Premium Member Like Diamonds - Bite sized 120

Shimmering cascades of tumbling clear water free falling.

Tiny sparkling crystal-like droplets escaped the mighty deluge.

Sun soaked the waterfall glistened like diamond jewelry.

Marilyn Monroe - Diamonds Are a Girls Best friend's

Marilyn Monroe - Diamonds are a girl’s Best friend

Diamonds, Rusted or shiny, are my best companions when times are tough

When my crystal tear drops from My Deer fawn eyes

Sparkling champagne with a bottle of red wine would do just right
On rainy nights of such gloom

Diamonds, rusted or shiny, are my best friends when my days are cold
Gold of such radiance of the Sun, Breakfast at Tiffany’s Place

I'm a lady with expensive taste,
You have to please me with great royalties.

Premium Member my love for diamonds

black diamonds did not form on our planet
They are from outer space
Reputed to deflect negativity from the wearer

diamonds have a shine that rivals the stars
they look fantastic in jewelry – rings and necklaces
I remember receiving my first one in nineteen sixty-four

I have lost them, found them, and revitalized them
They always delight me
each with her own personality
as diverse as a snowflake
no two alike

Premium Member Diamonds On A Rain Puddle

Diamonds on a rain puddle
I'm twirling in a sea of colors
Flashing lights and headlights
In a modern world of gray
I'm dancing in a rainbow
And the best part about the rain
Is that it masks the tears
Some would call me weird
Others would find this sanctuary
Being alone is what I'm used to
Surrounded by voices
Because they don't see
What I see
So I dance alone
As the heavens cry
I cry with the heavens
And as we cry...
Diamonds on a rain puddle
I'm twirling in a sea of colors
But don't you worry
...Nothing really is

Everyone's Searching

"Everyone's Searching"
(Willie Nelson Style; 4/4 Rhythm)

Verse 1
(G) Some want their diamonds, (C) some want their gold
(G) Some want to stay young and (D) never grow old
(G) Some want only to (C) make love
(G) Others want a love to (D) hold
(G) Some want to (C) save their eternal (G) soul

Verse 2
(G) Some seek for pleasure, (C) some look for truth
(G) Some hunt for the fountain of (D) eternal youth
(G) Some want such power, (C) some want such fame
(G) Many hunt for fortune, (D) others just a name

Chorus
(C) Everyone's searching, (G) nobody finds
(C) Everyone's looking, but (G) everyone's blind
(C) All play the jester, (G) all play the fool
(A7) For nobody (D) plays by the golden rule

Verse 3
(G) Some want a cause on (C) which to spend their life
(G) Others long for death (D) just to end their strife
(G) Some want their diamonds, (C) some want their gold
(G) Some want to stay young and (D) never grow old

Chorus

Diamonds Shine, Not Robots

What shines is a diamond in the rough, not a robot in a black box.

Premium Member Blood Diamonds

Blood diamonds, or conflict diamonds, are gems mined in war-torn regions, where their trade fuels violence and human suffering.
These precious stones come at a steep price, as countless individuals are enslaved and exploited in harsh conditions to extract them.

While these diamonds symbolize wealth and beauty, they also finance oppressive regimes and armed groups, perpetuating a cycle of despair.
In the end, it is the innocent who bears the burden, left with the hope that one-day justice will be served.
Blood diamonds serve as a haunting reminder of the dark side of human greed and its devastating impact.

Premium Member Diamonds in the Mist

The grass blades wet with morning dew,
beads of water glisten within a sparkle
of sunlight.

All is calm within a morning of tranquil peace
grace and solitude.

Moments before the day awakens
with life bursting forth its' hustle and bustle
loud, crowded and eagerness.

Life is good, enjoy the moments...
diamonds in the mist.

Premium Member Diamonds On Velvet

Between sunset and sunrise another great spectacle are the thousands of stars adorning the heavens. Quote by poet.

On a clear night the stars sparkle like diamonds on velvet.

Premium Member rooftop diamonds

     winter sun
     how quickly
     rooftop diamonds
     melt away

DIAMONDS IN THE WIND

DIAMONDS IN THE WIND. GODS Voice is like Beautiful Diamonds in the Wind
Because it Last Forever
For there is No End
In the very Beginning was the WORD
The WORD of GOD is what All Creation Heard
Life started Blooming in the Garden
And even from the Dust
GOD blew his Breath through All of Life's nostrils Because this was a must
The Holy Angel's sang in such Beautiful Harmony And Rhythm
And held the hands of Mankind and Always walked with them
LOVE can be Little, LOVE can be Tall
LOVE Endureth FOREVER
LOVE CONQUERS ALL, Amen.

There was a date I know not when
I can't remember way back then
If time could somehow be reversed
I'd know exactly when the first
Occurrence was I'd heard you sing
I'd never heard a diamond ring
And from that moment when it came
My life has never been the same

Premium Member pink and red diamonds

Pink diamonds are costly
Thirty thousand to one hundred thousand dollars per carat
Five times the price of a white diamond
Maybe this is why we discourage pink wedding gowns

Most of the pink diamonds come from the Argle Mine in Australia
They are rare even in this mine,
Less than one percent of the diamonds there are pink.

Diamonds can also be orange, red, and purple
Red diamonds are so rare that only thirty of them exist in the world.

Eleanor Knightley

Previous nights were mellow and true –
Love had been tender,
Nights had never been blue –
Gentle as the dance, we swung
I hold Eleanor Knightley in my loving arms.

Crystals, amethyst and pearls she wore,
Around her neck diamonds were
Gold as her crown radiated with luminescence,
Extravagant as Egyptian Silk embraced her figure
Carelessly our bodies rhythmically swayed along.

“May I have this dance?”
I asked.
“Why certainly.”

Eleanor Knightley had manipulated my eyes –
Mesmerized by her flair and natural beauty
I am bewitched by the Madame's alluring charm.
As the night enclose –
I hold Eleanor Knightley so close –
Whisper the following words;

“The night may wilt, I say –
But the English rose blossoms foreverly.”

Premium Member Adorned and Adored

Adorned and Adored

Let us adorn
   our daughters with pearls!
Gifting
One pearl — so very dearly
   ocean-made, fresh…
To dress each earlobe
With a radiant luster,
Emphasizing the spirited
Life-light
In her glinting,
   mesmerizing eyes…

Then, gather your heart
To proudly place a string
Of one or some pearls
Around your daughter’s
    so-familiar neck
To lay — more precious
   and worthy than diamonds —
Just below her delighting smile.
