EIGHT BEAUTIFUL LINES

 EIGHT BEAUTIFUL LINES

Filled with peachy pleasure in parsley pastures
I eye eagle elegantly elevate in elongated flight
warriors wonder wisely about rising Sun
whispering wondrous worldly wishes across
abiding angelic appled air spun
elves and fairies pirouette in royal ribbons blue
with mystics maypoling as kittens mew
a mistletoe mist of fat figs feasting true

Premium MemberPurple Dreams in Other Realms

Once upon a magical evening an enchanted fairy I happened to see
dressed in a fantastical dress with two dappled wings of lace,
she shone like the midnight sun;
I must confess, she looked rather whimsical
sitting there by a green wooden door, waiting for your lore !

A vibrant purple aura surrounded the magical scene
to me it seemed

Premium MemberTake me to Lothlorien

The basement bulb goes out, I lack a spare
My cat licks my ice cream, I'm OK to share
My laptop gives my face a glow
I'm wrapped up in a magic flow

I imagine leaving the world of men
through Moria to Caras Galadren
float this door to the Arduin shore
reclaim my wonder there once more.

Take me to Lothlorien
I'll meet

Holiday Fun

Frosty

there once was a snowman named frosty
whose figure was round and quite glossy
he danced through the town
till the sun came around
and left poor old frosty quite saucy

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

there once was a reindeer named rudolph
whose bright nose would often just show off
he lit up the sleigh
but led them astray
when he stopped for a snack

Willie Winkie lived in a land of magic, in the region called Butterfly Haven;
For Willie was a diminutive elf, like the violet blossoms, of purple fixation.

Willie and his beloved wife, Elvira, lived highly organized, pleasant lives;
For magic impels ways and customs to differ, like buds, as spring arrives.

Everyone called Willie Winkie, 'Wee,' since most elves

Premium MemberElves on Strike

Just before Christmas, the elves went on strike.
Santa told them to go take a hike.
But after exchanges,
the elves all got raises...
and a fleet of shiny new mini-bikes.

Premium Membera land where elves play

Jasmine had been warned time after time
to stay close to the alley, and be a mime
do not act like you are listening, but figure things out
et out of dodge if there is an angry brawl or a shout

for self-preservation Jasmine left the alley that day
following a pink and yellow bug to a land where elves

Air traffic control has spotted a strange object in the sky
Moving at the speed of sound, bright lights flashing by
Radio contact has been made, a request to land on every roof in town
Air space has been cleared, and the landing textbook without a sound
A man in a red suit climbs out to check the flight

Personification to Fantasyland

Pages flying
Thunder clapping
Sun shining
Hearts breaking
Snowflakes dancing
Willows weeping
Wind whistling

It's all personification- but what if we switched them around:

Pages whistling
Thunder flying
Sun clapping
Hearts shining
Snowflakes breaking
Willows dancing
Wind weeping

Sounds like fantasyland- maybe that's where elves make toys, fairies fly, dwarves mine, trolls sing and dance, and gnomes do... whatever gnomes do.

Premium MemberChristmas Elves Kidnapped Fay

Christmas elves swooped down on me and whisked me away
Because they liked my hat! Claimed our crazy neighbor Fay
Why didn’t they just take the hat? I asked, toasting my bread.
I don’t know, she admitted. Maybe they liked the shape of my head.

Where did they take you? My husband asked, a big surprise.
He usually does not

Premium Memberelves cannopt wait to see santas reaction

Mrs. Claus had a tiny secret, and apparently the elves all knew
When Santa sees it, his face will turn all red and blue!
He won’t like it, they agreed, behind her back, such chatter.
She likes it though, so what he thinks should not matter.

Santa was too tired to notice at the brink of Christmas Day.
He had

Tom Cunningham has declared war on the elves this year,
The ones who hacked Santa Claus' computer. and I fear
the naughty or nice lists were mischievously reversed.
I'm very sure I heard Mrs. Claus gasp when Santa cursed.

A PDQ solution is needed for Christmas to be made right
before he shimmies down chimneys Christmas Eve night.
The last thing

Premium MemberWeird Wood

Some people don’t hike through the wood,
especially on All Hallows Eve.
Ghosts of boys and girls of good
float at the campfire, if you believe.

Elves and pixies dance through the trees,
with taunting, mocking, and leering.
They swing and sway in the brash breeze,
their faces frighteningly jeering.

What was that? The crack in the wind
unleashes demons and banshees!
Their hideous

Premium MemberElves Keep Their Efforts To Themselves

elves wanted to dress the snowman Rudolph had left.
We need to stack high said the bossy one, Cleft.
They stood shoulder to shoulder until they could reach.
Putting a scarf on the snowman; it was orange, yellow and peach.

Rudolph came back and said “Wow! You guys are fast!”
None of them told him why Snow Flake was wearing
