Between sunset and sunrise another great spectacle are the thousands of stars adorning the heavens. Quote by poet.




On a clear night the stars sparkle like diamonds on velvet.

This April in upstate NY there has been a lot of activity in the sky to watch for, comets, visible planets, the moon has it changes shape.... I like to think of my mother being one of those stars shining down on me from heaven. Your poem's title attracted me, peaceful, pretty and positive.

Thank you very much Duke, I remember being in Ireland years ago in a remote part of the west and went out one dark night to a black sky and millions of stars twinkling away like diamonds on a black velvet cloth, I've never forgotten it. Tom
