Denser Poems

Clouds

Time has buried itself too deep,
it forces eras to push
tall mountains around yet more
towering stacks.

The dung beetle is enslaved
by an unwavering purpose and labor.
A feverish Sisyphus twitches
beneath every grain of substance,
weight is piled upon weight,

but clouds,
those billowing sky-blooms
those ghosts of our perception,
they sketch the lightness of air
upon a higher compass.

Even so, the insubstantial
may take a denser form,
a cresting wave of rain
will thunder down
from its gossamer womb.

The whole harnessed world
must now heave
upon every drop of water
as if it were just one more
boulder to bear.

   a dense fog
    followed the rain

   like the billowing steam
    of a locomotive train

yet the fog never left me
    just denser, insane

Origins II

From afar, a green sea;
up close, a twisted snarl of brittle waves.

textured walls reach out and oppress
mildew whips of flora flotsam fauna jetsam in my face

echoing shadows follow in waking eddies
shrill light on a myriad of eyelids that flutter as I pass.

MY BROTHERS.

blind fingertips of rain stream in my eyes, as cacophonous shadows lead me through improbable passages the naked eye cannot discern;

bathed in clarion surges of gold, a seabed of mist reflected from the deep.

This is the cauldron...

my arms reach out painfully to scoop up blind tears in the green sea, but a faceless monstrosity wails in solitude, denser and denser as I go, oppressed heartbeat of light through tall trees.

Breathless, bursting, cords of light fall from the heights, he then fell and his eyes filled with sand.

MY BROTHERS --- there cannot be one when there is one because without two, there are no numbers, and the one is no one and everyone --- fraternal eternal -- and rebirth billows through the mist in a distant voice, beckoning me on.

The Cauldron...

Premium MemberSpring Bows To Summer

Our spring is bowing now to summer days
as it matured from buds, now fully bloomed;
from wispy greens, trees formed a denser phase.
Our spring is bowing now to summer days;
the sun hangs low, aglow with brighter rays.
We breathe warm summer air, sweetly perfumed;
our spring is bowing now to summer days,
as it matured from buds- now fully bloomed.

From wispy greens, trees formed a denser phase;
our spring is bowing now to summer days.
The sun hangs low, aglow with brighter rays;
we breathe warm summer air, sweetly perfumed,
as it matured from buds- now fully bloomed-
from rebirth to full blossoming, was groomed.

Knowing it or not

Accepting it or not

Wishing it or not

We are all

Inhabitants of heaven's realm

Incarnated on the land of afflictions

In an effort

To transmit the celestial principles to

Denser forms of life

So as to help establish our father's law of love

On the earth plane!

Premium MemberA Garden of Stones

My garden of stones
Under the blanket of darkness,
I've come to visit once again
The air feels denser.
A mist builds near
The angels still singing but -
The devil watches over here
Piercing through the silence is
The screech of a cat.
The animals of the dark gather around my lonely garden ,they rest with  ease.
Each a messenger of the soul waiting to be beckoned by its master.

On One Morning

Never again this moment will come,
you just know that, so,
Mending of hearts would take a lot of time,
to fix a mood, low
My sleep is getting darker and denser,
A rather dreamless one
Things in life are withering out,
leaving so many tasks undone.

One fine morning, when sunlight will be melting down
The rays of dawn
I will kiss your sleeping face,
I will whisper in your ear in a gentle tone
“Do you still have time to see the horses in your dream,
Did you see them?”
This will wake you up. Your naive face will have a question.
For me or for them...
“Why did you not wake me up before?“
Leaving an echo only questioning the same.

Premium MemberDefiant

In his hey days of youth
defying all obstacles
fiercely independent
reeping honors
medals and awards
he went beyond
further than most men
with sheer willpower
determination
till suddenly
stealth and unforeseen
crept in time
the twilight
of bygone days
like a veil dropping
a hush circling
a mist rolling in
a fog growing denser
around his world
discreetly hovering
slowly closing in

Queen of the Dusk

The lamp that invokes the dusk,

A splendid natural frisk,

Eccentric among the constellation of stars,

Concealing your char to the view from Mars.

