Hug the Bard Song

I wasn't truly attuned to the Bard
Who tried to show cosmic significance.
On the dark moonlit forest's stage, he starred.
His Bardic thoughts defying arrogance.

I met the night Bard while he was singing
In chorus with Oaks of the magic grove.
Sprouting with seedlings was his beginning.
Raised in the forest, his true treasure trove.

This bounty lies protected by wet

Jersey Belle, My Jersey Girl

'twas at the country fair I spied her
outstanding in her field
(in many more ways than one)
beyond compare second to none
eyelashes long and lovely skin of velvety down
I insist who could resist those eyes so big so brown
(limpid pools?) 'twould make a fool of (almost) any man
but I'm her biggest fan and I won't lie I

DREAMY SKY

[Intro]
I take not one, but two—
Cassidy pens all I see.
His quill carves stars into drifting steam,
Spilling my thoughts like melted tea.

He’s writing now, as the train rolls in—
Steam like ghosts against my skin.
The platform hums with names I’ve lost,
And my mind derails without a cost.

Steam draws elegies on mirrored breath,
Faces drip like incense in

The gospel starts, a river flows,
Of silver, bright and ever pure,
The greatest song the spirit knows,
A legacy that will endure.

A kingdom grand, of sunlit gold,
Where riches flow like endless streams,
A story waiting to unfold,
A tapestry of hopeful dreams.

Our Lord is vast, a boundless sea,
His power mighty, deep, and wide,
He holds the stars

A dreamy poem
Last night and half asleep I wrote a poem
About love not expressed but understood 
A sad story of two unhappy people 
Both unhappily married to someone else 
I spoke the poem into the night 
It sounded emotional and I cried a little 
In the morning, the night poem was forgotten 
I was too

A Dreamy Night

Black onyx night, of the pearlescent moon,
diamond dew kissed, musk rose red.
Deep purple and white passion!
Phantoms dance in lilac dreams;
around the corner of blooms,
with memories of sunshine.
Comparing lovely costumes,
in fields, beds and flowerpots,
just steps away from moonlight.
A polka dot rainbow flared.

Our Winter Gazebo

Behold with joy, our flickering sky. together tonight!

See the colorful, myriad, dark islands of stars! 

Always holding sapphired, colored tomorrows of joyous mores.

But I, forever lost in the light rays of your own starry eyes.

Your face, such equanimity and angelic grace!

Let's stay like this, forever in frigid cold, till we become very old.

The Knock

He knocked upon my door one day
I answered by letting him in
I couldn't imagine what he would say
But something did begin

Something, too good to be true,
 one would say, something out of the blue
Something edging on the brink
something, that was you

Inside the knocking became so loud
Vibrations turning upside down
A miracle? I dare not ask
I was

what becomes of the dewdrop 
that nurtures aspirations 
to become a cloud

Wavering winds,
Wearing woolen clothes
Waiting for the destiny  to disclose 
Winding winds of illusions from my mind

In the tapestry of universe
Thinking of infinite possibilities
Which will bring me sac of happiness
Tons of miracles

Finding myself in the arena
Where people moves on clouds
Fly on roads
Travel through unicorns

Here waking up from my
Dreamy world ,
Dancing in the drizzle
Finally I solved

Glitter in my eyes,
         Towards my dreams
   Gives me unconditional strength 
            To achieve it
  Though it looks like it is out of my league 
       

He Is So Dreamy

Anteater guy swings his two tiny 'shrooms
They toss and sway like willow tree blooms
We watch him waddle on down the road
Probably to visit his cousin spotted toad.

He is so dreamy my cousin Suzette said.
I am shocked at her idea – is she crazed in the head.
You don’t mean Anteater guy! I incredulously say
Who else? She
