Premium MemberNights draw in

We harvest all we can
to last us through winter
Glance at the majestic moon
and make a wish with her

Magical things happen
as her rays beam down
a soft side of night
cuddles us close

Dreams come in quietly
holding us nearer
We stop to reflect
on things gone by

The nights get shorter
the air carries a chill
which we wrap up against
Now's the time to shut down

I'll stir again when its warmer
until that time I will slumber
until spring returns
and the nights get longer.

Scary

Draw in a deep breath,
And boom your voice through my skull.
You scare me to death,
But there's never a day that's dull.

Tell me you're sorry and things are going to change,
"Well they'll change tomorrow baby not today".
Then tomorrow you slam the door against my face,
Wipe off the blood and tell me "It's okay".

And I tried to leave you just the other day,
But I woke up bruised and unable to recall.
You know whenever you speak to me it's a power play,
And if anyone asks you'll tell them "it was just a fall".

I'm going to take the dog, and I'm going to leave.
And you'll still sit here and refuse to grow.
And all of the love I had is going to turn to grief,
But if I'm going to heal, then I've just gotta let you go.

The use of truth

The Kingdom of God is among us
In Jesus Christ, we can trust
He is pure, so we can endure

Many preach a false gospel.
The truth is a dangerous weapon in
The hands of a person who is not true
For a long time, people have used the
Gospel merely to draw in money

The use of truth in an evil way is a common scenario
In our day and age
People are placed in a cage
They merely listen to leaders without
Studying the Text for themselves

The Cross is the Masterpiece
The Kingdom of God is the Truth and has become
A universal symbol of the sacrifice of God for all humanity!

The Kingdom of God is among us
In Jesus Christ, we can trust
He is pure, so we can endure

Nightmare

In my dream the deception was deep,
This girl was healed through the enemy,
And everyone believed that this healing came from God,
She was showing proof that her sickness was gone,
She was passing around a rope that was plated in the middle with gold,
But the rest of the rope looked rugged and old,
I knew it looked strange as she passed it around,
As if she was endorsing others to use this rope she had found,
She said she placed it around her neck and God healed her instantly,
And I heard God whisper don't touch it, the rope is the disease,
He spoke to me clearly and went on to explain,
The rope is a trick and a noose to kill others this way,
The healing was sorcery to draw in more souls,
Used for the enemy to kill in number..he also tricked the girls soul.

all knowing God-mind
heart loving and kind
ours for the asking
whilst in bliss basking

there’s a catch of course
love employs no force
to ignite form prism
draw in magnetism

poised in witness mode
with heart our abode
we reclaim soul’s light
and bliss beat’s delight

dont resent too much

Friend, do not ressasse
your dark ideas,
Death will come
Whatever you do,
Everyone owes it,
Don’t resent
Your appointments
At the doctor’s,
He doesn’t even think about it,
Under the palm trees
Draw in the sand
The heart of a girl,
Think of the turtle
Who lives peacefully,
Do not complain of your misfortunes,
Nor your thoughts,
Don’t resent
Love is like a sprig of lavender,
Feel it hunting
Your dark thoughts.
Don’t think about it.
Tomorrow does not exist.

The bedraggled beget bedfellows with
Tangled hair, tattered sleeves, a sea churn chaotic.
Comfort is found in a rumpled, ruffled unkempt state,
Shared by a weary soul and a heartless sea sat beside.
For sorrow will draw in where sorrow has been.
Churn will discern a likeness for agitation,
Beyond the calm that demands order, prim, proper, neat.
For it's disorder that makes a ruffled mind
Seek solace in a ragged heart, torn, and well worn.

It takes off-rhyme
to heighten rhyme --
like background in a
painting, should not
obliterate the fore...
leaving little to view,
less to excite and visually
explore -- (my wife, a fashion
plate...and I, the mutt of a date~

somehow, it works....)

