A warrior mentality
so to speak –
donning our armor
of daily fashion;
tinted shades closing
off soul-windows,
concealing from
prying eyes of inquisitive
nakedness –
we clothe
fearing being disrobed
truth, such privates far deeper
than skin
Gucci, and likes, the first
line of Metropolitan Defense….

I’m drowning in sunset’s last yellow rays.
Clouds plush as pillows cavort, then fade away.
I want to see, to touch, to feel, and breathe the ocean in;
to seize each sacred second – not to stray.
In primrose twilight, summer lingers near.
A giant stillness surrounds me.
There is so much glory to behold
touching the horizon of a placid periwinkle sea.
Ecstasy envelops me. I melt like ice cream.
September disrobed is a Sapphire night.

Autumn reigns in glory but for a season before
winter covers her with a quilt of snow.
~ by poet
au revoir to autumn leaves
tumbling aground in the breeze
leaving their branches disrobed
naked each season of fall
a time for harvests and feasts
pumpkins to carve, pies to bake
for family gatherings
before winter winds blow in
there'll be white blankets of snow
decorations to be hung
jingling bells then will be heard
and voices singing his praise
hearth fire flames become embers
the scent of pine boughs lingers
I am contented with life
in the haven of my home

You can find anything on the internet
Just take a second to think about that
It’s illegal but it’s there
It’s immoral but it’s there
It’s evil even there

Gold
leaves
flutter
to the ground
Winter approaches ~
Maple tree branches are naked,
awaiting gloomy graphite clouds to clothe them with snow
They languish in stoic stasis, deciduous and disrobed until budding in spring

My parents moved recently–
a nice place, marsh view,
plenty of trees and walking trails
a nice big kitchen for Scottish breakfasts.
Their deck upstairs looks out
on the marsh water shining in the sun.
The aquatic landscape broken only
by the stilted legs of hungry herons.
The floorboards no longer creak
beneath my ocher footsteps
and I feel like a visitor here–tourist
Then I wonder, how much of myself
was left in those creaking planks?
How much of my life is threaded
in their wooden veins?
Perhaps this new deck doesn’t creak
only because I’ve shed the weight
of my childhood, the cloak
of memory–disrobed and I am refreshed
like new bamboo shoots in spring.

She was a gorgeous girl
I met years ago.
at Black's Beach near San Diego.
It's a nude beach
so I wasn't wearing clothes.
She sat down next to me
then disrobed.
Her body was exquisite
I couldn't help but stare.
She knew I was checking her out but didn't seem to care.
We began talking about sex
she mentioned her foot fetish
thought it important I knew
Then she inspected my package
And commented sounding disappointed
I guess eight inches will have to do.

A mottled crab scuppers its sea legs
in fluorescent foam.
Blue pods rattle on green tides.
Bladder wrack, Mermaid’s Hair
washing tangled ankles.
There are voices in my open mouth,
they roll over a briny tongue,
intone words from the breath
of spray and brume.
Where the sky hangs, gull beaks open
to scoop the bones of a shoaling surf.
My heart is booming
in a hollow seashell.
This is the Church of a God
disrobed of human thought.
This is the roofless house
of the sun and moon,
a place consecrated to the storm,
to the depths of darkness;
to the bright blades
of the suns daggering rays.
This night the rough
tussles with the calm
and they dance at the edge
of a clashing chaos.
Mother, father, stranger,
we are all here speaking
through a whirlpool’s gullet,
yet who has gone ahead of us
to express this sea-glow
and hat surfaces at the edge
of our own shores?

A biting wind with broken teeth,
has left its blackened stumps
hanging from the limbs
of disrobed trees
A washed-out daylight
seeps gray.
The streets were bareboned,
greenery lusterless and scant.
Too sudden it seems, too
stark the change from
picturesque autumn and this
threadbare canvas.
A walk in the park confirmed,
my eyesight, my picturing
has changed,
today vision reflects a mind
drained of the light of elation.
Time to shake myself like a dog
emerging from darkening waters.
Time to change my climate,
open internal windows
and seek delight.

