Premium MemberThe Incredible, Invisible Man

He discovered no prime that was divisible.
Yet, he found a way to become invisible.
So, he embarked on a crime and murder spree.
But he forgot just one thing, as you shall see.
The national guard caught up with him at last
because of the tell-tale shadow that he cast.

Art

Creation is something that many have embarked to acheive
My belief is to get out of the way of trying to create while rolling up my sleeve
The next step truly has its own journey, distance yourself from thinking too deep
A great idea or creation could end up as a technique too steep
It looks amazing once I eject myself out of the anomaly's plan
Where do these ideas come from? could it be my mood or my hand
A trust needs to appear for it is all that works in a moment of creation
It will happen once all the elements bind together when it comes into fruition
I'm proud to call myself an artist with multitudes of talents
Whether I'm sad, depressed or just joyfully absent
Infusing tricks that remain tacky or cheesy has no place in my arsenal
Or should I just be and allow without a mehtod that's enforceable
Creation is the process of channelling a wave of discoveries
Marked in crystal birthing of artistic prophesies
They already exist in disjointed pieces
My job is to unearth them and assemble the
Art.

Bleak Conclusion

Bleak Conclusion
(Soul Travel)
Cultivating escape
Travel on a smoky train
Destination approaching
Window searching
Are you with me?
Abundant open scenery
Emotions empty
Travel collective with embraced memories
Snap shot photography
Vacation long over due
Dancing flowers animation view
Arms wrapped around freedom
Embarked poetry sink therapeutic
Wings fly upon azure air
Rhymes drown in rhythms
Minimized stained glass windows
Travel afar
Can’t fathom many miles
A new journey captured
Bleak conclusion
Soul searching
Mind pondering
Life parallel
Travel here and there

Premium MemberA Man Snatcher

She takes what isn't hers like a burglar.
Her spouse wed his lover.
She shut her eyes and once more she lost him to that *witch*.
She views him as all-powerful.
Finally! She wears his ring.
Now it’s time to hold her tongue and demonstrate to the world that she belongs to Master Shingh.
What goes around comes back around; karma is a *trickster*.
Now it’s casual intimacy with Tess the *slutty switch*.
He smiles; she chuckles.
He slows down; she accelerates.
He sneezes, she responds with “bless you.”
She embarked on her new life without hesitation.
To her, the man is all-powerful.
She reverses the ground he treads.
“Yes, master; no, master”—somehow, she manages to love, respect, and obey.
She takes things like a thief.

Empty Nest

E very parent nurtures, through laughter and tears,
M aking dreams bloom across fleeting years.
P rotecting their young from a world unknown,
T eaching life's lessons in a loving tone.
Y et, in time, their children will chart their course,

N ewly embarked, driven by life's force.
E ntering realms that were once untold,

Premium MemberOur Gate To Heaven

"And if there's gonna be a life here after,
And faith somehow I'm sure there's gonna be,
I will ask my God to let me make my Heaven,
In that dear place together you and me."
Quote by Tommy Flemming and the Poet

you became the gate through which I entered reality
my vitality
we embarked together on a journey to sensuality
morality
you are still the gateway to floodlights in my mind
my find
by day the sun rose just to witness our adoration
infatuation
In every storm you were the thunder
my wonder
you were my strength against life unfurled
our world
melting to look into your soulful eyes
mesmerize
we walked as one, stride by stride
by your side
Your splendid embrace
souls interlace
always my mate
it was our gate
going through
with you
**
when that ghostly apparition appears
my fears
and all but our love is godforsaken
we refuse to be taken
groaning and grief-stricken we part
my heart
on gossamer wings the angel will save
our grave
going through the gate in stormy weather
we are together

When noon nest loses in light;

Standing on the curb
In the witness I am smart;

 On the course of life's highway;
I am walking to mine horizon;
I am the heat, in the fire spark;
I am the light, within the dark;

PIDGIN(NIGERIAN)?for di coarse for life's highway;

You Waited For Me

You Waited For Me
Where was I?
Dwelling some place
Glass in hand drinking
Pondering about everything
Things I can’t control
Nevesly unaware
Madness consumes me
You waited patiently
Everything was falling apart
Darkness rained and embarked
Under Pressure
You were there
You are the light
While I was drowning in the night
I can never thanked you enough
You outwardly understood
You saved me from going under
I owe you forever
You held me close
Inhale beauty into tomorrow
I never deserved a second chance
Put down an empty glass
The sky is watching
I’m grateful that we still have time
Time to start over
You carried me through

Premium MemberWe walk alone

Lonely is the path we’ve embarked upon,
imbibing breath by breath, boons of God’s grace,
enabled even as we stretch and yawn,
for such is tenderness of love’s embrace.