I guess, if not for man's fall,
there would be no theme of God
to venerate -- in a dark sense~
evil is the light of good reflection

a night that makes bright the stars

a canvas of the greater heavens yet
to lasso and draw-in or pull one's self
up for loftier expansion --

earth experience, perhaps a mere dust-mite
on the surface of creation --

With poetry, Free Verse is far from free:

a rush pounding as the poet's heart~ bursting a
dam of pent-up, drumming passion -- overflowing
banks insane to absorb, to further-in deepen pools of
whatever for drink. Everything is attached...a-thirst, with seen
and unseen flowing tethers --

Premium MemberColours of love

Where remains narrow thought, when two hearts entwine,
dissolving completely in each other’s eyes,
cosmic fire birthing rapture as souls align,
with divine magnetism causing bliss to rise,
renewing its pulse as love for love does pine,
presence delighting in each offered surprise?
Seraphic music soft and slow, hearts aglow,
makes eye single, as love continues to grow.

Where remains our will, when we choose to be still,
relying solely on the mind of our heart,
sipping divine nectar of gods to our fill,
breath by breath thus feeling, bliss ignition start,
union of polarities, a sublime thrill,
wherein compassion deems no soul stands apart?
Continual rapture of soundless thunder,
is beheld by presence in childlike wonder.

No thoughts, no desires, love yet inflicts a burn,
transmuting each cell of form as living light
and as nodes within churn, for God’s touch we yearn,
becoming the beacon that banishes night,
paving the way for soul’s heavenward return,
growing in wisdom and garnering clear sight.
Joy, empathy, compassion; colours of love,
magnetically draw in grace from above.

To Live and Breathe Creating

…for some time
again
to rapidly wing
into joy
creating
with words as heartbeats
and lines
    each sketched for breath
as these pens with their inks
draw in a song of solace
from creating
with its humbling thrill
given stroke by stroke
to designs discovering
thought arias
poetic murals
    lit in symphonic chiaroscuro
for embroidered souls
flying the stunning winds
into Beauty…

days of yesterdays

In the golden corn, the sunlit dawns
we lay in each other's arms
seen babbling brooks, the craggy nooks
In sweet Perth with all its charms.

Gone are the days of yesterdays
since my Maureen went away
the summer morns have now all gone
my Maureen could no longer stay.

We watched the sun fast sinking down
on many a glorious day
we even watched it going down
in the beautiful Dalgety Bay.

Now I find I'm all alone
gazing out to sea
I think of all the love we had
and how much you meant to me.

Gone are the days of yesterdays
since my Maureen went away
I long to kiss your sweet Irish lips
but my Maureen you could not stay.

A gentle sea breeze through my hair
creates the the sound of a sigh
It seems to feel the way I do
brings a teardrop to my eye.

I miss you more as the nights draw in
we kept each other warm
we always snuggled close together
on many a winter's morn.

Gone are the days of yesterdays
they will not come again
though the days of yesterday have gone
our love will still remain.

Gone are the days of yesterdays
the memories of our love maintained
Gone are the days of yesterdays
they will never come again...

Mayhem prevails as calm dries and stirs rise.
A ruckus erupts as words and deeds blend.
Oh, the wrath, related storm, and squall size.
Building burning blaze, to draw in hearts trend.

Dance and bustle, spark the soulful lost fire.
Wrath symphony loudly incites the crowd.
Rumpus drew seeing their whimsies were dire.
Slashes and ripples, ruffled wings, brisk loud.

Cloud voices, balk colder, fire with purpose.
Cyclone whirl, heat, and mayhem hurl the mind.
Through life, wards meet in a stirring service
Spoons, fluff, defiance, and keenness behind

A spark of hope with all this lapse and strife.
Grief may spark split, but it can propel life.

Your Bedroom

i remember your bedroom at your moms house,

Thin walls and black blankets.

A energy drink and my perfume resting on your side desk,

The journal you’d draw in,

And you’d draw me.

Your guitar sitting in the corner,

Red and glossy but always growing dust,

You played music on it and I was surprised at your talent.

A hot summer and fireworks at night,

We’d stay up late, till 5am laughing our lungs breathless.

The moments I swore I’d feel forever never lasted long,

But the sun only reminds me of the moon’s we shared.

Things went south like where you are,

And my mind spiraled into your lies.

Your smile I stared into for hours,

So pure and sweet,

Became a smile that was only fake.

These nights I spend alone now,

I cherish.

Without you I am free.