Masking your beauty with the darker clouds,

Blushing away from the denser crowd,

Calming the Earth with the cooling rays,

The land that was warmed up in many ways.

Beetling in the sky, where none can arrive,

Thy captivating vision makes us revive!

Shattering the differences and detachments,

Entrusting, we are under the same sky of bondings and attachments

The enthralling "Prima Donna" of the lovely night, Thou !!!

To you, I make a bow !!!!

Premium MemberMissing Mom's Rebirthday

She would be ninety-two today
if I had my way
Back to where we were
Fast approaching her ninetieth annual Day.

But now I feel too anonymously alone.
She took my best self memories with her.
I wanted to go a bit further to life's bone
with her empathic comfort skills
expanding our mutual listening ZeroZone.

She often cautioned
against going too far alone
too fast
to speak denser wisdom
preferred traveling together
far past
today's too volatile weather.

I miss her custodial care
And listen for her fast and far accessed awareness
together born of ancient DNA solidity
returning her most resilient revisiting integrity

Within this slow-paced dare,
our timelessly untraveled changing day
and night right time
to renew her listening care
more internally unspoken rhymes
compared to her
more accomplished communal way.

She must be ninety-two today
when I've had my best way
Far back to where we are
Fast approaching each ReBirth Day.

It’s the point of no return.
Eyes dive in, swim, drown, refuse rescue.

Denser than black,
fiercer than blood,
a telepathy of purple,
a saturation of half-remembered yearnings.

It’s an incest of shades,
blue impregnating blue a hundred, a thousand times,
until light is aborted,
but its afterimage persists.

It’s a blue cocktail in a blue bar,
into which a lone teardrop
from a woman’s face falls,
but whether of sadness or of joy,
none will know.

It’s a mystery too deep,
an ecstasy too blinding,

a feeling that sears like a dream.

Now Heaven Shone

At eighteen,
I thought that I could write my way to heaven
I’d waltz right in, announce my name, and sit
  down on its throne

At twenty-five,
I sat in jail to rot in isolation
my freedom gone, my will deformed,
  but worst of all alone

At thirty-five,
I thought that I could write my way to riches
the screenplay bombed, all doors were closed,
  and wounds there freshly mined

At forty-eight,
I met a man who told me I was lost
“By Looking Out The Words Won’t Come,
  Your Truth You’ll Never Find…”

By fifty-five,
my path was set—all trails converged as one
the entrance closed, the exit marked,
  a road of denser stone

By sixty-eight,
all verse within, the lines reset to music
the darkness gone, my words set free
    —all light now heaven shone

Premium MemberSummer Love

In June, we start our fling with summer love.
With richer shades matured from reborn green,
the denser, crowded leaves fill trees above,
that sway with rhythm, peaceful and serene.

Deep green abides in velvety, lush grass
that spreads a carpet on the ground with ease,
as tangled vines now cling and drape, amass,
and willow branches dance in summer's breeze.

June brings warm harmony to mind and heart,
with beautiful, soft-blended fertile hues
that paint the scenery with summer art
'neath calm and rolling skies of tranquil blues.

On the last day, June bows to pass her reign-
July and August, summer love, sustain.

My name is Spenser
No dog is denser
I'm not well smarted
But I'm big hearted

And I'll come racing

Stephen Hawking

In memory of Stephen Hawking (8 January 1942 – 14 March 2018)

Now that you've passed
into the apparent horizons
with an infinitely dense
and a powerful singularity
never to return again
yet you will always be with us
far into future when "us" will
turn back in to the star dust
the condensed masses of knowledge
the understanding of the universe will
never be apart from your legacy
it denser inside realms of
the knowledge of humanity
with a physical radius lesser than
the Schwarzschild radius
even though you've vanished
you're knowledge will radiate out
into the universe forever as the
"Hawking Radiation"
