone
and no you may not use mine
we used to flip the pages
let our fingers do the walking
but now with not a lot to say
there's way too far much talking

Be Amazed

Do you have a logical or enquiring mind ?
do you search for the 'why', that you want to find ?
do you wonder why, we're here at all ?
the answers near, across the wall.

First take a look, at plants on earth
it's the biggest 'factory' for living things
and feeds the sea, for you, for me
and for all the creatures, that walk or wings.

It's takes it's energy from the sun
plants system , makes a billion tons
of sugars yearly, its conversion stuns
and one hundred times coal heat, no skeptic won

This is a snippet of what plants can do
if your an enquiring mind , is it by divine , design ?
or is it an accident it came about ?
Look to the earth, the answer....shouts.

Melting Flesh

Spirit, spirit that gave me life.
Why did you leave without speaking?
Not enquiring with me?
Or let us reach an understanding.

When your time came,
You left quietly.
You left your precious abode void and lifeless.
Abandoning it where you chose

Did you not hear me say, 'I want to live forever,' or when I prayed, 'I'd rather go like Elijah?'

Oh spirit, spirit that gave me life.
I ought to have appreciated life more.
Then think about those who left scars.
Failing to truly love those who did not.

I should have counted my every breath.

Behind the grave, how can I express my gratitude?

Jeremy Puma

Just a passerby who wrote some books of wisdom
Enquiring into the Way towards heaven's bright kingdom
Reading ancient steles in a moden day light
Even using Zen as a reading stone for clear insight
Molding a mind and heart union to birth gnosis
You, Puma, showed how Christ and wisdom can guide hypnosis

Poured a river for my mind to be baptised in
Unfolded the Way grounded on earth for us to begin
Made a ladder for me to climb in heaven's light
A wanderer in this iron caged prison deep in night

Beat This Pink Beatle Butterfly R I P

Imagine a Wall

Hidden away from plain sight

Somewhere down a side back alley

An aspiring art student one day

Choose upon this to paint

As in a dream a this vision he had seen

The previous night time before sleep came

A mosaic of pink beatles

Which spelled out the word

PEACE

With 1 red balloon string attached

And a single white dove

On each opposing side above

And in time come to pass the word got out

And people came to see it

Unfortunately though when enquiring minds

Duly asked what it's actual true meaning was

He had to admit he himself didn't have

The faintest idea or clue either

It was merely a vision from his dream

Now pink is just a color

Beatles are bugs

And both balloons and doves fly away

And Peace in itself is merely a word

Just a dream and a vision of death perhaps

And sneak preview of the after life

The Link Between Reading and Good Health and Moral Judgement

Reading books of all kinds,
Broadens minds,
Thought binds.

Reading books of all kinds,
Strengthens minds,
Friendship binds.

Reading books of all kinds,
Heroes bought to minds,
Hope binds.

Reading books of all kinds,
Gifts bought to minds,
Talent binds.

Reading books of all kinds,
Fresh minds,
Moral judgment binds.

Reading books of all kinds,
Kind minds,
Empathy binds.

Reading books of all kinds,
Enquiring minds,
Reason to care binds.

Reading books of all kinds,
Alerts minds,
To dangerous binds.

Conversation With God

Dear God, I tried communicating and it seems you no longer near
All pains I go through day and night you don't seem to care
I've been left out here no real friend only you dear God
Just hear me out I pray, lest I go odd

Just tell me God, why is life very uncertain?
I struggle all day still come back home with total nothing
Can I know dear God, why the world you created so cold?
They said we were created in your image still suffering hold

I lost hope the first time but I was told to have faith
If I continue poor, I guess my friends will have no choice than hate
I'm now short of word, so I shout dear God
Help me now, hence my sins I can't afford

( A conversation with God enquiring about world uncertainties, why human are left to face what we are facing, the curiosity to know why there's suffering in my world)

The Lonely Couplet

Is it easy to find a 'good friend' nowadays?
The pseudo-living teddies are the loyal ones always...

You shout, you lie...
They will listen, but can't deny...

"Why did you scream?", they will never ask...
They just hear; enquiring is not their task...

The good old days remain sadly quiet...
Our present life has fixed nothing right...

Believing was not a great deal at that time;
when words used to find their perfect pairs to rhyme...

Paradise Islands

However

Picture
Postcard
Perfect

Paradise Island

May initially seem

Without a certain other Soul

To share it's plentitude and bounty with

Must be be like the final tree in a wood
being felled

Enquiring to themselves I wonder if
anybody else heard that

And is coming to my rescue

Premium MemberI Am a Shadow

In
The past
Moons ago
Zest was my friend
Living with vigor
Where did energy go?
Whittled away living life
Regrets and pleasure intertwined
Former self gone I am a shadow
Sustained by poetic, enquiring mind.

Premium MemberGet Over Yourself

dread weight portends a churning belly-ache
  the day sinking ......
relentless countdown to the frowning hours
before the night of fitful sleep awakes disturbed
that day is now here ...... too soon the unwelcome light

  numb propulsion, impending imminent
  door opening ......
pounding heart, cold palms sweat and muscles tense
room full of others with turning eyes, closing ranks
see inside myself ...... projected back, enquiring looks

I am they, all watching and they are right
  feedback feeding ......
clenched fist focus on self-fulfilling fool
someone speaks to me! to me! I feel the blood surge
as flushed cheeks inflame ...... and amplify my distress

  slight surprise, recoil, rebuffed dismissal
  stranded squirming ......
cornered, hurried walk to any doorway
blunder into the venue hall, seats at the back
anonymity ...... breathe once more, escape route planned

steal away, out of sight, try to regroup
  reprocessing ......
  unravelled depressing disappointment
sucker punched, floored again, selfish whimper
referee above...... whispers " get over yourself "

The Well

THE WELL

It is full of water, come close
And draw from it whatsoever you want
Full of peace, that voices louder than words
Open it for yourself and receive it

Move it around, it will never get worn-out of filling itself
To replace what has been used to clean up the dull room
The source of it has never been known even to the holder
To him comes the joy of enquiring more and more

Every day the preparation for the visit continues
Taking place inside the agency of the well
Everything is made smooth
As I raise my eye, I saw the moving water clearing the way

At all times, you need a bucket to draw
The amount you may need for internal use
Be patient than to rash yourself
So that you may not fall in the well full of water to stain it

Old structure outside, but inside still new
You just need to enter, for you to understand
What am talking about, you may not believe it?
Stretch out your hands and touch it, still here
