The Poet

To take a thought and shape a poem
Takes patience, and a clue –
The patience for the diligence
Required of a muse
The clue for clever subtleties
Engaging poets use

To form connections yet unformed
Reveal with clarity
The mysteries that men have known
Throughout the centuries
Unraveled with apparent ease
In fonts of industry –

To trace the riddle of a thought
Decrypt it as it bends
To find epistles in a phrase
And coax it from a pen
One finds a poet at his craft
Plying, with keen intent

The words with which to move the earth
And all the universe

Premium MemberI'd like for us to spend the night together

I'd like for us to spend the night together,
Within the dark fabric of the sky where stars are sparse,
To deeply inhale the mystery of a world concealed,
And to fly voiceless into a dream that never fades.
Let's wrap ourselves within the moon's dimmed carousel,
To decrypt the secret carried by the night's breeze,
Strewing kisses on your skin like autumn's fallen leaves,
That find their resting nest in the blaze of your existence.
May my hand slip over your moonlit shadow,
Till darkness drinks the dawn's first nectar blush,
Feeling my footsteps in your pulse, a silent fray,
And over all that's worldly, may we remain the lone petal.
Gliding through the silver seas that envelop us,
Carrying ourselves with ethereal grace on waves of light,
To join together in the echo of the night, gazing with awe,
Like two spirits known and entwined in dance's embrace.
Let's grasp that our love is an unbroken verse,
A living ode on silent notes, swathed in sightless days,
When the world's cool gaze meets us with indifferent stares,
And our embrace captures sparkle in the pallor of the sky.

Here I Wait

I am still waiting here,
Waiting for them to come near,
Me, a fragile being,
Can't decrypt their movement by
any means,
They come they go, whenever
they want,
But here I wait,
Waiting for something,
Something to change my fate.

Are anchors fetters or do they stabilise,
acting as moorings, holding us steady,
that we may stay grounded in our comfort zone,
whilst battling fierce winds of duality?

We walk alone yet seek safety in numbers,
opting to adopt culture based on birth,
deludedly following narrow beliefs,
although in our heart, gong of truth rings not.

We feel within our bones that we are a soul,
so why then do we cling to illusion,
more so recognising that it is transient,
enmeshing mind in a gossamer web?

Employing specious logic, we justify
fear of freedom, inventing a new script,
languishing thus in darkness and rewriting
beliefs in secret code we can’t decrypt.

Premium MemberGod Is Love

The heart is our sacred altar
Ensconced therein, we don’t falter
In contrast, fickle is our mind
Life outcomes wishing to alter

Save love and light, what’s there to find
Decrypt the code by being kind
Love’s the only rule in this school
Let us not be, to God’s light blind

Rising In Love

The mind rises in Love
and the heart lets fall its tears
The soul longs to reach what is above
and the pain mends its fears
The night unveils its shades
and the dream reveals its joys then disappears
The moon drops its light
and a blissful air the very soul wears.

*****
What is within
even under words skin
hard to see
decrypt and read
A ravishing power
a true Light
In the broad extent of dark
I would hide.

*****
A treasure..
a gift from the divine
that expands the world of the heart
feeds a craving
fuels a life
and here I am
rising..
in Love, I rise.

*****
A force waving into my soul
drifting a bewildered whole
as the hand of God
traces a path
weaves a life
I just have to quieten a storm
sense a bond
and willing be to attain a goal.

*****
The mind rises in Love
and the heart lets fall its tears
The soul longs to reach what is above
and the pain mends its fears
The night unveils its shades
and the dream reveals its joys then disappears
The moon drops its light
and a blissful air the very soul wears.

Premium MemberIn My Pyramid of Meditation

In my pyramid of quartz,
Its shimmering crystal walls,
Help adjust my vibrations.
I will arise and touch the
God within; the bright crystals.
All souls must fly, at some point;
If not in meditation.

Soul flight reaches the source;
Touches God’s face and it
Brings in the light of the
God-mind; enlightening
all of those who touch God.
Here I learn to succeed.

For it's a crystals
Purpose to provide,
Energy to fly,
Into the ethers
With no earthly bulk.

When I fly in
Dreams, I must take
Time to decrypt,
What I’m given.

Archetypes,
Are symbols;
Conscious mind,

Does not,
Translate

Well.

Dark Shadows

I used to live in Dark Shadows
Abutting the cemetery
My wife and her lover plotted
An hole in the ground for me

As grave as it is to decrypt
They vaulted me into a tomb
On which my dear wife had chiselled,
"Good gracious! Here lies you know whom!"

Sleepy moods grip
Drowsy dream trips

Dawn lights turns bright
Burns mid-dream flight

Abrupt this wake
For a new take

Stumble to rise
To decrypt prize

Coffee scents call
Strange fancy falls

Caffeine now pokes
With pungent yoke

Joke dear jester
Does change matter?

Premium MemberBy and By

Blue skies
No fluffy clouds
Fond sighs
Mellow not loud

By and by
Such mystic sighs
A sure cry
Leaps high from high

Rhymes brief
Sheer paradox
Old grief
Out-of-the-box

Line by line
Words now encrypt
Feelings brine
Thoughts to decrypt

Sense feel
Unplug the gaps
Work bills
Query mind map

Cry floods cry
Mind magnet stretch
High seeds sigh
Sly words to match

Plant seeds
Let ideas bloom
Feed need
Urge and surge groom

Dark night
Shadows verge here
No light
Insidious spheres

Dance deep daze
Waltz between sneeze
In foul craze
Sour scented squeeze

Haze comes
Ugly taste stalls
Straight sums
Flair flavours gall

Bermuda Triangle

Lies in the large area of Atlandic deep
Betwixt Florida, Puerto Rico, and Bermuda
A creepy, frightening, and mysterious reef
Formed the devil's triangle above atoll Barbuda

The heavily travelled shipping lanes of the globe
Where vessels vanished in mystic circumtances
Region where aircrafts routinely fly over and rove
But skippers and aviators still believe in chances

With the shot in the arm of weather satellites fly
Seen and noticed the unusual hexagonal clouds
Experts in atmospheric phenomena decrypt the sky
Hoped to save from deadly blast of water-air shrouds

Lay words so deep
In this fond trip
In buried sleep
Where feelings grip

Line works that squeeze
In windy breeze
Where itchy sneeze
Can bring fond ease

Lift up to know
In fancy flow
Where joy now shows
A vivid glow

Love knows that feel
In warm appeal
A craze that heals
That anxious will
