We were on our own
Minding our business 

Weighed down by crushing unemployment 
Thoroughly disillusioned by the art of promise and fail

We were disoriented by the perennial lie 
Of being leaders of tomorrow 

While we watched the promised future 
Dissipate before our very eyes

a gossamer idea floats down vacated hallways of my mind
as it registers, I wonder if maybe I am sleep deprived-
are there clouds of exhaustion built up in my eyes?
did I perhaps take a psychotropic pain reliever?
did low blood pressure cause this dizziness?
are my ears playing a crazy trick on me?

Eyelids flutter,
White canvas shutters,
Open to the work around,
Close these windows,
And I dream of sin and slave.

I'm red underneath,
But I hide it with parchment,
And nod my agreement.

When light meets dark,

it was born in a forest of foliage
that it did not find appetite to enjoy
instead it chose marijuana as food
it loved it and boasted about it often

I was worried.

I am disoriented, on grayish
Oh no!, this is gray, real gray

It was light blue, over the ocean

An endless wave switched off the light
Blue became gray

Gray tells about meaningless, uncertainty
As if it tells about peace in same time
But black and white still persist on their stands
