We're different roads

We walk divergent paths, you and I,
Two distinct journeys, like parallel lines in the sky,
Our minds, a dichotomy, a clash of thought and deed,
I navigate logic's realm, while you follow feelings' creed.

Our communication, a discordant symphony,
I'm measured, you're impulsive, a contrast in harmony,
My words, a calculated risk, yours, an emotional release,
We're worlds apart, in every

Men and Women Are Different

He knows he’s got to hide his nuts.
Each man who walks the planet sees
that though we labour, building huts,
we lack the chutzpah, such as these

	i think that even if i were to change,

A Different Kind of World

The old Ford's hum on a road so long
Every mile's a memory, where I don't belong
Left this town with a song in my soul
Never thought I'd lose all my control
The doctor's voice, a whisper of a storm
Shook the ground and left my spirit torn
So I came back home, where the fields are green

Even though fathers might all seem similar in some ways
They are actually all different as are cats and bears
Or even pirates and trees regardless of hidden fees

When working in the woods
Dad was a bear and a force to be reckoned with
But like a famous man, “he preferred it nice and peaceful”

What if everything was different ?
Would you try again ?
If different is incorporated, does this mean it will feel better ?
Would it not worsen ?
How do you get out of your comfort zone while it is the only place giving you comfort 
Will it heal my soul ? 
What about my scars ,

DIFFERENT THINGS TO UNDERSTAND

I wish we were blessed to realize we are ALL human beings
everyone on this planet is related to one another…
because we are human beings in name only
when we choose to ignore the suffering 
of any of our sisters or our brothers.

DIFFERENT THINGS TO UNDERSTAND

She was born a girl but inner heart she knows she is a boy 
and thus spends much of her young life life straddling the edge of joy. 

And it’s no different for him…in the same way his life unfurls…
as he was born a boy but in his heart he knows he is a girl.

Different People Are Beautiful

It's quite a vague choice for beauty
As no two are the same.
Over time society has dictated
The "norms" of life's game.

Sadly the result is insult 
Of "abnormal" types of personality,
A tick or how some dress
Or even clear disability...

But the beauty of those different
Is how, without a word,
They improve the outlook of society
And ensure others like them

     Sharp questions make me reassess
        my thinking’s illogical mess

I’m as pragmatic as a lemming
The most important day I missed
Stayed in my hole cause it was raining
Didn’t want my destiny to meet