All I ever wanted
was to pass...
one night
or even just a moment
in your presence
in your light
delirious with delight
So just this night
or even this moment
Let it come to pass...
Let me hold you
Let me have you
All to myself
Please...
Shut us away
where no one can see
where no one can hear
all that I'm longing to reveal
Let me pass this moment
in passion's possession
in this continuous succession
of lovemaking's confession:
I want you
I've always wanted you,
so for one dawnless night
or even just for one eternal moment...
Let my life pass
in the tasting of longed for lips
in the trailing of my hands in your hair
my desire disrobed, bare
This I swear:
to you, nothing else can compare
Now tell me... tell me, do you dare?
My idol
My dream
My first wish
My last need
Listen to me...
Let caution subside,
and hindrances hide
Open... Open your arms wide,
and let me pass
this night
this moment
here in your arms
Hold me...
Love me, and I'll gladly pass from this world to the next
breath leaving body
as reality enacts fantasy
I'll pass...
Let me pass
My last moment in your arms

I wandered through the walls alone
Where cut stones curse and split stumps groan.
The Quacks couldn't cure me.
I was an anomaly.
A case lost in baggage by the tyrants of science
A link that isn't missink from The Giant Appliance.
They probed me with tests
Disrobed me with shoes
They spared me no rest,
Spoonfed me new issues.
And finding no funding to type a new tick-list,
They could only conclude that I was without sickness.
Under purple skies that promised high precipitation,
Owning nout but a gown and a frowning prescription,
Discharged and dishevelled to the drooling city
Diagnosed with statistical disproportionality.
'The patient is advised, avoid dog hair and doctors'.
I walked home in the rain, under the eyes of helicopters.

Prayer
Clasped were her hands, bowed was her head.
Standing in front of the idols, she invoked her for the beads she had to shed.
Unashamedly the precious pearls overcome her vision.
Here she was in communion with the one, the Supreme, her icon.
A sanctuary where the contents of her soul were unreservedly poured.
A haven where the mask of wellness and the facade of pretentious happiness were disrobed.
An urge too strong to be ignored, she laid bare her dignity.
Here she was herself, she felt herself, she glorified herself in serenity.
Letting go of the intense sorrow that consumed her spirit, she sought solace from Mother Goddess.
Her faith in that powerful entity survived her through the darkness.
The script of her life unbeknownst to her was her blessing.
The heartache, struggles, stress and strain was all her doing.
Now with the eyes close, the soothing presence embraced every figment, every shred and every particle of the fickle ornament;
A gift to the child coming to her in prayer fervent.

Sometimes I lie alone in bed
Eyes closed disrobed and feel you
Your head upon my bare chest
Drowning the beating of my heart
And it’s as if we are conjoined
In raptured pleasure of animal
And Soul fulfilling hunger like
No other beast or human could
Or would dare enter our dream
Of spiritual physical exacerbation
Oh how you free my Soul my Love
Sometimes I lie alone in bed.

American Nero,
showering utter disdain —
Denigration downpour on pleb citizens
begging for pandemic crumbs
As the pestilent fire rages around
your virally tainted kingdom
Ghastly gladly,
you keep on fiddling
acid text madly
Dripping hateful words that burn
deep into the bipolar soul
of a divided nation
An enamel disrobed toga ethos
reveal naked desires
Sparking flames of cold pathos
American Nero,
a contemptible paper reign
is exit poll falling
Whilst the fire of pox chaos
contagiously spread
with spittle accelerant ease
This scorching hoax
raze any flagging, publican hope
Truth unmasked
do singe that gallows rumor rope
Fiery breath fiddler
kindling fear,
high up on that Ivory Tower roof
Tearfully playing the ill-fated fool madly,
as graven torch idolatry
lay fallow ‘neath ash liberty truth

You take the fifth
distilled and delusional
drunk, disorderly and disrobed
fallen to your knees you plea
and pretty pretty plead
your prayers
to multiple dimensions
boots made of stone
you can't run
no directions nor diversions
you can't hide
naked
you abide
songs ring softly in your head
you're alive but somehow dead
life's flashes of brilliance
seem less brilliant
light walks away from you
but you're not through
darkness beckons your pain
in a devil disguised as a saint
you pass judgement
and delve into his realm
as he deepens his hold
you attack and then retreat
regroup then repeat
you succumb and sacrifice your lamb,
your virtues and the sheep
you awaken from this sleep
blinking blankly
and wander on