Although we wish to share, no soul can pair,
for this requires melding head with the heart,
deepening silence to become aware,
of how bliss ignition within does start.

To live in the moment, means letting go,
by recognising we’re not body-mind,
being but a boat we’ve chosen to row,
to grow by becoming loving and kind.

No wonder then we walk this path alone,
in timeless time coming into our own.

Premium MemberStark Bare Trees on Piermont Pier

Visibility is low, wear a bright vest,
Cycle with lights on, caution is best.
Stay on the bike path across the Tappan Zee
The Hudson's below, but you can't see

You can't see the water, the fog is like a wall
It might be a blanket, it might be a pall
You peer through glasses - an ancient man smiles.
Your bike hums in tune as it laps up the miles.

Turn south to the rail trail above Grandview
When you see a face, you seek for a clue
a man emerges, with dogs on each side
He looks sarcastic, but you nod as you ride.

You reach Piermont Pier, last stop Erie train
Soldiers embarked, not all came back again
The white in the sky obscures the sun
Seagulls rest but your peace won't come

Memories like waves begin.
The air is soft, so what stings your skin?
Father couldn't speak before life disappeared.
You dream of him as you stand on the pier.

Fog as a cloak, you hide in a cloud
People are scarce, but you don't like a crowd.
Head down in the fog, try hard to shed a tear.
Stark bare trees on a foggy pier.

Last look back on Piermont Pier.

Premium Memberjust another bozo at the bus terminal

fearful he rose from the ashes of hellfire
singed skin scorched soul and blistered mind
his heart full of charcoal burdened the flight
yet carbon cinder fuelled an escape route
from the trajectory of death or eternal damnation

when a tiny glimpse of ember cast hope
of renewal change growth and survival
he gave in to the vital force of the universe
and embarked on a miraculous journey
imbued by restoration gratitude and love

Chambers of Secrets

I embarked on a journey,
In search of something that was not written,
If it was written, perhaps only in part,
With missing pages, if it ever existed.

I traversed meadows,
Sojourned across turbulent seas,
Tunneled through the night,
And walked through the heart of the deep.

I was relentless in my search,
Undaunted in my pursuit;
I encountered the strange,
Almost cloaked by the unknown.

In my exhausting journey, I met a sage,
Who understood my plight with just a few words.
He told me that mysteries are not found in caves or mystical staffs,
Nor at the distant ends of the earth,
But within humans and their chambers of secrets.

Premium MemberFREEDOM

Crammed in a Makeshift Vessel they embarked out to sea
Seeking the air of freedom to be like you and me
One mother held her child as the raindrops hid her tears
The father held the mother's hand giving him
Strength to conquer his fears
Besides them were other strangers who nourished the same request
Arrive safely on America's shores the country they flavored best
The scent of the ocean as they passed creatures of the sea
The Sharks, the crustaceans, and other ocean mysteries
The peace of a better life they yearn to taste
To breathe the fragrance of freedom the fears erased
The aroma of liberty the flavor so sweet
Despite the unknown endeavours they were soon to meet
The adversity of the weather dictated an unforeseen course
The journey to heaven was not their giving choice
The vision they dreamed of savoring
The dream they dared to pursue
They are not inhaling the breath of freedom
The freedom as me and you

Waltz of Four Left Feet

Can you imagine your life if you haven't met me?

It was a cold day in December when all of this started. You, being the silly you, asked me something out of the blue. It was a request that I couldn't refuse and unconsciously, the best "Yes" that I have ever given.

From then, we embarked on a beautiful journey to brave the waters of love and the dance of destiny. We are soulmates, I know that for sure because I've never felt my soul in sync with anyone else. Oh how I really wish to be one with you. You are the embodiment of all the poetry that I write. My muse, my inspiration, my heart's companion. Oh, to merge my soul with you is like how the skies merge with the shore at sunset. Delicate, beautiful and dark. I don't need anything else to live, I just need you, my everything.

In this waltz of four left feet, there's music and harmony. But sadly, the rhythm is messy. We live in a different tempo and this forbidden dance makes it hard to let go.
