You Made Me Dauntless

You made me Dauntless

Part of me is half full and empty
Like a right-handed person trying to be lefty
Trying to scribble down the chaotic memory
Of the hurt I got from ignoring me totally

I try to break my own rules and standards
‘Cause I thought you’re the ace in a card
I dive too deep into the false hope reward
I just realized that you are a real coward

Late-night talks and calls are useless.
You changed instantly and left me clueless.
I threw away the feelings too effortlessly
It made me confident, braver, and dauntless

I’m fed up with trying to make things keep going
It’s you who stops holding and believing
I’ll never let myself fall again for nothing
‘Cause often looks and words are deceiving

Appearances Can Be Deceiving

Altho' I didn't study for my Rorschach test
when the proctor a doctor a shrink
evaluating my perception in search of insight
to discover what I might really think
handed me ten pictures on a card
I took a long hard look
then knew exactly what I did see
and did not blot my copybook
as often what you're gazing at
is simply (on the dot) precisely that
so it was not difficult at all
personally from where I sat
to pass with flying colours
and unravel this Gordian Knot
it wasn't a butterfly moth or bat
sometimes an inkblot is just an inkblot

Opposites attract

They say They say opposites attract,
I suppose they were right to think that especially for us.
For i was naive
and you wanted to deceive
I was as pure as the driven snow
And you were dark like the concept of a Jane Doe.
Opposites attract.
You secretly wanted to attack,
I just wanted you to love me back.
You made me think lust was love all because you were under an act. Opposites attract.
I wanted you on your worst days,
you wanted me at your place for the worst ways.
Opposites attract.
I guess that’s why we aren’t attracted to each other anymore. Because when I look at my actions towards others i see yours and you made me like that.

Premium MemberJust a Thought

Could this life just be a dress rehearsal for a weary soul?
Do we travel thru so many lives until we meet our goal?
Perhaps our massive egos are adept at deceiving.
Should we mourn when a person is born
and celebrate their leaving?

Deceiving Distortion

This distortion I reek of
Is seeping
Its not under control
Im forced into believing this bed is too big for the small room
That the walls of this small room is a way of containing the things I hold
Maybe if my hands weren’t heavy with the burden of myself id be able to see past this small room
The room wasn’t always so small
I was not laid into the room the second I was born
But I somehow built these walls compulsively
I thought it would hide all the things I didn’t want anyone to see
If I keep painting over the scarred walls no one will notice the exist of their presence
If I mend the cracks you won’t be able to see how disproportionate everything is
I hope you’ll see past the roof caving in
Or the water damage from nights of my tears
The messy clutter from my anger
Stains from my mistakes I didn’t bother cleaning
If you can see past all of these flaws maybe you can see me
And save me from the deceiving distortion I’ve built
And the hollowness of it all

Premium MemberBefore and After

Before and after
May show a positive difference
Like a weight loss program
That deceives and soothes people's eyes
But never time and aging
Time comes and goes
Aging lingers and deteriorates
And both of them leave or linger
Without any concrete reasons
And of course
Without your permission
And of course
Without the control of man

Premium MemberThe Fan

The fan moves
From three panes
To six panes
To infinity
Faster and faster the pace
The fan develops
From a lovely flower
To a tremendous - speed - spinning wheel
Deceiving your eyes
Telling you that
What you see
In a swift glance
May not be the truth
In a deep meditation

Time Gentlemen

Never believing that I was deceiving myself
(I guess it must have been a dream)
That I could ever be the man I thought I’d be
And not the man I am today.

Living and loving
With life ever leaving me
Ever leading me on
Through life.
I’d have taken time to be someone
But that time is gone,
And I am left here, now, alone,
With nought to carve upon my stone.

Lying and Deceiving

The last living souls on Earth
will be the ones who lie and deceive.
Humans have painted a portrait of
humanity that exemplifies the worst of us,
and instead of hiding it away,
have turned it into a museum.
One painting to represent one body of work.
Humanity has forced itself into evil;
Cheating and lying and scamming and stealing
to get out of what we have created ourselves.
The last living souls on Earth
will be the ones who ripped humanity’s heart
out, attempting to meld it into a kidney.
Essential, but easily replaceable.
And trust,
It will be replaced.

Sleeping On Duty

Shut eyelids in duty-filled rooms
Instant graveyards make of busy offices:
A longing for robots to take over the brooms
Or complete the suspended notices!

Eyes are closed by wage-earners,
In their old jobs seeming accursed learners:
What, if their superiors’ sneaking visits happen?
Nearly all confidential files riskily open!
The secretaries’ bulging documents are sorting themselves out
And the bursting queues outside can’t repress a shout
Soon, angrily punching the air
Because the whole after is unfair
But only disfiguring the wind, not their problems
Staring back at the Christians and not sparing the Moslems.

They are all in there eyes courting deceiving dreams
And three or four waiters are about to beget a frightening crowd.
The sleepers’ snores betraying Satan’s hymns,
Gradually authority acquiring, progressively loud.

Sleeping on duty is detected,
When silence still answers the affected
Long after the bell for attention has been pressed
For the taker of neglectful rest.

Deceiving In Trade

Trade is allowed someone to live,
Deceiving in trade is like deceiving God they believe!

Deceiving Sun

Even the sun itself can be quite deceiving
Upon viewing it's powerful rays beaming warmth is generally what you'd expect to be receiving
More often than not things aren't quite as they appear
Same goes for taking a gander at yourself in a mirror
Visions distorted but the mirrors not broken
Sometimes a soft gentle whisper can ring louder then other words spoken
Beautiful smiles flashed are sometimes a tedious task
Unseen is the pain accompanied hidden behind the mask
Never judge a book by it's cover
Read between the lines and the truth you seek within, a whole new realm of possibilities you'll soon discover
Reality can often look pretty but is sometimes flat out cold
There's always a couple sides to every story to unfold
What you see isn't always what you get
Ponder this before stumbling upon words you'll regret
The sun sometimes struggles to shine through life's elements and be felt just as we do
Although perceived as a blistering bright orb it has several sides too

Deceiving Beams From False Moons Often Fall

Deceiving beams from false moons often fall
To those sad, lonely and lost love blinded
Aching for tender-sweet renewed love calls
Fall farther being so single minded.

Darkness offers its own glimmering rays
Converted into lights by epic pains
When all seems lost, mere seconds are delays
Minutes wasted seem unbearable strains.

Where once love thrived, now love is forsaken
Such gashes break armor and soon blood spills
Thus any rope thrown is so soon taken
Relief too long waited, brings cold chills.

Pride gone, wandering fires fail to warm.
Then Dark and Blackness wrecks its greatest harm.

Deceiving Evenings

there’s a grey cat sitting on my shoulder
singing the drunken songs of the crying jag
so that’s why she finally didn’t come over?
with silver rings on her eyelashes
with green aurora in her sunglasses

should I be worried when walls slowly fade away?
leaving the crooked winds flood my hollow room
whatever, I’ll be glad with my form of clay
when there’s a thrill in the air, I assume

I’m nothing in nothingness
        a hole in the void
and shards of her killing glance
	made me schizoid
wave, wave and wave from afar
but leavings will always be bizarre
so long, adieu, goodbye (so far)
and don’t forget to send a postcard

Deceiving

DECEIVING
Sometimes love is brilliantly deceiving
Many other times, life is deceivedly lying
Are you talking about loving
Or they are lying about praying
